    Alien Scouts
After detecting ships of similar design to the massive one that destroyed Kepler 22b, the Earth Alliance has ordered that all newly produced ships head to the Kepler 22 system in case of an invasion. There is talk of a preemptive attack, but it has not yet been authorized. Instead, a message has been sent to the system that the scouts came from.
"Attack and you will be destroyed, your ships may be more powerful than ours but we have millions of warships. We don't want a war, but we will fight for ourselves if provoked."

    Draconian Diplomacy
The Earth Alliance has hurriedly sent out a diplomatic fleet to the specified coordinates, but they all expect that the whole thing is just a trick to make it look like the Draconians care so they will have more obedient slaves.

posted a message on Interest Check: A New Beginning (Set in the Untold Empires universe)
150 years ago, Earth was ravaged by the great war. Civilizations collapsed as the superpowers scrambled to evacuate their citizens. However, many in Europe were left behind due to their government being unprepared. Those that the Europeans could get off world settled on the newly terraformed Mars, while the highly paranoid Antarctic Union sent a fleet down to rescue those they left behind. They refused to come to Mars, and the Antarctic Union left.
Decades later, ships were detected launching from Earth, millions of them. They wanted to unite humanity, but nobody wanted to give up their nationality to a bunch of people considered traitors by the most formidable power in humanity's reach. A war was fought, and the newly christened Alliance of Earth took over the Sol system. The former Europeans left for their colonies in the Sirius system, while the Antarctic Union retreated onto Kepler 22b and El Dorado, a mining colony. A hundred years later, those power superpowers joined together and retook the Sol system. Now, fifty years later, the nations are beginning to adapt the the war-ravaged solar system that is their home.

    A long time ago...
Ah, screw it. Really good roleplay went pop, that's what happened! This is an attempt to find out if anyone would be interested in turning it into a proper trilogy (that is, joining this roleplay). This would be a government roleplay in which you control an entire nation, and would be mainly an intermediate roleplay (hardcore will be accepted as well, but nitpicking over intermediates not writing a short story per post will not be tolerated). It is set in a universe created by roleplayers over the course of many years in previous roleplays, but no knowledge of those roleplays is required, just the history put into the possible IC. Because let's face it, if knowledge of those roleplays was needed, then only two people would join. That's not hyperbole, only two people remember the originals.

    Corvichon Contact
After a moment, the president responds.
"Our hackers have successfully retrieved your data, what you say appears to be true. Now, you have just happened to have stumbled upon the presidential fleet, me being the president of the Earth Alliance. Surely you can understand our suspicion. Anyways, I wish to greet your people in the name of the human species. I'm sorry if we frightened you at all, our first contact went badly and we don't want it to go badly for you. We just really really hate our enemy, it's a long story. Anyways, this fleet is pretty far from our space and nobody actually knows it's here. We're on a secret mission concerning the war, this is actually pretty close to enemy space. Strangely enough, this makes it the best place and time to make contact with your people. Just in case the enemy finds us, don't mention any religion of yours and don't say anything that could be interpereted as blasphemy. If you make sure to do that, we might not be killed."

    Sarkazjhit Situation
The Earth Alliance ships continue to stand by for Hach orders.

    Kepler 22b
The Earth Alliance ships begin to come back into the orbitals for repairs, and a message is broadcast outward.
"The attack has ended, the ship simply left without any reason. Any non-human ships in system should be either prepared for another attack or leave in case they come back. Oh, it would also be nice if you opened comms."

((I SPELLED SARKAZJHIT RIGHT! OH. MY. GOD.))

    Presidential Fleet Contact
The Earth Alliance ships have raised their shields, expecting a Sarkazjhit trick. In case the aliens didn't pick up the translation matrix, another message is sent with one.
"This is president Dmitri Saveli of the Earth Alliance. Identify relations with the Sarkazjhit immediately and submit to a computer systems search. I swear, if this is a lizard trick the Hach and Equestrians will know, and we will destroy your stupid superweapon."

    Pixie Diplomacy
"I am sorry, but I cannot accept the help of your soldiers. Under any other circumstance we would allow you to join the battle, but you are new to space and we are fighting a war that began due to a religious crusade. Please don't take this as an insult to your people, it's the law. I would personally be happy to let you help us, but I'm not above the law. However, we will most certainly accept your trade agreement."

    Sarkazjhit Diplomacy/War
The Earth Alliance has asked for orders from the Hach relating to the Sarkazjhit.

