Role-playing: Pretending to be a character that isn't yourself with their own moral values and/or believe systems living in their own universe apart from this one. The release from this world and being able to be something totally new in a virtual one is something I've always found extremely enjoyable.
Meta-gaming: This is really a brief summarization of what I've read on Wikipedia to be honest. I've never heard of these terms before I submitted my first application to this server and it's been a while so I had to refresh my memory. So basically my understanding of it is, is that you can't use real world knowledge to take advantage of something in an RP world. An example of this would be if there was a holy and powerful sword in one of the Lord of the Rings books and the book gave the location, meta-gaming would be if you used the location in the book to find said sword on the server.
Power-emoting: I got my understanding of this term off of a wow wikia. This seems to be doing an action that can't be stopped via an emote. An example of this would be "KSUspartan drank all of Tom's beer than burned down his bar" if I emoted in this manner Tom would have no way of stopping me. The proper way of doing that emote would be "KSUspartan attempts to steal and drink all of Tom's beer" and then Tom could respond with something like "Tom calls the authorities" then if I still wanted to burn down the house I could do something along the lines of "KSUspartan attempts to burn down Tom's house in a drunken rage, but in his alcohol induced stupor he trips and hits his head on a brick thus passing out waiting to be apprehended by the authorities". In this way Tom has a chance of stopping me and avoiding the problem vs. him not being able to do anything about it.

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): I am Togo Gamwich Halfling of the Vale and this is a brief journal of my life up to now. I had an average hobbit childhood, my parents are silly farmers living in their hobbit holes, we went to parties, harvested our crops, and ate delicious food. We would sometimes have parties in our modest hobbit hole and those were the best times of my life. Showing everyone around our home was so much fun. I always loved when I got to show our guests the pantry and they were amazed at how many delicious dishes my mother could make with just the wheat we grew in the front yard. She could make delicious sweet bread but our friends and family could never wait until dessert when she would put another one of her fabulous cakes on the table there would be gasps and salivating mouths everywhere you looked, it was amazing.
Since I have moved out of my parents hobbit hole I've been doing odd jobs here and there trying to safe up for a home to call my own. I'm not very good at saving the Minas I make though, it gets spent on mead the night after I earn at the very latest. Everyone also knows that know hobbit can come to a party empty handed so I spend some of my Minas on food to bring to parties also. I've recently been looking for an actual job so that I can make a more steady income to finally buy myself a place to call home.
Ambitions for the Future:[/b] I would like to create a large wheat farm so that I'll always have bread on the table and be able to buy a pint or two of the Vale's mead every once and a while. I would also love to work, manage, or even open a bar I love the parties that occur in the Vale's bars and would love to one day be the one catering to one of them.

Answer:If I noticed a dark-clothed figure going up to the Emperor's palace I would yell for the guards as loud as I could. As the figure is obviously up to no good and being a hobbit I wouldn't be able to stop them myself. Though I cannot think of any reason why I would be in the human's capital anyways unless I successfully opened up my bar and we had the best mead in all of Aegis. But I guess that is all besides the point anyways. If said figure realized I was yelling at the guards trying to get him apprehended and he turned to me, I would turn tale and run all the way back to the Vale and never return to the capital again unless their was a huge opportunity for profit involved.

Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage.Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?[/b]
Answer: Not sure what the armour and longsword is for, I would drop the cumbersome armor and hide the longsword that is much larger than I am and approach the men. I would try to offer them some free mead in exchange for the man's life. If they were to agree I would give them the mead and then help the old man back to the Vale where we would tend to him and offer him a couple pints of mead until he recovers. Once he recovers I would give him some Minas and let him go wherever he pleases or maybe he could even stay if it is okay with my fellow hobbits.

You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall.You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. Answer: I wouldn't ask for any items at first. I would ask him if he would like to take a trip to the local tavern and I'd buy him some mead. I would continue doing this for several nights, I'd talk with him and show him a hobbit's good time. We would do this regularly for around 7 days. Then I would tell him I would soon be returning to the Vale and ask him if he had any bread, wheat, seeds, or home decor for sale. I would make sure that I got the best price possible because we would have become good friends by this time.
Well I made a 12W18A server because I love vanilla servers but hate hackers. With the snapshots I get vanilla without hackers so put the snapshot .jar into your bin and get on! Ip:69.254.234.15
Ok, well like most people I have always loved the faction wars that the factions plugin brings to the table. However isn't it kind of boring knowing that every battle your like "Oooh, let's see what kind of sword this kid has then I might try to kill him". I like the fact that Balkon's weapon mod changes that (here is the link: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/211517-125-balkons-weaponmod-v86/ make sure to download the Preset Properties Packs with the All weapons setting). Now when you enter a battle you're like "Ok well he has a hammer in his hand I will take him out from range with my blow dart gun" You shoot him he pulls out a crossbow and you're screwed. I like the diversity it adds to battle, if you agree with me join EndieCraft.

Hello I am KSUspartan the owner of a new Hack/Mod server called EndieCraft. The server will be up tomorrow I put this thread up first because we will have a whitelist. Why a whitelist? Because we will be using mods the server will be Vanilla which means that hackers and griefers could ruin everyone else's experience, and nobody wants that right? So if you have not heard of this mod look it up on YouTube the Yogscast did a video on it. I know not everyone likes them but that wast the only people who have posted videos on this mod. The link to the thread will be in the description of the video. Now many people are like "1.2.3? I don't have a 1.2.3.jar" look it up on google, I know there are many programs out there where you can download any .jar from early alpha to the most recent snapshot. The rules are:
No Hacking
No Griefing
No asking for ranks on the server
No spamming chat
No xray
No advertising

I am sure many people have heard of the Hack/Mod mod (if not look up on YouTube) and I was thinking maybe I should make a server for it. If you guys want to see this happen let me know by either posting below or answering yes in the pole. This is a mod that the yogscast covered this will not be a server where hacking is allowed.

What can you do for the server (At least a paragraph): Ok, if you allow me to be an Admin Or Moderator on your server i'm sure you won't regret it. I can help build anything you ask me to, a spawn village, or just generally input with the server. I can give my ideas, on how to improve it but also what you should aim for in a server. My experience will be useful as being a past owner of several servers, I am able to multi-task and deal with the new players, help them out a little and introduce them to the server rules... I can also handle greifers, "hater" and spammers. I am very tolerant and I will give people a fair chance, let them argue their case (apart from greifing) insta-ban. I will jail/ban people when necessary. From past experiences on other servers I know what it is like to be banned/jailed unfairly and this is not what you want members of your server to feel like as it will give your server a negative reputation. I can advertise this at serveral places.
