Unfortunately i don't think an increase in players is practical, simply with how worlds are hosted. Lag increases significantly the more players join a game. Data being sent to host and back to player. The upload bandwidth is being shared between the guests. So you'd need an amazing internet connection. I've joined 8 player games where i've had to wait minutes for indvidual chunks to load. Completely unplayable. So 32 player games? I dread to think..
The only way around this would be with something like minecraft realms... cough cough hint hint
I second this man's terrible cold! lol
I wouldn't mind putting my money down on a monthly server rental fee for my console edition of minecraft. Having a living world that my friends and I all could work on, even while i'm at work or out socializing, would be amazing and would really be a great rallying point for this community as a whole!
4J and Microsoft, seriously, I'm holding out a big ol' wad of cash and asking you to take my money!
