Well, one day I was thinking about Minecraft not having an end. You can kill the Ender Dragon or the Wither, but after this there's always something else to build, craft or mine. But I always thought there was an issue with this. Even when the beacon is quite useful, I think the Dragon Egg and the Beacon could have some extra unique uses, to spice up the player's Minecraft life after defeating the bosses, so here is what I suggest:
The New Stuff:
(The images below are only to give you an idea of how an item would look like, but I don't think they would be the definitive textures)
Heated Dragon Egg:
Obtaining:
The heated dragon egg is unobtainable in survival mode.
Generation:
When a dragon egg is placed on top of a beacon, with non-flowing lava at its sides, a hugeexplosion particle is produced, surrounding the structure while the dragon egg disappears and a heated dragon egg is produced in its place.
Drops:
The heated dragon egg can only be destroyed by mining it with a diamond or dragon pickaxe. It breaks after 4.5 seconds and drops 9 dragon ingots.
Dragonrock:
Obtaining:
Dragonrock is unobtainable in survival mode.
Generation:
When a bedrock block is mined with a dragon pickaxe during a whole minute without stopping, the bedrock block is replaced by a dragonrock block.
Drops:
Dragonrock can't be destroyed in survival mode.
Dragon Ingot:
Obtaining:
When a heated dragon egg is mined with a diamond or dragon pickaxe, it drops 9 dragon ingots.
Craftings:
8 dragon ingots can be crafted into a dragon chestplate using the same recipe as in a leather tunic, replacing the leather with dragon ingots.
7 dragon ingots can be crafted into dragon leggings using the same recipe as in leather pants, replacing the leather with dragon ingots.
5 dragon ingots can be crafted into a dragon helmet using the same recipe as in a leather cap, replacing the leather with dragon ingots.
4 dragon ingots can be crafted into dragon boots using the same recipe as in leather boots, replacing the leather with dragon ingots.
3 dragon ingots and 2 sticks can be crafted into a dragon pickaxe or axe using the same recipes as in a wooden pickaxe or axe, respectively, replacing the wooden planks with dragon ingots.
2 dragon ingots and 1 stick can be crafted into a dragon sword using the same recipe as in a wooden sword, replacing the wooden planks with dragon ingots.
1 dragon ingot and 2 sticks can be crafted into a dragon shovel using the same recipe as in a wooden shovel, replacing the wooden planks with dragon ingots.
It can be used in an anvil to repair dragon tools, armor and sword, restoring 1/4 of tis durability.
Dragon armor and sword:
Dragon Helmet:
Obtaining:
5 dragon ingots can be crafted into a dragon helmet using the same recipe as in a leather cap, replacing the leather with dragon ingots.
Usage:
It has the same durability and armor points of a diamond helmet, but it makes its user completely inmune to negative potion effects.
Craftings:
A dragon helmet can be crafted with another dragon helmet in order to get one with higher durability. It can also be placed in an anvil with a dragon ingot to repair it. This follows the same rules of diamond helmet fixing.
Dragon Chestplate:
Obtaining:
8 dragon ingots can be crafted into a dragon chestplate using the same recipe as in a leather tunic, replacing the leather with dragon ingots.
Usage:
It has the same durability and armor points of a diamond chestplate, but any endermen in a 16 block ratio of its user will be peaceful towards them and attack hostile mobs. They become neutral again when they leave this area.
Craftings:
A dragon chestplate can be crafted with another dragon chestplate in order to get one with higher durability. It can also be placed in an anvil with a dragon ingot to repair it. This follows the same rules of diamond chestplate fixing.
Dragon Leggings:
Obtaining:
7 dragon ingots can be crafted into dragon leggings using the same recipe as in leather pants, replacing the leather with dragon ingots.
Usage:
They have the same durability and armor points of diamond leggings, but they allow its user to teleport 100 blocks in the direction they're looking (Only north, south, west or east) If there's a solid block in the place the player is supported to teleport to, then the player teleports to the nearest empty space from that place. This ability is activated by pressing the "P" key while wearing the leggings, and it can only be used once each in-game day.
Craftings:
Dragon leggings can be crafted with other dragon leggings in order to get ones with higher durability. It can also be placed in an anvil with a dragon ingot to repair it. This follows the same rules of diamond leggings fixing.
Dragon Boots:
Obtaining:
4 dragon ingots can be crafted into dragon boots using the same recipe as in leather boots, replacing the leather with dragon ingots.
Usage:
They have the same durability and armor points of diamond boots, but it allows its user to teleport to the obsidian platform in the End, no matter in what dimension they are. This ability is activated by pressing the "L" key while wearing the boots.
Craftings:
Dragon boots can be crafted with other dragon boots in order to get ones with higher durability. It can also be placed in an anvil with a dragon ingot to repair it. This follows the same rules of diamond boots fixing.
Dragon Sword:
Obtaining:
