We were playing on 1.8 for reasons, so I'm not sure if this applies on 1.7. In the room where you rate Harold, the redstone line to open the door doesn't reach all the way to the block under door so the door never opens.
But the map was perfect everywhere else and we enjoyed it thoroughly. 10/10 would recommend.
When trying to go to the Ad.fly links I get a 503 service unavailable message. I would love to download this map and play it but I can't because of broken links/service. You should add direct links for when ad.fly decides to break.
Hey, I'm Ultra695 and I'm starting up a minecraft youtube channel. Approximately each week I will release a video showing the construction, mechanics, and feature demonstration of my most recent build. The special thing is that the creation will come from user ideas! On each new video, I'll take an idea from the comments section and use it for my next video.
The first episode is .

this creates a sphere so large that the top flat section will probably be wide enough to catch all that needs catching. If it needs to be bigger, just add more zeroes.
keep in mind this will affect areas FAR beyond the reach of the course or whatever you're doing. If there's anything else on this world using that space, you may need to use a scoreboard objective to only teleport the players you want.
Commands for that
/scoreboard objectives add TPcheck dummy TPcheck --(creates the objective)
/scoreboard players set <player to enter course> TPcheck 1 --(gives the players on the course a score)
and you would add "score_TPcheck_min=1" to the selectors on the teleport command.
This was amazingly done. There were only 3 (minor) flaws I found while playing this map.
1. When climbing up the scaffolding it's incredibly hard to jump and grab on to the top ladder.
2. There's no checkpoint (or it didn't go for me) before the partially-complete building that has the checkpoint ladder system. Again right after you get to the top of that building there's no checkpoint before the big jump.
3. The end isn't very obvious, I didn't notice I was in creative until I punched a block in frustration, and then it took me a while to realize it was the end. Maybe just a command block or sign saying that you did it?
Again these flaws are very minor, the map is amazing and painless to install. I would rate 10/10 to anyone who asked.
Actually it is possible to (indirectly) test if a player has an item via it's ID. I think this is due to an update to the /clear command.
What you do is use a cmd block to clear that specific item (/clear ###) and a comparator to check if the cmd succeeded. If it did, it means the player did have the specific item in their inventory, and the comparator will output a signal. Otherwise, if they did not have the item, the comparator will be off.
The quirk here is that the item will be taken away from the player, meaning you may need to give it back. This works for basic items, but not for items with unique data such as enchantments or custom names.
In your case however, I think this would work fine:
/clear @p 35 5
Put that in a cmd block, attach a comparator, followed by another cmd block that simply clears everything with basic /clear. It will clear the player's inventory of lime wool (35:5), and if they had any, will then clear everything else.
Example setup:
Left cmd block has /clear and right cmd block has /clear @p 35 5. Note: you need to unpower the comparator after a success if you need this to work multiple times in a row.
but how does the second command block (or ones further down the line) know who's inventory to clear or who to TP?
So I run a vanilla creative server, and for the most part I don't want some items(tnt, tnt minecarts, eggs, spawn eggs) to be used. To do this I made some command blocks that constantly remove those items from all players inventories. Because commandBlockOutput is true, I can see who tried to use the restricted item.
Now I want to make a separate system that would spam my chat with commandBlockOutput true, so I need a system that will both tell me when someone had a restricted item in their inventory, then remove that item.
I'd think the system would use a /testfor command ->comparator-> /tell command + /clear command. I just can't think of what would actually need to be there.
Using Zombe's pack with 1.6.2 magiclauncher causes my minecraft to have no sound. I have to use F3+S until the sound system launches properly. The error in the log shows up as

So there was no way I was going to click through all of this to make an alloy furnance. Stone to dirt at herbalist 512 dirt->128 gravel->32 clay ->32 bricks->8 brick blocks->alloy furnace. I just cheated and got one.
Is there something i'm missing? or are we really supposed to do all of that.
When I launch minecraft using the .bat, it doesn't crash. When I launch it using MultiMC, even with 2GB of ram dedicated to it, it crashes.
