    The game is crashing randomly whenever I enter or exit fullscreen mode, with Antialiasing and Anisotrophic Filtering enabled. I'm using HD D5 on Minecraft 1.8.7, here is the relevant log info (more if asked) as there is a lot more to add

    Very odd, I'm not getting much of an FPS increase even with the best settings on optifine for 1.7.2.
    I normally got around 20-30 but I now get around 22-30 which isn't all too great. I'm going to wait for it to be completed before I give my final judgement, I'll also try it on my Windows distro because I'm currently running it from linux.

The modding community such as the guys that make MCP have to reverse engineer the code since it is unreadable and test until they can get MCP to work with both old and new features of the latest build.     Bewilderingly, it seems that Mojang intentionally makes things difficult on the modding community they otherwise seem to embrace by releasing obsfucated code. Again I bet that there is a good reason for this, but it escapes my layman's grasp.

    If they're obsfucating to prevent someone from viewing/stealing their code, isn't that sort of happening anyway with the reverse engineering for modding or is there (most likely) a huge piece that I am missing or vastly oversimplifying?

    I ask this not to troll or hate on anyone but out of curiosity and boredom.

    When they "reverse engineer" the code they don't exactly restore the code to what is actually looks like, just a decent look so that the developers can make mods. Basically, it allows the programmers to get a decent look at what each line does that tells them what it does, and then create their own code.

    Basically, if something originally said mobModel in the source it might say field_769_d instead when decompiled so that no one truly has the correct source, it would take weeks of work to reverse everything and get a true source.

    This is what I understand of it, although the truth may be different.

    Something really unfortunate happened when I was playing Edge Of the Unknown, in smooth crater, after I threw the ender pearl randomly to leave I hit one of the path support columns and died instantly, I didn't know where I died to I lost all of my stuff, perhaps if your still updating the map you could add water pools surrounding the support columns?

    It happens about 2 minutes into the video.

    It was originally thought that the human eye could not distinguish past 12 FPS, this however, keeps getting disproven as the frames go up.
