I have put up a second test server using the port of the old map to test several mod updates and the addition of several mods as well. Please let me know of any bugs found before we update the main server in a couple of days.
Keep in mind that you should have a backup of your files for accessing the main server.

This afternoon, it was brought to my attention that Port city was griefed by one of the recent additions to our server.
After reviewing the logs and seeing the damage done firsthand, we decided to de-whitelist the prime suspect and revert PortCity to an earlier save. The port city region was the only one reverted, and it was only about 5 hours prior to the time it was reverted.
In light of this incident, again, I remind everyone that we don't have individual block logging anymore. I know that there are several replacements for LogBlock out there, but all require huge amounts of either HDD or SQL Database space to accomplish that level of protection. Take care who you make members in your regions, and Worldguard and LWC should be sufficient protection without the overhead.
Also in light of this incident, I must review the application process currently in place. We have built a great community here and I don't want a few brats whose idea of fun is ruining the work of other members to tarnish that reputation. I have obviously been too trusting, and will work to make sure that this does not happen again.
Hmm, finaly finding some time for minecraft but it looks like you changed the Servers IP, and I bet I'm not on the whitelist anymore^^.

Your application sounds OK, but make sure your account stays secure this time. You do understand that we are still running version 1.25? If this is still OK to you, I'll whitelist you when I get home from work tonight.
I made some plugin changes last night that should make things better on the server:
First off, bChat Manager is out, and ChatSuite is in. It allows several new features such as creating public and private chat channels so that you don't have 50 conversations going on in the public chat. A full list of the commands can be found here: https://github.com/krinsdeath/ChatSuite/wiki/Commands
As for permissions, you must be resident or above to create a channel, everybody has access to the rest of the commands, except debug or reload, which are admin only for obvious reasons.
Next buggy WeatherRestrictions is out, and WeatherScopes is in. It replaces the global weather system with random storms that each have a specific size, location and move around the server. Each individual storm will generate, move around for a certain amount of time, then dissipate. Information can be found here: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/weatherscopes/
Only moderators and above have access to the commands for that one.

Quite a bit has changed actually. The old mining server was removed with the release of 1.25 and to make way for the new HC server at that time. We had kept the old world for a while in case people wanted to keep their creations in the old world. Everybody ended up moving to the new map anyway, so after several months of inactivity, the old server was also shut down,and most of the valuable stuff moved to the HC server. It is now our only world. I sent you the address again via PM in case you didn't have it. Unfortunately if you haven't been on since then, probably most of your possessions were on the old map, and therefore gone. You are more than welcome to come back and set up a new place in the current world, but keep in mind that we have not yet updated to 1.3.
One of the new members brought to my attention that the MediaFire account that I had been using for the update pack was not letting anyone other than me access the file anymore. I have moved it to a new link that can be found in the first post of this thread as usual. let me know if anybody has problems downloading it.

Demotracks was a valued member, Sadly, we haven't seen him for a while. I am willing to give you a shot, but you understand that the server is running version 1.25. If you have already updated to 1.31, you will have to roll back before installing the required mods, or wait until the server updates.
