First of all, about me: My IGN is Js, I am Canadian and I have been playing minecraft since beta 1.1. I speak english very well and I have some experience with recording and video editing. I have no videos on youtube yet, but I have 2 let's play series already done(not minecraft) and ready for youtube.
About the server: We want to create a server for youtube minecraft let's players just like mindcrack, but even better. The point of the server is to have let's player build there home in the server and hang out with each other, record episodes together. The server will include the same aspects as the mindcrack server:
Completely free This server will not cost anything to join but places will be limited.
No mods The server will be vanilla, no mods will be installed.
Always on server The server will be playable 24h, 7 days a week.
Brand new map The map will be freshly generated to let let's players start there home.
Pranks The server will allow pranks just like the mindcrack server, so no TNT and fire or lava involved.
Nether Hub Will allow quick access to each let's players home.
A lot of fun! By offering a multiplayer server we want let's players to have fun together and make new friends, which will also attract other viewers to your channel.
The series: The project will also include series like ultra hardcore, survival games, race for wool, survival maps, anything that will make good games and videos, we also have secret custom maps.
Custom maps: We have made and are making custom maps that haven't been release to the public. We are keeping these maps for the server, with the possibilty of releasing them after playing them and recording with the let's players.
Why would I want to join?: This is a rare chance of joining a community of other minecraft let's players and to enhance your subscribers and your viewers. We will choose only the best let's players and with high standards, so you will not play with kids or people who have awful audio. By playing with other good let's players, you can attract there viewers too.
How many spots will there be?: We are currently searching for about 10 people, but there is a good chance that more spots will be available in the future.
How can I join and am I up to it?: First of all, before you want to join, ask yourself if you have enough time and if you will want to do this for a long time. We want to create something that will last. We are searching for people that are entertaining and are willing to do this project and to put effort in it. What can you bring to the project?:
I can bring the most valuable thing you might want, experience. Good experience, not griefing experience. I have managed a server ago, building up a huge and creative world with my fifthteen members. What can I bring to the project? Good ideas, excellent architectures. While I do suck horribly at redstone, I can say for sure that my addition will increase the efficiency of the team along with our creativity.
You will also gain a dedicated and loyal member, someone who you can count on, someone you know will put all of his efforts on the server.
