It's animated, so yes. Wanna annoy an anime fan? When they start talking about their favorite show, say "yea that's a pretty good cartoon" lol.
Either that or respond with Avatar: The Last Airbender when they ask you what your favorite anime is for a great debate that the entire family can enjoy.
It's produced in Japan, so yes it is a "real anime". Anime by definition, to a person who isn't from Japan, is any animation that is produced in Japan or has a Japanese-styled animation; but to someone from Japan the term 'anime' refers to just animation in general, regardless of where it is from. The Pokemon show fits both definitions of anime regardless of which definition you go by, and your own personal opinion doesn't factor into what is considered real anime and what isn't.
Hey chat thread. I know you guys love MIDIs, nightcore, and dead memes.... so I found a video just for you guys that I know you'll love oh so much that you'll want it to be the national anthem for our small corner of the forum.
What pokemon are you guys going to use in SM? I'm thinking of catching mimikyu, lurantis, vulpix, and exeggcutor so far.
Currently I'm going to be using Rowlet, Mimikyu, Mudsdale, and possibly Minior. I was going to choose Litten at first but I really don't like his leaked final evolution, so I'm going with Huntress Wizard birb instead.
Definitely going to shiny hunt for the majority of the Pokemon revealed so far as well, and my first goal is going to be to hatch a shiny Mimikyu as early as I can start breeding for them.
They would strip the Earth of its resources until it is hollow, build colonies on our planet, and inject gemstones into the ground to produce more of their own kind.
That feeling when you successfully catch a shiny Cobalion after it keeps OHKO'ing your Smeargle with +6 Attack Sacred Sword with it having only 8PP across all of its moves left. Seriously need to rethink my strategy with shiny Virizion and Terrakion though, might put Haze on my Smeargle so I don't blow through turns having to use Max Revives over and over again.
Why are Alolan forms ice type when it's on a tropical island?
Whatever by the looks of it the "soar" feature thing from ORAS might be the regular flying now which is both exciting and worrying.
One of the islands has a snow-covered peak, which I assume is where we will be able to find the new Vulpix and Sandshrew forms. Also I think it is safe to assume that what we saw is just a small taste of what the Alola has in store for us and that not every single new form is going to be Ice-type, otherwise Exeggutor would also be part Ice-type.
Or we could not, since bringing up Pluto is bound to cause some debates and I don't wanna use my brain.

Even though I doubt we are getting new eeveelutions as well... Umbreon and Espeon came out one generation after the original eeveelutions.

I touched it about 2 or 3 times in the past year but never really sunk a lot of time into it in a long while.

I would recommend not using the Griseous Orb as a fish tank ornament. It does seem to have some odd connection with the Distortion World after all...

Birbs are pretty cool. Beetles are also pretty cool. But birb eat beetle... now I'm conflicted.
