I'm not going to take the time to do a full 10 game list, but 1-3 would probably be:

I can see why you don't like it, you played a Spanish version!
Sorry, I couldn't resist.
Also I played mw2 for the first time a couple nights ago at a friend's house. Basically I got the feeling that it was a typical fps filled with leveling that resulted in awards that reward kill streaks with the ability to take cheapness to a whole new level by basically flooding the map with death.
Also Halo. Need I say more. The fps genre on general is overrated. There are great fps's out there, but ****ing hell...boring generic uncreative fps's are EVERYWHERE...and people say the rhythm game genre is oversaturated.
Feb 6, 2011Metallica and Dethklok are sort of what got me into metal. I still like them, along with the classics like Iron Maiden, Pantera, and Dio. I also really like Amon Amarth, Opeth, Children of Bodom, and Cannibal Corpse along with several other bands. I also like some metalcore/deathcore stuff like Oceano, iwrestledabearonce, All That Remains, Suicide Silence, and The Devil Wears Prada which a lot of metalheads I know seem to not like. Don't get me wrong, I don't like that stuff as much as straight up metal, but it's great when I'm in the mood for it.Posted in: Culture, Media & Arts
Feb 6, 2011First of all, let me say that I really have no experience in this sort of thing and am going purely off what I believe would be the best way to approach this. Then again, that probably goes for most of the people posting as well. The absolute best thing you could do is get the authorities or a psychiatrist involved if things get out of hand.Posted in: General Off Topic
Quote from Narraeson »If you can't get her to stop worshiping "Satan" get her to be atheist or agnostic. Lesser of two "evils", if you're religious, that is.
Absolutely not. Think about it. If she's satanic, then she still believes in God. If the ultimate goal is to convert her to Christianity, then what you're suggesting is to convince her that God doesn't exist or might not exist, and then eventually convince her that God DOES exist and that He is who she should be following.
Regardless, do NOT try to force your religion on her. You have to understand and respect first of all that she has a right to believe what she wants to believe, no matter how strongly you disagree. Expressing to her that you understand this concept should in theory persuade her to listen and respect your concerns more. Right now your one and only focus should be to make sure she doesn't do anything drastic and try to get her to talk to you about what's going on. Don't force it. If she starts getting defensive then just back off. Odds are it's just a phase, but the last thing you want is to **** her off and end up doing more harm then good.
It might not be much help, but that's about all I've got. I know it was more what you shouldn't do than what you should do, but I hope it helps. I hope everything works out.
Feb 6, 2011Hi everyone, I'm KEWB. I'm 21, and I love video games and music. Tons of different kinds of music, but primarily metal. I'm an avid rhythm gamer and Guitar Hero and Rock Band eventually inspired me to take up guitar. Aside from rhythm games, I also love platforming games, action/adventure games, and really like just about everything except for RTS's, which I've tried to play many times but just can't get into for some reason.Posted in: General Off Topic
As for Minecraft, I heard about Minecraft quite a while ago and had seen a couple of gameplay videos, but never really bothered to check it out a few days ago. I got to watching Minecraft videos from a guy on Youtube (username SeaNanners), and thought it looked sort of interesting. It really looked like one of those games that IMO looks kind of dumb when you're just watching it but when you play it you get addicted like you wouldn't believe, so I wanted to try it out. Turns out I was right. After watching several of his videos and playing some of the free version, I decided to buy a premium account. So far I'm loving it and sort of kicking myself over not checking it out earlier.
That's about it I guess. I look forward to getting to know you all. See you around. :smile.gif:
