When I was a toddler a dog bit me on the nose
My parents took me to the hospital; I needed stitches
Seven stitches, to be exact
Whats more, I still have the scar on the bridge of my nose; It forms the number 7
I use the name Sevenstitch (or Se7enstitch, as I do here) everywhere I go on the internet
It's not just an "internet name" for me, It really is part of my actual Identity

I don't check up on resource packs all that often, so this was quite a treat!
Thanks much on continuing this pack!

The palette is great; everything is rich and bright without being overpowering
I look forward to seeing it finished

He's some sort of.. robot.. i guess? I don't know, I just fiddled around in MCSkin3d until that popped out.
It all started from the checkerboard idea on the head I guess.

Down here in Georgia, It's summer heat like 9 months out of the year,
and there is no way I'd stand around in that heat wearing a felt and foam
Statue of Liberty costume twirling around a sign all day for minimum wage
Just last month we had a guy die of heat stroke sign twirling, so it has its
dangers
All that aside, you have some pretty good skill, and If it's what you like to do,
you might as well do it; just make sure to take breaks and stay in the shade

this is pretty much what the last poster said, but I already made a graphic, soo
Yeah, this should help, It hides the chest under a wall, any wall, it doesnt have
to be a corner. The good thing about this thing is that the lever doesnt need to
be there for the chest to be hidden, so you can keep it hidden a little easier.
I don't know about you, but whenever I see switches laying about, my first instinct
is to start flippin' em
there are more complex ways of doing this (neater ways too) but this is very resource light,
and should suit your purposes fine.

itself would have no purpose beyond creating a blower block. It seems a little redundant
to include such a specific item just for the purposes of crafting another item,
especially if it has no practical application on its own.
example:
guy1- hey, how do i make that blower block again?
guy2- Thats easy! First you craft a Fan Item, then you
use that to craft a blower block. Easy, Right?
guy1-Uh, I have to.. make a fan.. then put it in a box..
to make a fan? Why can't I just use the first fan?
guy2-..... uh.. because thats how it works man, jeez
just my 2 cents

Yes, that is basically the idea behind my "levitating stairs" idea in the description.
You would float on top of the breeze doing a little bob motion, kind of like when you
swim on the surface of water. You wouldn't be able to jump while being propelled upwards, though.

I know the bow seems strange, but there are no air movement related items in minecraft at this point. hmm
how about this?
[cobble] [sign] [cobble]
[sign] [comparator] [sign]
[cobble] [sign] [cobble]
This makes a little more sense, I think. The cobble forms the frame, the signs would be the fan blades, and the comparator would be the motor for the block. Still a relatively cheap recipe that requires a trip to the nether first.
updating recipe in first post

I suppose that this would work
cs=cobblestone || cm= comparator || bw=bow || rs=redstone dust
[cs][cm][cs]
[cs][bw][cs]
[cs][rb][cs]
It would lend itself the same basic recipe for the dispenser, but a comparator would be added to the
top of the recipe. this would explain the fan's ability to vary its output.
This block couldn't be crafted immediately in survival, what with comparators requiring nether quartz, but I
don't think that would be a problem. By the time you've reached the Nether, you've stockpiled plenty of redstone dust and blocks and the like, so a comparator would be cheap.
Besides, it would give you an opportunity to alter or improve devices you had already made early in your survival, before you reached the nether.

I hadn't even considered traps, yes I suppose it could be used to fashion some nasty little surprises

A fan / blower block. I'll have several images in the spoiler, that assist in my explanation.
What is it?
This block, when powered, will produce an air current that can push the player, mobs,
and free flowing items away from it's face, similar to how water flow forces you to move
with it's flow. The block can be placed in any direction, so movement can be achieved in
any direction.
How does it work?
When the Fan / Blower block receives a redstone input, It creates an air current that is proportional
to the power of the input. A full input would allow for a 15 block air flow. If the player, any mob, or an
item falls within the gust zone, it/they would be swept to the end of the gust zone at a moderate speed. The air flow, or "gust zone", also displaces water and lava. The gust zone can be obscured by solid blocks, but
is not obscured by iron bars or fences.
Okay, so? Why is this good?
The reason this block is good is because it opens a whole new mode of transportation.
This block would allow for rapid, continuous movement that can be applied in any direction.
What's more, the power of the Block can be adjusted, allowing for more customization with the
block.
Alright, but what could we use it for?
Here are several ideas.
really benefit from its inclusion. This block isn't meant to replace or nerf the functions of other blocks,
It's meant to collaborate with them to make new cool gadgets and doohickies for all of us to play with,
and isn't that what new blocks are supposed to do?
How would we make one of these blocks?
I suppose that this would work
[cobble] [sign] [cobble]
[sign] [comparator] [sign]
[cobble] [sign] [cobble]
The cobble forms the frame, the signs would be the fan blades, and the comparator would be the motor for the block.
