    posted a message on M-Ore 8.1

OH MY WORD! This mod is almost perfect! It generates all most all the ores that multiple mods do so I can turn those off! One thing that it is missing though -_- missing lead.....Any chance we may see this in the near future? If so, it would be awesome!

posted a message on Better Questing - A new and improved questing mod for pack creators [1.7.10, 1.10.2, 1.11.2]

Perhaps I over looked it in my scan through, but is there a chance that this questing pack could spawn and detect "NPCs" made from the new armor stands? I have seen some really cool things done with the armor stands, and it would be really cool if we could use them to make NPCs that can assign quest that only spawn in say a Desert Temple. This would give it a huge edge over HQM in my eyes. Either way, eager to see what some clever mod pack designers will be doing with this!

posted a message on Mod noob. Help please.

Since noone has mentioned it, I feel I should mention my favorite mod pack launcher. It is called ATLauncher and can be found at www.ATLauncher.com. The mod pack I have gotten the most time out of is on there. Its called Sky Factory. It is created by bacon_donut on twitch (He is a very kid friendly streamer btw, though some times he has guest who are.....less so.....LOOKING AT YOU SEV!) It is a nice simple modpack where you start with nothing but a block of dirt and a tree. But if you follow the steps in the Achievement book, and do a little bit of research, there is no end to the things you can create! You can even ride a dragon! Down side is that it is 1.7.10. Something happened with 1.8 that upset a lot of mod makers, so they boycotted it. And 1.9 is so new, that there isn't even a stable release of forge (The API for mods, think of it is a coding dialect for programmers using java) I don't think anyone has a "stable" mod pack yet. But Feed The Beast will probably have one before ATLauncher. There are some who will steer you away from Technic because of "Drama which should not be named". But hey, welcome to the Wonderful World of Moding! And remember, Minecraft isn't just for kids! It is just a brilliant market to target with iconic mobs like Creepers and Enderman. Don't be afraid to get drawn in to the game and enjoy it with your daughter. I am in my late 20s, and 7 states away from my family. It is one of the few things that we can all get online and do without anyone arguing! I recommend it as a great family bonding game!

I absolutely LOVE this mod, but as of Forge version 12.16.0.1807, I haven't been able to use it at all since it crashes my game at startup. I made sure to use the latest version, too... Has this happened to anyone else?

I had the same crash with the latest version of forge and the Xaeros minimap...forge itself loaded fine without the minimap mod

And older version of forge still works with the minimap

Ah yeah that's what I meant, it being impractical in the long run. I was working on a mod back in 1.25 - 1.7 days but was never really able to get it to the point where I liked it because of how much source code I needed to change to get it to work. Forge was pretty new back then still and didn't really have the hooks or access to the code I wanted, made it really difficult to use for what I wanted. Plus there was a lot more frequent updates back then, made it hell to try to keep everything updated.

I still remember before any mod loaders where big and you had to manually jar mod! That sucked! I played Millinare and nothing else. Wasn't worth working through the conflicts. Then Magic Launcher came and changed my life! Now I use multiMC....Beautiful piece of software that!

Hello! First off, I want to say I really like this mod! Its nice to see some smaller things added to the white space of the MC over world.

That being said, I have found a bug! Alas in 1.9, when I equip either a sword or torch in mine off hand, it doth crash the client :(. Here is a crash log for you! http://paste.ee/p/gXpav Once this is fixed, I will be thrilled to continue using it!

In case anyone else makes the same mistake I did, the LomLib download link at the top of the curseforge page, is for the 1.7.10 version, you have to go to files, and select the 1.8 version.

Please put the dependency information and link in the first post. It was quite annoying figuring out which mod was crashing me because of a dependency I had never heard of. For anyone who may follow, here is the link to the dependency: http://www.curse.com/mc-mods/minecraft/229595-mattdahepic-core

Sure, here you go http://paste.ee/p/KRzD6 didn't think of checking logs. I am not good at reading them either...if you notice any other issues, let me know. BTW, this is for a private in house lan server. If anyone is wondering. The log is from the client. I figure if I can fix the client, I can fix the server

I have read the last 4 pages, so if this is a repeat issue, I apologize. I have put the beta of the 1.7.10 version in to my multiMC under Loader Mods. It appears not to be loading when I run the instance. Is there something that I am missing? I am using forge version 10.13.2.1258. I will be happy to provide more information if needed.

posted a message on [1.7.10] vanilla server cant keep up
I was thinking the 1.x ghz CPU should not be the issue because it is quad core, and because it isn't even using a 3rd of the processing power. Please let me know if I am mistaken in thinking so.

    The hard drive is 5400rpm

posted a message on [1.7.10] vanilla server cant keep up
Details of the server listed bellow:
4 gigs of ram allocated and processor is 1.Something-Or-Other ghz quad core. GUI says around 96% of ram is free, task manager says no more then 30% cpu usage, nothing else is listing even 1% of cpu usage. 4 players at most. Loosing as many as 2000 ticks for no apparent reason when we have more than one player on.

Why is my server saying it can't keep up. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.
