Not exactly I don't think you understand what ModLoader does? All it does is allow for some minor compatibility and in all is a terrible system, everyone knows it won't last long which is why forge came along, but even that still has issues with other mods. A fresh new API built directly into Minecraft will allow for 100% compatibility between mods.
AMCO for 1.2.5 has just been updated to Revision 2.
Lots of great stuff this time: Bug Fixes for 'Humans Plus', 'Friend Mod', and 'Spawner GUI', plus custom config for your friend, Wanda. 'TropiCraft' by Cojomax99 and crew is amazing. A whole new dimension of fun in the sun has been added. How to get into it? Sit in a beach chair and sip pinacoloda while watching the sunset of course! '4096 fix' by Mdoyo is finally in the pack. It gets us a lot more ID codes (but not more terrain and item sprites) and allows lots of great new mods like: 'InfiBlocks' also by Mdoyo adds tons of new blocks, plants and items. Very cool. 'Industrial Craft 2' is back. New ores, rubber trees, and lots of handy new machiens and tools. 'Coral Reefs' is also back, and makes the underwater expierience so beutiful I provide custome textures. 'Nether Ores' by AtomicStryker makes the Nether much more interesting by adding more minables. and lots of other stuff like a brand new example world, "Majic School"
Enjoy

P.S.
People were asking for manual install instructions:
1) Open AMCO1_2_5rev2.zip. Go to "mods/required/Core Mods and Settings".
2) Place everything inside the "Jar" folder into your minecraft.jar file.
3) Place everything inside the "resources" folder into your .minecraft folder.
Took longer and got less done than I had hoped, but still some great improvements:
'Millenare' was updated to include the 'Forge' compatable version. That is really great news. It means the mod is much more compatable with others, like 'Portal Gun'. 'Portal Gun' was added to the pack's default (machiene) theme. 'Display Cases' were added too. Show off the new stuff, even new items from mods! 'Crystal Wing', 'Starting Inventory', 'Floating Ruins' and other DaftPFV mods were updated by Bspkrs (and promptly added to AMCO). Teleport home, start your game with a 'Recipie Book', and admire the strange hovering islands in AMCO's "Strange" theme. Themes were added again too. So far just 2 thanks to modders hard work on compatability: "Machiene" is AMCO's default theme. 'Millenare' and 'Portal Gun' are enabled, but 'Fossils' is off to make room. "Strange" is a theme build around 'More Creeps and Wiredos'. 'Portal Gun' and 'Display Cases' are off to make room, but 'Floating Ruins' and 'Fossils' are on to increase strangeness. Lag was adressed too. AMCO no longer contains 'HD fix', and is fully drop-in compatable with 'Optifine'. Install as normal, after AMCO. HD_S version reccomended. 'Isabella' textures for vanilla items by BoneMouse, and macthing textures for many mods by ScottKillen are also included now. They are 16x16 so give the game a new look without killing wimpy video cards.
Enjoy

P.S to Jalfje,
I had a look at your ruins template and dont' really see anything wrong.
Looks the same as the ones I make except your "unique=0" is in a different spot.
Have a look at my "GoldWell" ruin and clip it down to size if you want.
Also, thanks again to everyone who's been able to answer someone else's question.
Still putting out the best modpack on the interwebz.
The author of 'Mo Creatures' does not grant permission to include.
I do have permission to include 'Creeps and Wierdos'.
However, it adds a ton of new block and item textures/sprites.
We don't have many sprites left, and only have 2 or 3 Block ID codes.
So I'll have to remove other things to make it fit.
This is why I'll probably reintroduce themes again:
A "Strange" theme centered around 'Creeps and Wierdos'.
And a "Machiene" them centered around 'Portal Gun'.
I'll probably have to disable 'Millenare' and a handfull of others though.
Someone was also asking about 'Tale of Kingdoms'.
It has not been updated to 1.1.0 yet, but as soon as it is ACMO will include it.
I have also been able to salvage worlds from 1.0.0 with my latest setup.
So "Wizard's Workshop", the world I've set up for mod testing and demonstration,will be back in this week's update (Along with IC2 and some other nice goodies):
* Self extruding brick factory.
* Subaquatic mineshaft.
* Dino-experimintatino lab.
* Nice cabin in the woods as home base.
* Transdimensional railroad.
* and lots more.
Everyone else will be able to copy all thier old 1.0.0 worlds into ACMO for 1.1.0 after this week's update too.
First you must load up your old world in a working version of 1.0.0.
A working copy of 1.0.0 is in your minecraft_old folder if you followed install instructions.
Back up your 1.1.0 by renaming it, and use the recovery procedure to get back to 1.0.0.
Next you must open your world and destroy all 'Equivalent Exchange' blocks/items.
Not save in inventory, not hide in a chest, destroy in fire or lava else crash.
Then copy the world into your saves folder for 1.1.0 and pick up right where you left off! :biggrin.gif:
I've been super carefull about keeping ID codes the same, so this will be the first time everyone doesn't loose thier worlds because of an update to Minecraft.
Awesome.
I'll repost these instructions on the front page Thursday or Friday when the next update is out.
Have fun till then.

P.S. Special thanks to Olangotang for posting the reminder about how to install 'Optifine' correctly.
AMCO comes with 'MCpatcher', so don't install Optifine's yz.class file.
I'll add that to the front page next update too.
Just a quick note to say a little over half of the mods in AMCO 1.0 have been updated now.
So development for AMCO 1.1 is now underway!
First revision will be aiming to integrate about 3 dozen mods.
If there are no major snags it will most likely be available near the end of the week.
New additions include: 'Industrial Craft 2' adds even more machienes and ores. 'Red Power 2' renamings and textures. Rubber trees are now called "Palm" trees to avoid confusion with IC2. 'Portal Gun' was added in the "Machiene" theme. 'Closed Circuit TV' and 'Invasion' are also active in that theme, but a lot of other mods like 'Millenare', 'Zeplin', and 'Tale of Kindomes' were turned off to make room and avoid conflicts. 'Humans Plus' is back in the mix, but 'Elemental Arrows' was turned off to get more item sprites. 'Crafting Table II' is in there. It's awesome: Shows everything that can be built with the items currently in inventory and even has descriptions. 'ThaumCraft' brings even more magic to the game. Capture the 'Vis', enchant more stutt, and watch out for those magic slimes. 'Reef Mantas' adds tameable, ridable water mobs to the game. 'Hidden Doors' by TehKrush was also added.
Consider it a (late) Cristmas gift, and have fun with the new stuff everyone.

P.S. AMCO is not for multiplayer. There are too many mods in it that do not support SMP.