2 dragon ingots and 1 stick can be crafted into a dragon sword using the same recipe as in a wooden sword, replacing the wooden planks with dragon ingots.
Usage:
It has the same durability and extra damage of a diamond sword, but it teleports any entity it hits 3 blocks up from where it is.
Craftings:
A dragon sword can be crafted with another dragon sword in order to get one with higher durability. It can also be placed in an anvil with a dragon ingot to repair it. This follows the same rules of diamond sword fixing.
Dragon Tools:
Dragon Pickaxe:
Obtaining:
3 dragon ingots and 2 sticks can be crafted into a dragon pickaxe using the same recipe as in a wooden pickaxe, replacing the wooden planks with dragon ingots.
Usage:
It has the same durability, effectiveness and extra damage of a diamond pickaxe, but it can mine bedrock making it drop 1 bedrock shard in 1 minute (You can´t still get to the void, as the bedrock is replaced by dragonrock).
Craftings:
A dragon pickaxe can be crafted with another dragon pickaxe in order to get one with higher durability. It can also be placed in an anvil with a dragon ingot to repair it. This follows the same rules of diamond pickaxe fixing.
Dragon Axe:
Obtaining:
3 dragon ingots and 2 sticks can be crafted into a dragon axe using the same recipe as in a wooden axe, replacing the wooden planks with dragon ingots.
Usage:
It has the same durability, effectiveness and extra damage of a diamond axe, but it has a special effect. (I don't know what could it be yet)
Craftings:
A dragon axe can be crafted with another dragon axe in order to get one with higher durability. It can also be placed in an anvil with a dragon ingot to repair it. This follows the same rules of diamond axe fixing.
Dragon Shovel:
Obtaining:
1 dragon ingot and 2 sticks can be crafted into a dragon shovel using the same recipe as in a wooden shovel, replacing the wooden planks with dragon ingots.
Usage:
It has the same durability, effectiveness and extra damage of a diamond shovel, but, when left-click is pressed while in hand, it will create an ender pearl moving in the direction the player is looking at.
Craftings:
A dragon shovel can be crafted with another dragon shovel in order to get one with higher durability. It can also be placed in an anvil with a dragon ingot to repair it. This follows the same rules of diamond shovel fixing.
Bedrock Shard:
Obtaining:
When bedrock is mined with a dragon pickaxe for a minute, it drops 1 bedrock shard (It is still impossible to reach the Void, as the bedrock is replaced by dragonrock.
Craftings:
8 bedrock shards can be crafted into a bedrock chestplate using the same recipe as in a leather tunic, replacing the leather with bedrock shards.
Ohhhh, God. Something bad just happened. The FTB launcher offered me to update FTB Infinity Evolved from 1.9.something to 2.2.something. That changed the first number so it looked like the real deal and I hit the x with the mouse, so my world kept playable. Then I opened the game and tried a world I had made before all this happened and it crashed.
It turned out the modpack had updated (I think) and now I'm not sure what to do. Is it possible to play older versions of a modpack or something?
I will be nice and give you something fun. Build a trampoline! use redstone if you know how to
(This is 1.8, right? If not then good luck )
In fact, it's 1.7, is the challenge still on foot? If it is, then it would be cool if you answered some questions. Let's say I can make trampolines without a redstone circuit, can I do it that way? Also: Does it have to be completely reusable, allowing me to jump on it over and over again without having to spend an item or block after a certain time?
Ok, Kill five witches in one day. Do you accept it?
Why would I kill five witches if I can kill one and why would I kill them in one day if I can do it in a week?
Answer this questions and I may accept it.
Oh, you know, I raided dungeons, traded with villagers, and threatened to throw knives at people who didn't give me saddles traded with more villagers.
You should make a mob grinder with the spawner you found! It'd be a nice source of exp to grind up to epic enchants to fight the bosses! Good luck to you!
Thanks for the post
-Demonic <3
No!!! A creeper - zombie team appeared and it blew the spawner up. I barely survived myself.
Back on my times in pocket edition my survivals used to last until I fell off a clif with my full diamond armor and ragequited, so now I'm quite prudent with that kind of deaths.

"If you copy the command from the page get your hot dog writing: /give @a golden_horse_armor 1 0 {display:{Name:HotDog}}"
That's not necessary. You only have to press the button on a command block that appears after you use the command and it will give you the hot dog.

Um... okay...
No!!! A creeper - zombie team appeared and it blew the spawner up. I barely survived myself.
Blessed.
PD: This seems to be the most active thread I've created.

I'm not going to release any day this weekend. I took a few days off!

I totally agree. You should move this to the Suggestions forum.

You'll get bored and stop writing?
Anyways, I like it, and I'm too tired to criticize you. Good job!

Day 5 is out! I had a lot of fun playing it and I hope you have fun reading it too.
Also, is anyone actually downloading the worlds? Because I could save myself some time if I stop uploading them.