    Attack on Kepler 22b
The MAD beam hits the watery surface of Kepler 22b, and the entire surface is disintegrated along with the millions of aquatic species that lived on the world. Patrol and attack ships are dispatched from all of the orbital platforms, and huge missile barrages are fired at the alien ship. FPPC rounds smash into the enemy shields as the attack ships close in, firing laser cannons. The patrol ships begin firing their quad nuclear-armed railguns towards the enemy ship, causing massive flashes of light on it's shields. One of the orbitals launches a mail pod back to Earth, and then transmits a message to the massive starship.
"You will be remembered as what you are. First you say that you won't bother us, and then you come and decide to wipe out our species! Even humanity is superior to you!"
Along with that message, a distress call is sent out. No EA ship will answer it though, as far as they care, the Hach are the most important right now due to the religious war.

    Quote from Habanero

    Unfortunately, yes.

Stephen Hawking has that as well, his prognosis says that he should have died decades ago. Now he's on top of the world. You never know what will happen, in your case, the only time there's no hope is when you're dead. I hope that you lose your hope multiple decades from now instead of one.

    Sarkazjhit War
The supply ships have arrived, carrying the long-range missiles and antimatter production accelerators. A few have brought assembly nanobots to assist in the production of more ships, both Hach and Earth Alliance. More ships are warping into the system every day, fresh off coreworld production lines. Designs for the FPPC has been sent to the Hach, which will allow their ships to destroy enemy hulls with just a few quick shots without losing too much anti-shield effectiveness. Some of the latest ships are being equipped with four large railguns that fire antimatter missiles, to combat shields more effectively. However, due to the massive power requirements such ships can run out of ammo for their FPPCs much faster, as such the FPPCs are considered secondary weapons on such ships.

    Presidential Scout Fleet, Unknown Contact
The Presidential Scout Fleet found itself interrupted by aliens while observing a new planet for a top secret project. Weapons on all ships have been prepared and warp drives are standing by for a quick escape. Dmitri has ordered a translation matrix prepared and a channel to be opened.
"I am President Dmitri Saveli of the Earth Alliance, identify your species and identify your relation with the Sarkazjhit people immediately. Cooperation with the Sarkazjhit will be punished through the use of the weaponry equipped on this fleet."

    Sarkazjhit Diplomacy
The Earth Alliance has sent a message to the Sarkazjhit.
"We do not trust you in the slightest, if the Hach agree to go then we will accept their decisions. However, if a diplomat is sent and anything happens to them, then the war will continue as per our plans. We will note, however, that your superweapon is nothing compared to the combined might of the Hach, Equestrians, and Earth Alliance."

((Human update: The Earth Alliance has entered hulk levels of rage over a religious war and is now attempting to match the enemy's long range railgun nuke thing. Also, capitalist terrorists have decided to blow stuff up.))

    Terrorist Attack
Earth Alliance intelligence has searched all records and found no evidence of a lizard attack, in fact, all evidence points towards a threat from within. This was unexpected, as humans in the EA are thought to be completely loyal to the doctrine. Random searches have begun on Earth, and the entire planet is under quarantine. nobody can leave aside from officially recognized foreign officials and Earth Alliance military/government workers.

    Sarkazjhit War
Earth Alliance ships have begun taking defensive positions in Hach space, waiting for new warp-equipped missiles to arrive via transport. Meanwhile, more and more "threats in film form" (AKA: Propaganda) are being transmitted to enemy space. Most of these consist of the usual dead planet from orbit with EA ships firing down on it, but one of them is different. It shows a very well rendered Sarkazjhit in a white room looking out into space, bound to a chair. Then the apparent window looking into space opens up, revealing the room to be an airlock. The Sarkazjhit and the chair he is bound to are shot out into space, and the screen dims as per the usual ending until it is entirely black. A message then appears on the screen in the language of the Sarkazjhit.
"Your religious leaders will all meet this fate."

    Hach Cultural Exchange
The EA has agreed to the Hach exchange proposal, and has begun transmitting all their historical and cultural data.

I would flat-out say no. We're close enough to FTL and nanobots could have the same effect as a multi-substance 3D printer. If you think about it, we don't actually need the laws of physics changed. We can find loopholes ourselves, no god required.

I don't know what it is, but whenever I am physically active beyond my norm for longer than a couple minutes my nose is almost completely obstructed and it becomes horrifically runny. Exercising for me is absolutely horrible, and I most definitely won't have the willpower to overcome the horrible feeling of snot dripping down my chest and not being able to breath through my nose. If something like what you describe was put in place, I would have even less of a future than what I have right now. I would never be able to learn anything else because of physical requirements. Quite frankly, suicide would actually be the best option for me at that point.
