If a zombie cow man sees a cow it hits it and creates a cow warrior, which will fight anything but any other cow warriors or other zombie cow men. You can tell if a cow is a cow or a cow warrior because it is half skeleton, and zombie cow men look like zombie pig men, but they are a cow and they have a wooden sword that deals knockback.
