posted a message on Warframe: The return of the Tenno. (Accepting)
This role play is about the Tenno. Some of you may know of these. For those of you who don't, I shall endeavor to explain.

The Tenno were originally a single man, who lived in the years 2000. He was infected with an early form of the Technocyte virus. This gave him enhanced abilities, and formed the basis of the Tenno culture. He realized the power of this virus, and destroyed it. His off spring inherited these abilities however, and formed a culture of military warriors and mercenaries.

Time passed, and they continued to fight, proving themselves to be masters of combat in all possible ways. Then one was captured by the current ruling body of Earth, and her blood and DNA brutally extracted. The Tenno attempted to rescue her, but were too late. The ruling body, an early form of the Grineer, had revived the Technocyte virus. But it was not a tool designed to enhance humans now. No, it was a weapon, one even it's creator's couldn't control. It infected tens of billions of humans, nearly destroying the human race. It took the combined efforts of the Tenno, the Grineer, and the Corpus, a small merchant company based on the moon, to destroy the virus.

The Tenno withdrew, taking time to lick their wounds and recover. They used the last remains of the Orokin tech, all but destroyed during the Great War as it came to be called, to leave the Sol system. They lived for many centuries, growing to the point that they were a culture of their own. The name Tenno came to mean the warriors, wielders of the Warframes. These warriors lived by a strict code, similar to the samurai.

They were not absent from the system for these centuries. They sent small ships, self sufficient, hidden, unknown, to observe the Sol system. These ships became the primary combat force of the Tenno, carrying one man armies.Over the years, they collected humans, both to keep their genetic line diverse enough to avoid in breeding, and to train. Very few made it through the training process, but those that did, are accepted and treated as brothers and sisters by all.

Then the Grineer, now an army of misshapen, horrible monstrosities from the centuries of cloning required to rebuild their population after the Great War, found the last remaining Orokin Tower, the Tenno's link to the Sol system.Fiercely afraid of anything not of them, the Grineer captured the tower, and set about destroying it, in addition to studying it. The Lotus, the leading force of the entire Tenno world, decided this could not stand.

It is a time of war.

The Grineer have found the Lotus, stationed in the last remaining Orokin Tower. The Corpus are attacking the Grineer on all fronts. The Technocyte Plague has resurfaced, revived using tech discovered over the centuries the Tenno were gone. The galaxy is embroiled in a three way war, and all sides are losing. The time has come for the Tenno to return. You are called. Proceed to the Terminus and prepare for transport to Mercury.

It is time to reclaim what is ours.

    What is Humanity's rightful place.

You are a Tenno initiate, just awoken from cyro sleep. You do not remember who you were. You know who you are, however, and your mission. You will be trained and taught, and in turn you will train and teach. Such is the way of the Tenno.

The fighting system of the Tenno is a combination of brute force, and speed. Their weapons are divided into three main styles: The long gun, stored on the back. The primary ranged weapon of the Tenno. Used for most combat, all Tenno are masters of their chosen weapon. The Pistol, stored on the right hip. The back up line of offense, Tenno must show some proficiency with their side arm. The Blade, stored in easy to reach locations. The ruler of combat in the cramped quarters of a space ship, Tenno are absolute masters with their chosen blades, and are expected to use them without hesitation or slowness. A quick blade strike can be more effective than dozens of rounds.

The bio is simple, as much of the data is preset.

    Name: (Obvious, right?)Warframe: (See http://warframe.wiki...m/wiki/Warframe.)

Frame: (What Warframe are you using?)

Powers: (Warframe abilities. See the specific pages of Warframe you choose.)

Weapons: (Nothing too powerful, but I will make exceptions. Try me and see. Remember: One long gun, one pistol, one blade. Nothing more. See http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Weapons.)

Abilities: (Are you faster than normal? Stronger? Have a tactical mind? Remember: All Tenno are essentially super human. Be careful what you pick, because I will not hesitate to force you to face your weaknesses.)
Other: (Suggestions? Data that won't fit elsewhere? Put it here.)

May the enemies fall before you, Tenno!

posted a message on [1.5.2] Back Tools [v1] Sheathed Weapons & Tools!
This is an amazing mod. However, I have one question. Would it be possible to make a quiver add on for this? The image for a quiver is already in the game files. Just make it so that when you equip a bow, it automatically equips the quiver on your back. I don't know how hard this would be (I know nothing about modding,) but that would be awesome!

Also, I just tried to install it on a different computer, and it gives me a black screen. No error report, no lag, nothing. Just the Mojan logo, then a black screen. Any idea why?

People, you are arguing over one of the most infinity customizable games on the internet. And you have been for days. If you don't like a texture, change it. If you don't like a feature, remove it.

Thank for all your help! I've done some looking around, and read a few things, and decided that modding is a bit harder than I thought. Perhaps C# spoiled me, but I was not aware you needed to decompile the entire folder... At any rate, thank you for your help.

I've been taking C# coding, and have learned how to change that over to Java. I'm currently attempting to mildly modify my .jar. The only thing I want to do now is change it so that fence crafting returns six fence, instead of two. However, I can not find the recipe files in my .jar. Where are they, and can anyone point me towards the fence crafting recipe?

posted a message on [1.5.1] The Flash Light Mod - Realistic Flashlights In Minecraft!
So, after playing with this mod for several hours, I have a few suggestions.

First, change the stone used in the crafting recipe to all iron bars, and have the switch be replaced with a button. That'll make it more like a modern flashlight, at least one that size. Plus, it'll make it more expensive.

Second, going along with the steel frame idea, make it deal more damage on hit. I'm not thinking anything too big, but if you have a flashlight that size in real life, made from steel, it deals some SERIOUS damage when it's swung. Perhaps as much damage as stone sword, or a wooden one. Either one would make this more multipurpose.

Third, updating the idea of durability. Make it so that it does have a battery bar, but that it doesn't degenerate over time. Instead, make it have a "Boost," button, which makes the flashlight brighter, but does use battery power. I was thinking increase the light size, and, as an added bonus, also light zombies and skeletons on fire (Those mobs that would be damaged by sunlight.)

After downloading this mod, and playing with it a bit, I have to say: I love it. I want more. But, I also have to say, the item PNGs are rather poor. So, I made new ones.

The unlit one. If you look closely, you can see a button on it. If needed, I can brighten the colors to make it easier to see.

The lit one. Again, the colors can be lightened if necessary. Feel free to use both of these in the mod. I've already updated my copy with them.
