The Guard’s job is to regulate the contraband levels in the prison and to protect prisoners from PVP.

• Guards have access to the Guard kit that is available for use once every 30 minutes. If guards are caught storing or giving kits away they will be demoted and or banned. If guards have armor and would like to get a new kit they must first dispose of the old one.
• Reasons to jail players include, but are not limited to: PVP, zoning, contraband, weapons, chainmail armor, and pvp-logging. To jail a player use the /jail {player} {time in minute} command.
• Guards must act mature in situations that may arise. If you are not sure how to handle the situation, contact a higher authority.
• Guards must be respectful to all players. Guards are not to be biased or take sides.
• Guards are expected to follow all server rules. Guards breaking the rules will be demoted.
• Guards are allowed to kill anyone who attacks you or another person. If someone is being attacked, but does not fight back, only kill the attacker.
• Guards are not to jail someone for an infinite amount of time. Guards caught doing this will be demoted.
• The secret word is taco.
• You must be at least rank B-Block before applying.
• Guards are to jail players that are building or griefing the in the treefarm. This jail should last ten minutes.
• Guards are not to jail players that have contraband whilst in farms. Farms include plant and animal farms. This does not include fishing areas.
• If you have a question regarding the Guard rules or expectations, please do not hesitate to ask a staff member.

As you can see i have taken the time to read the rules and in-game rules too.

Why should we pick you to be a guard? Well here is a few things i think you'd look in me as a guard. I understand the guard rules. Server Rules I feel are the most important and how I would uphold them: Hacking & Glitch Exploits This is a big one. Hacking ruins a server. Especially a Prison and PvP server. Where in some parts of the free world you cant mine because the biome has been X-Rayed to smolders. Where you are raided because someone vClips into your base. Where you cant PvP because every other person ForceFields. This is not one of those servers, because this rule is enforced so strongly by staff, and damn am I thankful for that. This is important mainly because if this rule is not maintained, the atmosphere of the server is decreased. LP however is the only server so far that I have encountered with really bright atmosphere and low hacking and exploit incidents. Hacking often ruins the experience for players. Therefor must be prevented. At almost all costs. Chat Rules This is another big one, that I have found to be an issue on the server. Not often, but occasionally. People tend to be treated differently depending on what they are like, and assumptions are made about people that are untrue. This is obviously because people get upset and agitated in PvP, which is understandable. However pulling out the caps rifle and shooting a racial slur at someone is not acceptable. The importance of this rule can not be stressed enough. This is a matter of the player feeling safe and at home. It is vital that the player feels accepted from the very start. One way of ensuring this is welcoming them when they first join the server, giving a helping hand every once in a while and simply making friendly conversation with them. Another important thing to keep in mind is cursing. I know people that have been demoted and even banned because of excessive cursing. So that is definitely something that has to be contained. Thats what we have chat plugins for, right? Power Abuse This is quiet a broad rule. This goes from not using class powers to attack people in safe zones, to guards abusing commands such as /kick. Staff abuse on this server is very rare, since the selection of staff is very precise. However, class power abuse is a quiet big one. This one is probably the most important one, even though it does not occur very often. This is a matter of player equality. Every staff member should know that they have the exact same rights as a player, and should be treated equally. If a player is treated unfairly by a staff member the chances of the player leaving the server is high. Unequality is one of the most irritating things ever. Therefor, all staff must have a certain set of traits; They must know what its like to be the average player; The Hated The Loved The Staff The Owner The Hacker The Gamer If Staff do not know what it is like to be any of the above, it will be hard for them to treat everyone equally. Being staff does put you above rules. Do you vote for the Server daily? I do not. I doubt anyone does. I try, but getting into the routine is hard. I'm not going to lie. What will make you a good Guard/Helper? My experience. I have been staff on numerous servers, Such as:Owner of UnlimitedGames Owner of PrecioussssCraftPrison Owner on AceWorld Main Owner on AceWorld PvP- Owner on AceWorld Prison Owner on AceWorld Freebuild Owner on AceWorld HungerGames Jr. Mod on OreCraft Developer on ConversationCraft Admin on World5 Guard to Head-Warden on Prisonbreak Guard on former MCJail And probably more. After being on all of these servers, I have developed a very unique skill set. I know what it is like to be every type of player. Like I mentioned before, to be able to treat everyone you equally you need to be able to think yourself into their situation, and that can be hard if you have never been in that situation before. To repeat myself; The Hated The Loved The Staff The Owner The Hacker The Gamer I have also noticed that LP is a somewhat multicultural server. I find this fun, because I can't often understand what foreign players are saying im strange like that. I am Irish live the country side . I can speak English, irish French fluently. This gives me an edge when communicating with players. Point is, being multicultural is a vital edge when being staff on a world wide server. The one thing that I truly enjoy in Minecraft is being able to be part of a community. It is my favorite aspect of Minecraft. The community. That is why I keep scavenging for new minecraft servers, but when I came to LP, something changed. I felt that this was that one server I wanted to stay at. I have now finally decided that it is time for me to start improving and helping the server to the best of my ability. You can deny my application, but I will not stop trying. I wont ever. I am looking forward to a more memories with LP I will not disappoint you as a guard.

Yes I understand all server and Chatmod rules. I always take the time to read rules before I play any game.
Why should we pick you to be a ChatMod?:
You should pick me as a ChatMod because I want to make other people feel safer on this server. Some people criticize others and it just shocks me why would anyone do that if it is so annoying and mean. I would like to be a ChatMod to be able to stop those type of people and to make the chat more enjoyable than to have spammers, criticizers, or racist people. That is pretty much all I have to say and thank you for taking the time to read my application it really means a lot to me.
