    Do NOT USE THE PORT!!! It is not worth the desperation. It has all of the old issues that Flam left the original mod with. The magical pterosaur for instance. And the port was modified so that the dinos spawn naturally in the tropicraft dimension. It lacks features upon features.

    Actually Atlanticcraft and I talked over skype about the usage of this mod. For the map that we built, they will use this mod.

    89 mods please move stuff about your own to your very own thread. This is an issue for several reasons.
    1. It's the same basic mod
    2. it's made by using mccreator
    3. You're not part of the team, so you can't post your own mod here
    4. It's essentially a challenge to the team(they might not view at as such)
    5. You posted the same pictures on this thread before saying that you'll be done faster and have a better mod

    There are currently 3 F&A mods out on the forums. Go see if you can join one of the 3 teams. I will not state what the names are, but go find them (one of them is Revival). I seriously do not see the need for a 4th F&A mod right now.

No offence to him but I think he won't be able to pull off things like electrical wires and magic infusion easily. Not to mention he has a job that takes a lot of his time and everyone can get bored of coding all day, so he needs some time to unwind, and that leaves a pretty small portion of time for coding. Frankly, we could use some help (as I said in another post) and some more free time on our hands.

    P.S: I have 17 or so textbook pages full of fun and technic-y features so we have our fare share of stuffs we can do for automation.


    I can really relate to that. I'm learning java in my high school and coding is extremely boring and can even get rather frustrating. I have coded some ai before. But I nearly chucked my comp several times at the wall.

    Dinosaur = Reptile

    *facepalm.....Dinosaurs are not reptiles =___=. Dinosaurs are scaly, oversized, flightless birds. Pterodactyls, mosasaurs, plesiosaurs, and other non-dinosaurian creatures are reptiles. There's a reason as to why there are categories such as ornithischian and non-ornithischian. Ornith- means bird. Although many theropods are classified as non-ornithschian, they are still the ancestors of birds. Their pelvic girdle is slightly different than that of a bird.

    That maybe difficult to pull off. But I guess it might be similar to how the chests change texture and turn into christmas gift boxes during the winter holiday season. That will be a future feature, not for the first couple releases.

    guys instead of new ideas how about we scout coders to help Davey? If Davey gets more help he'll be able to get the update out faster and we can play with the foxes and butterflies if we find him coders. How does that sound?

    We were discussing the re-port by Team July(the original creators of the F&A mod) and the subsequent port by Cannibalvox for the technic modpack "attack of the b-team" of the original version of this mod. And how the re-ported and ported version was modified so that the dinos would naturally spawn in the tropicraft dimension and made the ported version so that it had to have tropicraft installed alongside it in order to work.
