Is there a mod that gives a tool like the 'This for That' focus?
That's my main draw to this mod.
Edit:
I don't care about passing the torch. I would like him to open up TC5 and have a group upkeep it for newer versions of Minecraft. I don't need new things because TC5 is no where near burned out for me. I doubt it would be for quite some time. I just don't want to be locked in an aging version of Minecraft for a single mod. Especially when every other mod is updating.
For a while I wanted to suggest that TC3, TC4, and TC5 sources be dumped into a git for up keeping by the community while we wait for the next installment. However since Azanor was using Patreon, I figured it would be a no-go.
I do hope that at least TC5 finds its way into a git. I'm on 1.11 and I want to keep moving forward. TC is a huge mod, and the only one I bother to use when it's available.
I've been learning to write mods and I think a source like TC would provide a wealth of training materials, so I'd defiantly hit that git. I'm no where near the level of maintaining it, but I'm sure quite a few devs would pick it up. Plus Azanor could still retain control.
How hard would it be to code a tool that simply takes a pre selected block(s) from inventory and swaps it in place of a targeted block(s)?
Thaumcraft had a tool for this, but it's looking like it's not going to see a 1.10 release any time soon. I consider this the ultimate tool since it can allow the swapping of blocks without removing entities. Bonus if I can get it to mass replace blocks facing air blocks.
If someone has created a simple mod for this function, I would like to know what it's called.
If not, I think it's about time I started learning a bit about Java. I've programmed in C, C++, and .NET as well as web languages so it shouldn't be too much of a jump to modding; I say in bliss ignorance.
So, does this mod/tool already exist outside of Thaumcraft?
Something I've always wanted was a device that would cause the ground to fall. Like if there were any caves. The whole thing would collapse down in an area of effect.
I recently move to 1.8 mainly so I could define ore/cave spawn. I was languishing in mod hell with 50+ installed in 1.7.10. I've been playing vanilla for the last two weeks and I can honestly say the only mod I really miss is Thaumcraft. Gold has no real use now; besides rails and clocks of course.. I'm not an ore double fan, preferring to have twice the amount of iron in the ground instead of machines to do it for me.
Knowing that a TC5 1.8 is in the works makes me happy. I think besides some some hud mods, it'll be the only one I use.
I built walls around a village and I expect spiders to clime over it. So a spider comes over it and I noticed that it was carrying a package. A Creeper was riding a spider! All the explosive potential of a creeper with the speed and climbing abilities of a spider.
I can't think of a way that screenshot is wrong. The only 2 reasons that i can think of are
1) you are trying to solve an already completed research
2) bug.
I'm able to do the research on a new world, but my server world that I added Thaumcraft to isn't taking it.

If not on the same network, can the Windows 10 version of Minecraft play with the XBox One version without realms?
Is there a way to install the Windows 10 version of Minecraft on Windows Server 2016?

Is there a mailing list for this mod?

Maybe it doesn't work on arcane stone or other magical artifact?

Turbo Bump, hoping this topic is watched by it's creator.

It kamikaze me before I could screen shot it.

I set the server side to regenerate the terrain, then after running it once I deleted the file. Both sides are using vanilla configs.

Edit:
I'm having a problem with the font, it looks terrible and I'm assuming I've done something wrong.
