A bunch of my friends started playing it, so I tried the free version to see what the hype was all about. About 12 hours later I was still playing and I bought it.
No, INVEdit won't work for SMP since the save files that it edits are stored on the server, you also can't go to the Nether ATM, so you have to either have a mod or admin use mod powers to give you lava or find what you need underground. For your SP world I'd suggest either INVedit or going to the Nether.
Creative griefing is:
When you see a shitty dirt house with out even a door.
You start to change the walls to a nicer material, add two levels to the house, some nice windows and a backyard.
You add some fountains and makes some roads to the house.
Then you look at the player that built the first house and goes "lulz".
This is alright. What the OP had is just plain griefing.
1. Start a map
2. Use InvEdit to add obsidian, a diamond pick and a flint and tinder to your inventory.
3. Build a portal and go to the nether.
4. Tear down the portal using the diamond pick
5. Toss everything in your inventory into the nearest lava pool.
6. Fight Ghasts bare handed.
Bit of a problem with the new version. Norton SONAR is automatically deleting ssmci.scr every time I try to use the screen saver after installing. This didn't happen with 1.8, could it have something to do with it detecting fullscreen programs?
EDIT: I got it to work by going into system32 and using Norton file insight to manually tell Norton to trust it.
So, I listened to the songs on YouTube, and I've got to say I love the way this sounds. I'm downloading right now and I'll post my thoughts after listening to the whole album.
Whenever I try to use an overlay program (like Kubik or Minecraft GPS) or if another program puts some kind of overlay onto the screen (IM notifications, taskbar tooltips, etc.) instead of appearing normally they flash on and off like they're only being rendered every few times the screen refreshes. Oddly, the steam overlay still looks normal and this only happens directly over the Minecraft window.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so can anyone help?
Well, the only thing I could say to help is that creepers are 2 meters tall (6ft 6in in standard) so unless you have access to a large, professional printer, you'd probably be better off painting it instead of printing out the skin. If I were doing it I'd find the middle most green from the creeper's texture file and paint a base coat with that and then paint the other shades over that.

I used standard printer paper and super glue.
