    I understand you can change the 'height limit' in Zeppelin's cfg file, but with vanilla worlds. The world height is 128? (forgive me if I'm wrong) and the config is limited to 128 because the world y limit is prevent more blocks from being placed if you get what I mean, Zeppelin will not be able to move the craft upwards beyond the limit. I was warned about increasing the figure because I might run into issues/crashes or even corruption to the save file. And it's safer to just use Cubic Chunks.

    Anyway. I guess I'll wait for the 1.8 release before I tinker with it. Great response, cleared issues up for me because I was abit confused with the OP to start with. Thanks!

    I understand there isn't a version for 1.8 just yet. Assuming I just want to use Cubic Chunks, and maybe want abit of extra terrain generation, up to a certain height, and also increase the *sky roof limit*, so I can fly (with the Zeppelin mod) above said terrain generation. How do I go about doing that?

    Heck, what if I only want to push the sky's limit so I can build/fly higher (with Zeppelin, because flying is capped out because your craft cannot exceed the build height limit)?

    Your best bet is to probably have the smaller craft sitting on top of redstone wires, pressure plates, trapdoors or what not, since it's included in the detection but does not chain. And then have an actual block, like stone or something to link the small craft to the main craft. When you want to fly your small craft, main craft has to be deactivated, and you will have to remove it's anchor (the stone block) and you should be able to fly the small one independently.

    Just an idea, will be testing this out myself later. :tongue.gif:

    Is there a sizing chart for Tiers 1 through 4?

    And how do we orientate our towns? (Say for example I decide to build on a cliff, would be hilarious if the entrance was facing a huge drop)

    And also where does the town expand from? (Back, sides, expands northwards and westwards?)



    I am assuming that we should not build our own structures within the town because of future tier upgrading? (Structures disappear etc)


    Side note: I also use Zeppelin and BTW mods. I can't wait to traverse the lands in my airship with my band of heroes! Lol

    I'm attempting to make my ship disappear/duplicate on a seperate save. My best attempt so far was just coming back to a ship that lost about 20 odd blocks in the rear. No idea what happened, no crash report, no nothing. :S

    YES!!!! I found optifine yesterday. What an unbelievable difference! I went from about 5 fps to 30-40 fps. I can actually tell what I'm doing in real time now!!! No more walking off walls and placing 5 times as many blocks I wanted to!

    I'm pretty sure that's what I may have secretly meant. Stupid forum codes replaced it with milder text!

    I still need a bitchin' system to rock this ship with minimal lag but oh my god I'm flyyyyying.

    Next project: Airship carrier + functional deployable mini airboats!

    I've still yet to come across the cloning issue, my ship's almost 2k blocks, lags when I fly it but OptiFine(multithread) helps significantly.

    Now that my ship is done I need to look for a nice hill to build a home port! :biggrin.gif:

    Pardon me, have a little problem with the 'tips and tricks' part. Everything went well, everything works. Except that in Singleplayer mode, it doesn't show my list of worlds/saves. What in the CMD is interefering with it?

    Scratch that, fixed it, terrible noobfail on my part.

    Blocks can't be placed above y = 128. There is also a bug that entities don't collide above 128. If you want, you can set it to anything you want. But you will fall through the craft when you reach height 128.

    I suggest you to use Cubic Chunks mod. It allows to make maps of almost infinite height.

    I guess I'll stick with 128 for now, maybe install Cubic Chunks sometime during 1.9 or release.

    Suggestion: Integrate Cubic Chunk's height limiter into Zeppelin? *hint hint* :tongue.gif:

    Edit: Forgive my lesser mind, height map is set when the map is generated. Whoopsie. :tongue.gif:

    I believe the chest and sign issue were fixed in 0.16 or earlier, updated during 1.8. You should update, unless you require some mods to work that haven't been updated for 1.8. :/
