Originally, SOPA would have been voted on today, and PIPA yesterday. But, the vote was delayed. That's right. We made a difference. We urged congress not to even vote on the bill, and are wishes came true. On the same google website where people could sign a pension, users can now thank congress for stopping that bill in it's tracks. But not only congress should get thanked; so should the millions of people that stood up together against SOPA. Nothing like the internet protest on january 18 had ever happend before. But it worked, and look where we are here today. I should also thank all the people who supported this thread. Thanks to all the people who watched my video. Thank you to all the people that downloaded the texture pack, and special thanks to all the people that downloaded it via ad.fly. Thank you to all the people that +1 this post, and supported it. Thanks to the few, if any, that used one of the banners. Thank you all for taking the time and commenting, discussing the bill and destroying anyone who thought the bill was good. You guys are a great community, and I appreciate it.
This might be the end of SOPA and PIPA, but it is not the end of these types of bills. People will eventually think up new bills. When this happens, we will be ready. We WILL fight back. We will again attack congress, and again we WILL squish any bills that provoke out freedom. But until that day; you may know that we have won. Thank you all.

Wow that was fast. A SOPA like bill has risen in Poland. Read about it here.
Thank congress here.
"The Senate will vote on PIPA this Monday. Senators need to hear from you right now." -Americancensorship.org Officially, the strike is over; But thats no reason to stop protesting against SOPA.
You've heard of SOPA. It's bad. It makes me sad. And now you can play minecraft, censored. I don't recomend playing with this for a long time; not even playing with it at all. But if you are against SOPA, download it and +1 this post.

So here begins Steve's quest on everyone's favorite sky island!
PRELUDE
Good, no problems with the download, I spawned normally. I waited a moment while the chunks loaded. Well, there wasn't much to load. Just some small, 3X3X3 hunks of dirt with a tree and a chest. I just wanted to avoid lag. As I waited, I wondered if I could complete the challenges given on the forums. All of them would have sounded easy if this were a normal world. This was not. This was a place where dirt was valuable, where falling once could result in failure, and where one mistake could spell doom.
This was Skyblock.
CHAPTER 1
"Alright, chunks appear to be loaded. Let's get started," I said to no one. No one but me, of course. I peeked in the chest. 12 pieces of string, a bucket of lava, a bone, wheat, a red mushroom, 2 blocks of ice, pumpkin seeds, a brown mushroom, a slice of melon, and a cactus block. I closed the chest and walked to the tree. Six blocks tall, with three exposed logs. I began to punch it. Isn't that how everything begins?
I was not scared that I could punch wood with no pain, nor was I surprised when the blocks just floated. I was used to this. I was used to blocky worlds, too. And not only was I used to pixelation, I embraced it. I had removed the three originally exposed blocks when I realized that I should remove the leaves first. I punched the leaves in front. Oddly, no saplings. I went around to the back. It was difficult punching in the one-block wide space. After I had trimmed a few more leaves, a sapling fell out, and I walked backwards to grab it.
That's when I fell.
CHAPTER 2
I plummeted down into the emptiless void. I watched as the last heart of my health was destroyed, along with three pieces of wood. Death Count: 1. I respawned and moped for a minute. Then I said to myself, "No sense crying over every mistake. You've got work to do, Steve!" And there was.
I harvested the two remaining pieces of wood, and got a one sapling from the leaves. Well, it could be better. Or worse. But mostly better. I then preceded to dig out the pits for the cobblestone generator. I put the lava and ice in so that I could get to work on the first challenge once I was ready.I crafted a work bench, then a wooden pickaxe, with two sticks left over.
Now it was time to retry tree farming.
CHAPTER 3
I placed the sapling in front of the chest. This was my last hope. I took the bone out of the chest and crafted it into three bone meal. I hessitantly clicked on the little tree. To my relief, it grew fine. A healthy, five-block-tall tree. I trimmed the leaves and received five saplings. I stood a moment in thanks for this wonerful harvest. Then I retrieved the four logs. I stored them in the chest then went to the cobble generator.
I took out the pick I made with the original logs. I broke the ice and watched as it made stone. I began to harvest it when I relized that it would be more effectient to collect the lava first. I grabbed the bucket and scooped it up. Then I noticed that it was night, and the lava had been lighting things up. So I put the lava back, so I could see what I was doing.
Then I got hungry.
CHAPTER 4
My hunger bar was down to five points. I was half-way to starving. I needed food. I scrambled towards the chest. Melons. Yes. Melons would do. I took out the melon and made seeds. Then, I made a hoe. I quikly ran to the cobble generator and tilled the dirt next to the water. I then proceeded to plant the seeds. I decided I would save bone meal for trees. It would take a while without it, but hopefully the melon would grow before I died of hunger.
The sun came out, and I continued mining stone now that I didn't need lava light. I hate working in the dark. I only do it when nessesary. I could walk off the edge, or drown. As I mined, I shuddered at those thoughts.Once I had about a stack of cobble, I stored it in the chest. Finally, I could start building my world, my way. I raised my pick up with pride.

Yep, there's a mod for pretty much anything.
