posted a message on 1.19 or The Natures update( Focusing more on Tree generation)

That picture looks good, but if it is just focused on tree generation, then it would be a small update. Also, I think that pots will be added in 1.19 as one of the major features.

    Where's the source?

This is the source for it: This bug should be patched soon, although it hasn't been fixed in bedrock 1.17.10, and Java 1.17.1 isn't released as of this post. Maybe it will be fixed in 1.18, but if this is true, a lot of people might stick to early 1.17 snapshots and 1.16.5. As for Bedrock players, it might get bad fast, unless there is an easy way to access early 1.17 snapshots or 1.16.5. If this happens, then I don't know what Mojang is thinking.

It should probably be fixed in a minor 1.17 update, but maybe the next minor update will fix a lot of bugs and add some things to the game, so they want to wait until they can release more. But I feel like they should fix it soon.

Also, I am currently not sure if this bug applies to Java Edition.

This message was marked as spam but I have no idea why it was since I never sent this message before:

At first I was really hyped for 1.17. But now, since it was split into two updates a few months ago, I didn't like it as much. The update at first was going to be possibly the biggest major update, but now it adds much less. I was most excited for the new generation, which was removed and moved to 1.18. Also, Bedrock edition started to take almost an hour to load for me, which made it unplayable. But the only reasons why I still like the update a little bit, is because candle cakes and glow ink sacs. Glow inc sacs can make signs and item frames glow, which can look really nice, and make them glow, and candles cakes also look good, and can probably light up the area. Anyway, thats it from me.

EDIT: I have not played 1.17, but I have played 1.17 release candidate 2.

Everyone does, you can't progress in the game without diamonds or at least 1 diamond pickaxe, no diamonds means no obsidian, and no obsidian means no Nether portal.

I need durable tools to clear away lumpy terrain so I can get some builds done, you've seen my screenshots, you know the amount of area I've flattened using diamond shovels and pickaxes. I would hate to be forced to or be limited to using stone tools to get the job done as it would take 10x longer to finish the job.

imagine if mending enchantment received a drastic nerf, it is quite obvious why people are annoyed about the increased rarity of diamond ore and why it was brought up in several threads recently.

I'd not be surprised if a lot of people started leaving Minecraft because of Mojang's incompetence here, as they are ruining their own game.

You can use the water bucket trick, or find obsidian in generated chests. Also, if you want, you can open a seed with an end portal with all the ender eyes filled in, but that is kind of cheating. Also the diamond ore decrease is a bug. It should be patched in 1.17.1, according to Mojang.

But how though? I still don't get it.

The diamond rareness is only on Bedrock, and because diamonds were going to be more common in the Deep Dark biome, which was removed from development versions, but they forgot to add the normal diamond generation back for Bedrock. I think this was patched for Java, but I haven't checked yet.

posted a message on What should I expect from my cooked chicken farm?

Maybe the lava burns the chicken itself. Try making a chicken farm that uses fire, which are next to the chickens, on some netherrack. Then, make a redstone loop using redstone and repeaters, and a piston in front of it that pushes the chickens into the fire. I haven't tested this, but if the chicken can run out in time, out of the fire, then the chicken will die. I will test this out later today, and I will edit when I find out if this works. Note that this might not work, it is just a suggestion.

    clocks they are useless

Well, in caves you can tell if it will be night/day when you leave, and they look good as of 1.17.

    Ummm...... Dirt
It I useless... And can be broken down really easily
I play MCPE, so gravel is useful cause it can get you flint which with an iron ingot can get you flint and steel, the only way to detonate TNT.
I change my mind.... I choose sponge
Only in creative, only for decoration, and it has NO USE!
Lapis Lazuli is pretty bad, and so are those dang Cobwebs!

Also, dirt is good for stacking, as it can be broken easily with shovels. You can use dirt as a foundation and easily replace it with your desired block. Cobwebs can be used for traps, Lapis Lazuli can give enchants, and sponges can wipe away some water, so I don't agree. Also, since 1.9, you can get sponges from ocean monuments.

Lava, because with worldedit I once did /cyl 10 10 instead of /cyl dirt 10 10, an alas, I learned that lava block ID was 10. And I had a giant ball of lava to clean up. I hate lava!

Lava is good for traps, killing mobs, and can get you cooked meat from passive mobs, and baked potatoes from zombies as of 1.17. This is off-topic, but you can use /cyl air and then your desired spot.

Poisonous potatoes give really little food, are really ugly, and give poison. They aren't too rare when you set up a farm. 1/50 potatoes are poisonous, so if you set up a farm with 50 potatoes, there is a kind of big chance of getting one. Also, clocks are kind of useless, but as of 1.17, they look good. If you only count how useless it is, it probably is the dragon egg. But it looks kind of good and can show how skilled you are, because not that many people have defeated the ender dragon. For me, the most useless is coral. If you take them out of water, they die, and they have no use. When they are dead, they look really bad, too. Granite, diorite and andesite can be polished, so they can look good, so thats why I am not saying they are useless. Anyway that should be good enough.
