    Never mind, found the mod that was causing that. However, even after updating to java 8, my minecraft with optifine STILL lags. It takes extremely long to load worlds. I have been waiting for 15 minutes and it still has not loaded.

    Hello people, I've been having this problem ever since minecraft 1.4.2 and so I decided to stop using this mod and it seemed to fix this problem. However, with my minecraft getting more laggy, I decided I needed to fix the lag with OptiFine.

    Minecraft lags with optifine both when loading a world, and when the world is loaded.

    Can someone offer an explanation and what I can do to fix it?

    There is a problem with the rolling machine.

    TO power a rolling machine, I need a steam boiler bla bla bla and the low pressure and high pressure boiler requires iron/steel plates to craft. However, to craft that, you need the rolling machine, and since I can't power it because I don't have a steam boiler, so I can't use the rolling machine.

    Please fix this.

    I know that it's COMPATIBLE with this mod, I was asking if the poison effects would still work on extrabiomesxl depending on the biome. For example, water from marshes are just as poisonous as water from swamps.

    Edit: If you don't mind, I would like if you made this work the same way it did with vanilla biomes.

    Yes, I know that makes about as much sense as "General Protection Fault", but I'll help you out here.
    We know from "lineNumber: 1; columnNumber: 3;" that the error is on the first line.
    It might be a typo, or an XML element (that is one of those "<something> </something>" bits) that it doesn't understand (I.e. the "not well formed" error).

    If you cannot see something wrong, you can post it here and I will try and help you.


    No need, I solved my own problem by downgrading and using my old config. Thanks for trying to help though.


    Is there a way to disable ores generated by mods so you can use your own version of ore generation or does it already do it for you?

    Found and fixed the error in the lava obsidiroid spawns.

    Still can't figure out why coal doesn't spawn in the obsidiroids, though I might have an idea.

    Found why coal didn't spawn.

    Okay, in hindsight this should have been fairly obvious...

    Coal didn't spawn (and other ores had lower than expected numbers) due to the fact that the clouds all share the same seed (as well as other parameters). This means that the clouds with the same radius (and same frequency since that is needed to make them share the same center point for the obsidiroid), would try and place the ores in the same positions, even if they had different ore densities.
    I.e. An ore density of 0.2 would pick all the spots a density of 0.3 would pick, though the 0.3 one would have picked more overall.
    As such, with me trying to spawn coal after iron, with a lower density, it tried to pick all the spots occupied by iron, and thus replaced nothing.

    Problem fixed by making the densities cumulative (i.e. if I want 30% iron and 20% coal, I make iron denisty=0.3 and coal density=0.5 (of which the first 0.3 overlaps the iron and thus never gets placed).
    In short, if you make distributions share the same seeds and the same motherlode frequencies, watch out for overlaps.
