Updated the banner and images. Tried for another style which doesn't have to much bias in regards to the shows shown. Did this based off the poll (which either the case i'll change the banner/update it on the next new season as needed).
If I had a choice though, Holo would be in there all the time :P.

Jul 17, 2014So little bit itchy for some anime so this weekend on my free time watched both Tokyo Ravens, and Unbreakable Machine-Doll. I have to say I enjoyed both, though the story compelled me more in Tokyo Ravens later in the show. Currently now watching Date A Live, though i'm unsure how I feel towards it or if it'll be enjoyable to the end ><.Posted in: Culture, Media & Arts

Crappy PSU and case. And how did that become 500 bucks?
Rather then being critical, post your own build suggestion so they'd have other opinions on the matter? :o.
Also I suppose you didn't click the part list link, MIR's are being used to get the price down in the long run.

4 of those links are NFSW lel
> "It's user submitted images may it be fan art or not but also contains a fair amount of nudity."
If you're looking for images of about any character, then might have to look past that fact that it has that. However i'll label it so people can read that easier.
Also hate to break it to you, the thread been posted for 2 years with some of those links being there and haven't had an issue :p.
Jul 12, 2014I've used Dxtory a little so i'm not super sure, but i don't believe it has the ability to split it up like what FRAPS would do. I personally used Open Broadcaster as my capture software which doesn't make larger capture files but still has great quality to it.Posted in: Computer Science and Technology
Just my two cents. :).
Jul 12, 2014Put together a rig, but couldn't find a good ratio between prices and parts, so went to search up another list and found this one instead:Posted in: Building, Parts & Peripherals

You didn't mention having a OS or anything else (so it's in there too) but the price might be more if you need a new monitor, keyboard, mouse etc. Still not a huge fan of R9's but there inexpensive and still give good performance. I'd maybe spend a few more bucks when I comes down to another motherboard but that's just my opinion.
Jul 12, 2014The "simulation" craze that's going on Greenlight atm. Example would be rock and grass simulator. I don't need to play them to say those are just silly ideas to begin with >< (though it being satire is very likely).Posted in: General Gaming
Jul 12, 2014Poll created for current summer 2014 shows.Posted in: Culture, Media & Arts
I'm rather excited about SAO II after watching the first episode. Hopefully the action stays tense and the story interesting. The other two I picked was Terror in Resonance and Tokyo ESP. The first one seemed to have an interesting plot driven by fear. Unsure if that'll translate into anything. The other one was a tie with the other Tokyo Ghoul but both seemed also interesting so just picked one.
Jul 12, 2014Funny how I posted this almost 2 years ago this month. I suppose I should update the original thread now that i've become a little more active :P.Posted in: Culture, Media & Arts
Add a poll for Summer anime airings
Update links / add new links
Add anything else I think would be nice.

Do you think I should change my parts so I would have the option? Also thanks.
If you feel you WILL be using it then it's an option. Budget can be an issue as unlocked CPU go for a higher price, but you'd also have to factor in getting a cooler (which is extremely recommended) that being water cooled or just a extra fan from like Coolmaster. Space within the tower is also a small factor when it comes to having a cooler but it's not a huge deal most of the time.
Like Jppk1 mentioned too, you'd have to know if you motherboard can handle the added stress but i'll also add having a larger power supply unit which overclocking will be needing. (Around 650w+ is recommended I believe.)

Ok. You use Intel HD Graphics?
My MOBO has Intel HD Graphics, however I have a tower which allows for me to have a separate GPU installed (GTX 760 OC). Though even if I had just the motherboard and no GPU, Minecraft would still run fine, though any other games with higher needs might suffer because of it.
Some laptops don't have enough space so lack an actually separate card, thus always having to rely on the integrated graphics. Or the company doesn't like the put out specs for the card being used (does happen rarely).
Jul 12, 2014I'll try to keep the comment around the laptop you posted rather then being broad in general.Posted in: Computer Science and Technology
I have a few Acer laptops over at the retail store I work at, though those are lower tier ones, I haven't heard much issues with them from customers who've bought them from me. So can't comment to much about it, but If you feel uneasy still about it perhaps an HP or Toshiba might work better for brands. Though I do have to say most customer support from any brand seems to lack horribly.
Now, with you mentioning about programming I guess it depends on what form you're doing. If it's similar stuff, then you should be good, but if your compiling large amounts of data while doing other things you might experience a bit of hang up here and there. RAM with 6 GB is fine, and the i5 is a newer 4th generation with lower power consumption that'll make the laptop last longer for battery life but also multitask without to may issues. If anything does come up i'd say to maybe upgrade to 8 GB of ram if anything.
For the GPU, it's older of the AMD cards with R9 now being the more recent and affordable choice. However, the card seems to be easy to overclock, so if you don't mind heating up your laptop just little more then usual you can squeeze out a little more juice from it. Other then that for games like TF2 or MC you should be all good.
Final thoughts? I see it as a good buy, but if brand bothers you look more into other Acer laptop and see how those are fairing. Each company puts in there own gags. software or other stuff to get customers to buy so keep that in mind.
Jul 12, 2014Justles posted a message on Is the Toshiba Satellite L50D-BBT2N22 Laptop good for Minecraft?Well looking it up via google for more information for that price it'll run Minecraft fine from mid-tier to some higher stuff. Ram is a little low for 4 GB (lowest a laptop/desktop has now a days), though could easily replace that up to an 8 later on. In terms of the processor it'll run MC fine without an hitches unless again you're adding a large amount of mods or something processor intensive.Posted in: Computer Science and Technology
For the GPU it's integrated with the Motherboard (couldn't get any specifics on that sadly), but with it built within the past few years you should be all good to be honest.
