If you run the rubber wood through an IC2 Extractor it makes the AE2 rubber. I have a tree farm made with Minefactory Reloaded and I'm over 59k AE2 rubber at the moment.

As much as I love this mod, I'm only going to use it sparingly from now on (and never using the power cables). If I use too many items (over 20) from this mod it completely chokes my MC performance. I normally average 50+ FPS but dropped to 1 - 5 FPS with average use of the items this mod offers. Until the code is optimized a bit more.

Yes. If a mod uses non-standard ways to define it's blocks, the only thing that could be done is add mod-specific support for these blocks. I'm not doing that.

You used to allow using ID#s before didn't you? Did something change in the MC coding that won't allow that method any more?

Purely a noob question about this, the method of just tossing into water, is it several hours of in-game hours, or real hours?

If you use just a puddle of water, it takes hours in real time. Better to craft the crystal growth accelerators. You can automate the process. I show how in my video that I have liked a few times now.

I cover autocrafting the crystals in my video:

Just jump about half way through to get to it.I think the idea is that the crystals are supposed to grow due to an electrolytic process.

I tried and this is what i got
i just don't know what I'm doing wrong but thx for trying to help :)

You are using the wrong dust type. It's certus quartz dust you want to use, not fluix. This will get you the Quartz fiber. You then use the fiber with 2 whole fluix crystals (not dust) to make the glass cable.

I know that AE2 crafting is different, as about everything in AE2. I think I watched that video, and I got autocrafting sorted somebit. I now am just finding out how to autocraft inscribing.

You can try Tallenn's method or you can try mine. I made a video and it's a pretty simple setup in my opinion. Uses the least amount of channels and does not rely on any other mods to make the autocrafting work.

posted a message on Inventory Tweaks 1.61 (Jul 11)
Before I go and start messing with the invtweakstree.txt I want to ask this question because with 100+ mods loading it takes forever to load in. If I put other mod info into the <block> section does it add that block to the auto refill feature? I'm kinda tired of placing basalt bricks and it getting refilled with marble bricks. If it does work, then has anyone successfully added blocks from other mods? I'm guessing I'll have to use the block ID # because it has an extremely non standard name "ProjRed|Exploration:projred.exploration.stone" with damage values to identify different blocks. For example, basalt bricks have been assigned the ID# 888:4 while marble bricks are 888:1

If anyone has gotten this to work, please post the code snippet that you used please.

The recipe for the Tank Pressure Outlet is creating Tank Pressure Inlet blocks, acting kind of like a shapeless recipe. Only way I can get the TPO is to craft a TPI then convert the TPI into a TPO.

5 - you speak of the crystal auto craft? if yes, the formation plane and the Annihilation Plane are all you need to auto craft it dont really need other mod, it can just make it faster by removing 1 of the face to place another crystal accelerator

I made a video on such a system for people that needed help with it.

Personally I like the fact that you have to think about AE builds now. Creates a bit of challenge. You just need to get creative. Don't just look for obvious parts to stick together, utilize sub networks and you can do more. A few posts back shows 2 of my automation builds for processors, fluix crystals and pure crystals. I now have a basement to house my cables and double walls with a walkway in between for my structures to accommodate the cables I need to lay out. If you don't like that idea, then there's always facades to disguise your cables as whatever block you desire.

Figured out that the ME controller is limited to a 7 block cube. But also figured out that it doesn't need to be solid. Came up with this configuration to maximize the useable interface surfaces because the greyed out blocks do not conduct.

Setting up my molecular chambers, I could have 5 faces with interfaces but I like having one side viewable. I don't understand why you think you need 2 sides unusable.Using a subsystem to set up a TE induction smelter reducing the channels needed by the main system from 3 to 2.Took a bit but I figured out autocrafting for fluix crystals and pure crystals. And here's a look at my basementTo follow in your footsteps I'll probably be far too honest myself. It's complaints and QQing like you did that have driven Algo off the project. He made a complex system that benefits and adds so much to the game. I, for one, appreciate everything he has done. Sure, AE2 is much different from the original but I like it much more. Just takes a little more thought.

I'm thinking you can do this one of two ways (or both I guess). If you have multiple formatted cells, insert them into an ME Drive and in the upper right of the device GUI is the priority setting. Items will go to the highest priority storage device first. If you only have one cell you can do the same with an ME Chest.

The biggest issue I'm finding is that these filters need to be put in pretty early on, because items that are already in the network won't automatically move to the cell you have that item filtered to. It has to be removed, then re-inserted. This can lead to some pretty wicked "disk fragmentation" that's honestly a major pain to clean up.

Nope. There's an easier way. Just format the cell with the items you want. Then make an ME IO Port. Place the formatted cell into the IO and all those items in your system get transferred to the new cell. Just make sure you press the GUI button to switch to FROM system TO cell.
