Thanks. My mate is going to give it a go today. He said he might use your first example. We have 4 locations we are doing and he said that is a lot of command blocks lol.
To give you an idea what were doing (mixing this with modded Minecraft).
Player at spawn go to the startgate and uses Open Computers to pick one of 4 destinations. Sort like pick one of 4 outposts. Then the user travel's to the outpost but instead they actually travel 30 blocks away to a special say North East gate and it's dark and the command blocks instantly spread them to a new locations. Once this happens there will be some sort of message in chat will try to add where it will say something like there seems to be a gate malfunction and we seem to been randomly placed in the North East quadrant of the planet. From there it also becomes their spawn so when they die they always start in the same spot to abuse people who die 100 times just to get closer to their friends.
Just a fun idea anyways

I like to have players start out in our protected spawn then go to a pressure plate or near the command block it does not matter. Then when they go to it does a spread of the player say between 500-3500 out and also sets that location as their spawnpoint.
The point?
I don't want the player to use spawn again especially to kill themselves to be able to randomly teleport a 2nd, 3rd, etc time.

You just click multiplayer and add the server ip:port to the list and boom you can connect. We find more complex modpacks and the right protection system on the server we can open them up without the need of a whitelist.

What kind of pack is this?
This pack is like Infinity Expert in some ways but with more of a GregTech New Horizons Progression to the Pack. You have 15 Ages starting from 0 all the way to 14. You start from the Stone age and slowly work your way to the creative age as time goes on.
How do I get whitelisted?
THERE IS NO WHITELIST JUST JOIN AND HAVE FUN!
More Information:
WARNING: Due to a server side bug you should and need to use /sethome. This way when you die you will end up at your /sethome location. If not you might end up at spawn and we take no responsibilities for this action. Please note /sethome normally will override the bed but best to try both methods.

Any chance whoever is maintaining this can fix this in 1.10.2? It's quite distracting and annoying. I also don't see off hand item count maybe it's time to move on?

So I'm having a hell of an issue with your mod lol.
I have the following for 1.10.2:
GeographiCraft-1.9.4-0.7.6.jar
ForgeAmidst-1.9.4-1.4.1.jar
RTG-1.10.2-4.1.2.4.jar
I tried changing config settings via:
GeographiCraft\geographicraft.cfg
I changed the act as if CC was disabled then I set the terrain to be one super continent further down etc.
Pretty much Everything and anything I do I don't get a decent world. I sort of wanted basic RTG and ForgeAmidst so I could get a decent spawn seed at the main Menu but ForgeAmidst Has all these missing biomes issues without GeographiCraft being included. But with GeographiCraft Included my worlds pretty much fracked up lol.

Sadly it does not work with more then mod I'm using the liteloader anyways. I was hanging on load who knows who is at fault but of course the cachetweaker is also important for my large pack. Dammit killjoy why could we not have forge builds. You know more of us for a fact would been using the mod

What is the ore/dust for?
In JEI shows no uses.

Is pam not in control of her own mod anymore? I thought she was a strong capable women. I assume she has self respect and her own mod who like to fix it on a major version. When you got big name devs pointing out issues with the generation and then even offering the fixes and then no one has access to the latest sources and such I feel github is the last place for this sort of chat.

When will wee see a backport for chunk issues / generation for 1.10. I normally say sure that is life things get enhanced as times goes on but I did report this bug in details 6 months ago:

Love to see a proper fix for 1.10 users who are sticking to 1.10 for a long time because many big devs are skipping 1.11 for 1.12 where I assume everyone will join back up at.
