    And without resource pack?

Have you assigned MC at least 4GB of ram instead of the default 1GB?

What version of windows are you running MC1.7.10 on?

If it works without the RP, it could be an RP issue or lack of RAM / VRAM.

I'm betting odds it is a video driver issue.

Heh, we've seen that one before.

    Check:
    AA
    AF
    Mipmapping

It could be your resourcepack as well.

I had that problem with OF depending what your mipmap setting was changed to, because it scales the textures. I had to make them all 16x16 or 32x32.

If you PM me, I can DropBox you a link to BF with the resized textures.

Yes, but if she can manage to make the move to 1.9.4 at the least, the 1.10 move will be VERY easy thanks to how they share so many binaries. That's shown by how some 1.9.4 mods out of the box work with 1.10.2 with no editing.

That is exactly what she is doing. Look at my post at the top of this page, I asked the same question already (not bugging for an update, genuine question about which versions she will support).

    It's coming guys, chill out.

It is a CRAZY amount of work to bring a mod from 1.8.X to 1.9.4/1.10/1.10.2!

If her mod is anything like DrZharks Mo'Creatures mod, he is moving from 1.8.9 to 1.9.4-1.10.2 (which basically all use the same code), and has 2,200 errors to fix! It takes time to filter through all of that!

Forge changing names of things, adding new hooks, removing hooks, changing functionality & adding safeguards. It's a big deal!

What happened to the website?? Can't access it anymore.

Confirmed, website host doesn't have the *.mrcrayfish.com in the SSL Cert, so it bounces.

The page isn't available in HTTP any longer, so, it isn't accepted.

MrCrayfish will have to get a hold of the web host, and have then re-certify their SSL Cert with his wildcard FDQN.

Hey, I love this mod but, I'm in 1.10.8 with forge and optifine installed for this version, better foliage works but without the extra leaves and without the falling leaves. And I checked it's on true.

    Someone can help me?

There is no 1.10.8, I assume you mean 1.10.2?

BF works fine with Optifine 1.10.2 HD U C1-3, and any version of forge from what I can tell.

    I've tested on Forge 12.18.1.2006, 2010, 2014, 2018, 2027, and 2045.

    Works just fine :).

Maybe delete the config folder and let it regenerate. Make sure you are running BF 2.0.13 for MC 1.10.

Are you going to do a 1.9.4 - 1.10 - 1.10.2 release, seeing as all 3 are compatible with each other?

It's nice that most mods in 1.9.4 also work in 1.10.X :)!

Thanks for all of your hard work and dedication :)! My daughter loves your mod! Goes well with Mr.Crayfish's Furniture Mod as well :D!

    yes :)

    Awesome! Looking forward to it!

I was checking out GitHub to see if you have any source-code that I could build to check out the progress so far ... I only found translations ;)

Keep up the great work, RazzleberryFox!

I agree with you, the bugs are a must first, to get that out of the way, THEN Dr Zhark can focus on whatever version he wants to work on. People are very impatient.. Dr Zhark is coming back to a lot of things. Either way there will be 1.7.10 for players (like me) that prefer to say in 1.7.10 for now. Then for the 1.9+ - 1.10+ players, just have to give it time.

I agree, we've all been patient thus far, and have a new release for 1.8.9.

I was just answering the posters question.

The obvious crucial bugs have to be fixed before porting to a new version (or backporting if DrZhark decides to start at that point). It's nice to have all of the animals to look at, hostile or not, but that's a pretty massive 'functionality' deficit.

    Any word yet on 1.10.1?

Here is the last we heard on the 1.9.4 (1.10 / 1.10.2) update.

    Quote from DrZhark»

I started working on the 1.9.4 update last night. There were many changes to Minecraft in 1.9 so it will take a while to port it. I have about 2500 errors left to fix (I'm not exaggerating). However plenty of times many issues are fixed at once.

Perhaps I'll work on 1.7.10 first as it may be faster than 1.9.4

    what do you guys think?

Most 1.9.4 mods work also in 1.10 & 1.10.2, so, we should get lucky.

We haven't heard if DrZhark changed direction to backport 1.7.10 before moving to 1.9.4 yet.

Ok, so clearly I'm not the only one having problems with the flickering hand. I just got 1.153 (thanks Sildur) and I'm still having this problem. I thought maybe I should update Optifine, because I was still using the initial 1.10 release of it. I have the 1.10.2 HD_U_C2 edit of Optifine and I'm still having the issue. I'm stupid and don't know how to find the other stuff I need to help more(processors, etc.). Maybe it is just me, but I don't think it is based on some of the other recent comments on the thread. :iapprove:

Well this still occurs on me Only if i use OptiFine

This was occurring on nVidia systems if you were using a driver older than 368.XX. Once I updated, I was fine.

    It is driver-related.

Problem is AMD/Intel don't seem to support it, even on newer drivers. (I'm still testing several Intel systems)

Sildur is working at finding another method to accomplish the task, without losing massive FPS, or functionality.

1.7.10 still has a very active userbase. Then again, the world is moving on. How big of a job would back-porting to 1.7.10 be compared to porting to 1.9, or directly to 1.10? (Assuming there is a Forge for 1.10 yet. I have not been following things for some time, because I have been overwhelmed.)

1.9 is going to be a massive undertaking.

    Having said that:
    • 1.9.4 is not far off from 1.9
    • 1.10 (yes there is Forge for 1.10 and 1.10.2) basically uses the same code as 1.9.4
      • Many 1.9.4 mods work in 1.10 just fine

My opinion is jaded, I stopped using 1.7.10 long ago ... having seen the speed benefits of 1.8 - 1.10.2. Optifine & Shaders are now integrated into eachother (thanks to Karyonix allowing sp614x to merge the 2). Also, the new fighting mechanics of 1.9 & 1.10. Dual wielding, shields, slower steady attack for more power versus fast swings, using the axe for a power-blow instead of a sword to crush mobs.

Either way, looking forward to your work DrZhark!

I'm not sure. Bloodshot did some fixes and I added it to the 1.8.9 version. I can't currently test the server issues, if someone can please try and report back, it will be appreciated.

Well, I haven't tested logon or usage yet, but MC 1.8 F1577 private server loads without errors so far.

I'm sure it crashed with client classes being loaded server side previously ;)!

I'll check out 1.8.9 later tonight, thanks again!
