INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS
---------------------------------
Ok i know i said i wouldnt post these again but for another time here are ALL the links and instructions
(Alternatively you could all stop complaining about it not being updated or having problems and wait one more goddam day for an Official update.......or not, your choice XD)
First off a few basic things for beginners.
To host your own server you require a server.jar file rather than a server.exe file, these are located on the same page on www.minecraft.net under downloads. I suggest placing the server in its own folder on your desktop, entitled Server or minecraft server, in order to keep it self contained and easier to maintain.
Client side means on your own computer, as your minecraft is the Client, it is your own minecraft folder
Server side means wherever your server is located, for some people this is on the same pc as their Client, this does not mean it is the same folder as your minecraft.jar, it is simply located on the same or another pc.
When installing mods on the Client you must always delete the folder entitled META-INF, as this is a kind of integrity check on the minecraft folders. If it is not deleted it will lead to errors with minecraft trying to rectify the changes you have made to it.
When istalling mods on the Server NEVER delete the META-INF folder contained inside of the server. You must still delete the Client side META-INF folder
In order to install a mod certain steps must be taken, for the purpose of all the mods listed on this post, one method of install is sufficent.
You must locate your user/local/roaming/appdata/.minecraft folder
Inside of this is a folder called bin(this houses minecraft.jar) and a folder called resources
These 2 folders are the core of mod installs.
Inside of your individual mods you will find it asks you to place files inside of either the Minecraft.jar file, or the resources folder.
To open minecraft.jar or server.jar you will need to use a zip program, i suggest winrar as you will be able to right click the file and choose open with winrar.
Inside of this file is a whole heap of folders, ignore them all as they are irrelevant EXCEPT for META-INF. Delete META-INF.
Once you have done that, you can go ahead and drag the files form your mods into their appropriate places, whether into minecraft.jar or resources. For minecraft.jar you simply need to drag all the required folders and files into it and drop them on the main window, ie minecraft.jar(NOT A SUBFOLDER OF THIS)
NOTE: BEFORE you begin installing, it would be wise to have no other mods installed already as it can lead to errors in the install process. Also you will need to choose any future mods carefully as many things are incompatible with a mod of this size. You may be lucky and only find that 2 of your 25 mods are incompatible at the one time or you could be like the majority of the cases and find that 0 of your mods are compatible. MY advice is to back up your minecraft folder everytime you make a succesfull install so that if a mod doesnt work you can simply wipe the minecraft and replace it with your backup, thus you wont have to begin all the installs again.
Also DONT FORGET TO DELETE META-INF from your minecraft.jar ALWAYS

--- END ERROR REPORT 5507796a ----------
I have like 22-24 mods installed, and do not normally work with forge, last night I tried adding in explosions+ forge and audiomod, if I remember right I started with a fresh .jar, and it blackscreened. I have heard issues about zombe, forge, modloader etc, needing to be installed in a specific order.
If I posted all the mods I am using(Just the names) do you think anyone could tell me what is conflicting, what may never work with each other, and what order I would install them to work the best? (Like modloader, modloadermp, forge, then zombe, etc)
modloadermp and mcforge dont work together either....or at least not usually....
i havent been here in awhile.....ummmmm......oh ya a suggestion if posible....try making it so that it recompiles it and when you download you get the .classes if you want them.....and for armor sets do i need to make item .pngs and the actual armor that you see from 3rd person view?
did you fix the missile glitch yet?
na dif you dont do the comps you should make it so the missiles save the coords put in them so that you can put them in and launch anytime without putting the coords back in
most of my ideas are probably hard to code(but rewarding)...
and the computer 1 you might be able to ask the guy that made the computer mod for help or to borrow some of his code...
