If that thing isn't 40 cubits I don't even want to see it
The dimensions are 300 x 50 x 30 cubits using an 18in cubit and then rounded just slightly to get 2 cubits per block side. That's about as accurate as MC can get, in this case. But yeah, it's to scale.
This looks really nice! To be honest I think it would look better unfinished similar to how it is now rather than to completely fill it all in.
That crossed my mind, actually. i really like the way it looks partially finished.
I'll probably finish it, though. I am making portions of each floor out of dirt and working the grass to move it up to each level so that animals will spawn inside when completed, which I'd like to see work out, too. :tongue.gif:
LOL! Yeah, once the idea hit me, the thought of just how nerdy it would be to actually look it up in the Bible, work out the math to convert the measurements and then go through the work to build the thing... I just HAD to.
I was actually kinda surprised just how BIG the friggin' thing is. lol
Awesome!!!!!! But wht blueprints do you have for it?
erm... the Bible. hahaha.
I just used the accepted (by athropologists and historians) 18in "cubit," assumed that each block in MC is 3ft by 3ft (making the miner 6 ft tall) and worked out the dimensions from there. Made basic assumptions on the curved bows and such, of course.

I give it a 9.5 simply because nothng is perfect, but I play it so much, you'd think it was a 10. :cool.gif:

From above and behind at dawn (a kind of "beauty shot"):

Hey! An Ark is a boat! Especially if it is 1 to 1 scale. <smirks>

Will do. I'll post future updated pics (as they show progress worth posting, that is) in this same thread.
