posted a message on Iguanas Tinker Tweaks
How can I disable the new mining level progression? I disabled the harvestlevel tweaks, deleted the extratic configs, deleted the override configs for both blocks and materials, and everything else I can think of. I'm still getting the new leveling system. Are there any other modules I have to disable?

EDIT: just realized that it worked after deleting some override configs.

    Quote from Neon_ColorsFTW22

It's no relative Minecraft Error. It's simply a fault with his graphics card (which he has none of)

Optifine requires you to have a modern graphics card installed to run Minecraft + optifine as with optifine it has some features in-which it needs to take some use of you graphics card to emulate the game's render with it's own settings.

Having a really old graphics card introduces you with the "OPENGL: pixels not supported error" in Minecraft with optifine installed (or if your graphics card does not support this feature)

That's why he get's that Java crash on his desktop and not inside his Minecraft client.

In terms you can't fix this error. You need to either get a new computer or don't have optifine installed. (or just install a new Graphics Card so it can emulate minecraft better.)
I have opengl 1.4 and it works perfectly fine. Though you still need a quarter-decent opengl for optifine.

posted a message on Curse Premium feature ideas, what do you want from Curse Premium?
I think there shoul be an option to pay for a perminant subscription (kind of like minecraft). And/or, make a free version that may not have as many benifets.

posted a message on [1.12] Minecraft Minions - evil always finds a way
The minions should check to make sure that there is two blocks of space above them when they are picking up players to keep the player from suffacating. The minions should also chunk load where ever they are. The minions shouldn't pick up the master staff, but they should pick up other items more (they shouldn't have to be right where the item is to pick it up, they should have a 2-3 block range).
    Quote from Tytus_of_Asfalt

Minions often dont respond to commands of strip mining and digging given shape. The consume hitpoints, they acknowledge by voice, particles spread around but they just keep standing. But they always make mine shaft and chop trees on the other hand.

This seems to so major bug that I cant use this mode anymore, Im sorry for this since its the best mine-automation mod ever

ps. dismissing minions and calling them back rather won't help

    1.5 version
    Unsummon minions and respawn them.

The tooltip handler still causes crashes with powercraft. But, when I uninstalled powercraft, I reinstalled NEI. I just love it so much.
    Quote from lydocia

Forge indicates that NEI and ChickenBonesCoreMod are properly installed, yet I can't get my inventory NEI to work.
Press "o." If your in creative mode, switch to the survival inventory tab.

It could be that (probably not...), or that she is updating it for the new RP!!! I am just saying and thinking this because I don't want the above to be true :P
I was thinking of that being another possibility, but I wanted to make everyone just stop with the rediculous comments.

A detailed walkthrough of the error, its code path and all known details is as follows:
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    -- System Details --
    Details:
    Minecraft Version: 1.4.4
    Operating System: Windows 7 (x86) version 6.1

    ModLoader 1.4.2
    mod_ModLoaderMp 1.3.2v1

*facepunch* You have all of your versions mixed up. You have Minecraft 1.4.4, modloader 1.4.2, modloadermp 1.3.2, no forge, no turbomodelthingy. Due to the fact that you didn't have forge, the mods folder (including flan's mod) was ignored. Even if you did have forge 1.4.4, flan's mod would be considered a non-mod file because in the 1.3.1 update for forge, they changed the way forge identifies and loads mods folder mods. Everything is either incompatable, not even loaded, or not even installed. Even if you did install it correctly, it still wouldn't work because, again, they changed the way forge identifies and loads mods folder mods, and flan's mod is isn't even updated for Minecraft 1.4.4. Learn to read (the main post [and the title).

I guess RP feature overlap or replacement is a good starting place for a new mod.

Hopefully others will be inspired to make smaller mods that replicate some of the stuff RP dose.
Eloraam is still updating the mod :) .

One possible reason the blog is down is because Eloraam shut it down because of all of the stupid comments that people have been posting on the forum and on her blog. If that's the case, thanks alot (sarcasm). Now just stop it and the blog might go back up.

The fact of the matter is that most of the people that are saying that are in the state of mind in which they are thinking, "Don't give me excuses eloraam, give me results!" They view the fact that there are bugs that are likely gamebreaking as "excuses" and the release as the "results" when in reality, there are no excuses and the fact that she is showing us what she has accomplished is amazing in and of itself.
At the beginning of forgecraft (despite the work Eloraam put into it before hand), There were still quite a few bugs. There was even one that Eloraam fixed a few minutes after they found it while demonstrating a new feature on day 1. Just watch Episode 1 of direwolf20's server play Season 3 (it's not on SotMead's channel because he started late).

Well... I think some of it still worked. Screwdrivers rotating pistons, control (minus ribbon cable) and world gen probably still worked. Also, anything else that was in the first few days of Forgecraft.
Eloraam worked on it quite a bit before forgecraft got started.

    PEOPLE.

Please. I'm going to leave a bit of blank space in here so that everyone can just take a moment to chill, OK?

Alright, is that better? We don't need to close the thread.

All the people who are talking about how the thread needs to be closed: just stop. stop posting about how you want the thread closed, about how people keep bumping with useless posts (HINT: you're doing it too when you do that). It's not necessary at the moment, and people have heard your opinions.

All the people who are talking about how bad a dev Eloraam is, how this mod will never be updated, how this mod SHOULD never be updated (or released): Also, just stop. No-one wants to hear you talk about it. We know what your opinion is. if you feel that way, that's FINE. I don't need to change your opinion, but reposting it just adds to the flames.

Now, can we at least _TRY_ to keep the thread on-topic? Talk about the 1.2.5 version, speculate about features of the 1.4.5 version, but let's try to not touch on release dates or anything related to them.

Else, this thread will *have* to be closed because it would just become a flame war until release, and nobody wants that to happen.

Now since I actually want to stay on topic as well: I recall someone saying something about how the sortron works?

From what I can understand, each block and item is assigned a numerical value (Item IDs? that could be useful) and the sortron can color-tag that item like a sorting machine. it also keeps track of the number of items in an adjacent chest.

AFAIK it can work much like a manager in that it keeps a certain number of items in the adjacent chest when possible.

From this, is it possible that the sortron can keep track of the items in other chests in the network as well? I can see that being very useful, and it would be essentially the computerized equivalent of having a manager in place at each chest in the network.
I agree. Eloraam has been working VERY hard on updating. Just watch direwolf20's server plays (season 2 and 3). They are beta testing mod updates. Now everyone who thinks that the tread should close should really keep it in their head because we don't want to hear it. Minecraft has gone through many changes lately (and I'm not just talking about the built-in server in the client) and it's been really hard to update mods (even mods that were already smp compatable). So stop complaining because Eloraam has been working very hard. You guys should give her a break and credit for her very hard work.
