This looks amazing! I can't wait to see where it goes.
I love the look of both the Hobbits and the Orcs. Although, where does the latter spawn? Do they have cities? Or do they just spawn randomly? I personally imagine them spawning in "bands", kind of like Zombie Pigmen, which roam around randomly on Wargs and attack Hobbits and helpless animals.
I'm curious, will there be Eagles? Some type of tamable Nazgûl-bird would be interesting, as well.
Although I'm a guy, believe it or not, I am a massive Warriors fan. If this mod reaches completion, I swear, it'll be one of the happiest day of my life.
I'm curious, will the player spawn alone in single-player? I just think that seems kind of odd. In my opinion, it'd make more sense if you spawned in a clan of NPCs.
Although I suppose it's not necessary, it'd be cool if you could play as BloodClan (15 hearts? Beefed up attack? Extremely slow and unable to swim?), Rogue (neutral stats?) and Tribe of Rushing Water (extra jump? Faster on snow?). Of course, whether or not to add those is your choice, I just think it'd be interesting.
I must say, I'd really enjoy seeing Citipati orOviraptor, as a tamable dino. I was thinking perhaps any mobs killed by them could have a substantial upgrade in drops? Another option could be that they'd "steal" items from other mobs, getting drops but not killing the mob.
Wow, this is an absolutely amazing mod! I usually make huge, complex suggestions for mods, but for now all I can think of is maybe a BloodHound skill? You could give the dog a certain item, and it will track down whichever mob drops that particular item.
However, I don't see how the Feather Armor would be fantasy-like. If you were a spiritual person, or even a normal person, if you were wearing feathers, wouldn't you feel like a bird? I could see whoever that is being invigorated by the feathers, there by motivating them to move faster.
EDIT; I've been researching Zulus, and I'm quite interested in making a Zulu Village. However, I don't even have the full version of MC or any coding experience, so it may be a while before I make them (IF I make them, that is).
(This goes to the post above, I didn't quote it because that would be pointless)
I totally agree with you on that point that it's useless. However, just because it's useless doesn't mean you shouldn't add it, it could be a collectible item.
However, as I've said before, Mayans were good with feathers... why not add special feather armor? It would be far more unique than gold. Of course, feathers wouldn't actually protect you, instead I see them as raising your speed slightly. Not because they make the player weightless or anything, but give the illusion of weightlessness, therefore making the player feel as if he/she is weightless, therefore raising his/her speed.
(BTW, great post Pallanza. I love it when I find people here who don't post two word sentences with a whole bunch of smilies. No offense to anybody or the smilies. )
I highly suggest a Domestication skill. I was thinking for every point there would be a 0.5% chance that when breeding (coming to the next version of Beta) there would be twins instead of a single animal. Also, maybe every 10 levels the bones needed to tame a wolf will go down?
Just an idea, of course. :wink.gif: Usually I'm not big on mods like this, but EXP is very disappointing without any way to use it.
If anything, their armor would be made of leather. The only armor gold would have any presence in in any part of the world during the 11th century were ceremonial suits. Gold, no matter how you treat it, is too soft to serve as decent protection. Even layered cloth was more effective then gold armor, and far cheaper.
Mayans were very crafty with gold (and feathers, but that's beside the point). In fact, they even had a special alloy of silver and gold similar to electrum.
complex idea...
and btw the Dakosaurus isn't in Jurassic Park, and as you mught have noticed all Jurassic Park dinosaurs are in the poll.
and i think it's more likely that all dinosaurs from JP will get done first.
and 0.5 also already adds aquatic dinosaurs.
so just be patient, and in the meantime just pick a dinosaur from the poll which you'd like to get added later on.
Herrerasaurus isn't in JP, nor is are any Pachycephalosaurs, and the just added the latter. I fell for it. But Plesiosaurs and Mosasaurs weren't in JP either (I hope the later is tamable, their one of my favorite prehistoric creatures).
Anyway, I never was being impatient, I don't know what you're talking about... I was just making a suggestion.
I don't mean to be rude or anything, I'm just pointing that out. :wink.gif:
Although I personally do not appreciate your vulgar language, I do appreciate your determination to keep this mod alive. In fact, the latter means so much to me that the former is almost nullified, so I wish you good luck, and I will be watching (the mod).

Another creature that might be kind of interesting to add is Harpagornis. I mean, how can you go wrong with giant eagles?

BTW, no stuffed crocodile? D: What's a stuffed animal collection without a crocodile? I don't mean to stress you, but crocodiles are awesome.
