posted a message on Hi I have a few questions about pixelmon
hello guys, I wanted to know if pixelmon was a heavy mod or if it wasnt, and also I saw some videos on it and there were these pokécenters randomly and I wanted to know that if I downloaded pixelmon and made a world would the pokecenters randomly generate across the world? i got a new laptop a few days ago, it's a toshiba satellite, it has windows 8.1 64 bit, an a4 quad core processor, and an amd radeon hd 8330. Will pixelmon run perfectly on it? I tried the demo on this lappy and it works like a charm, no lag or anything. I just wanted to know if it would run well as well as those questions above. Any help is appreciated. Thanks :)

Ok guys. you don't have to argue. It's still my choice. And I agree that a dual core is still low end but what I'm trying to say is I'm not into modern games on the pc. I want those oldies that could run with what came out back then. I don't need a mid-high end gaming computer that's why im not managing on wasting a lot of money on this pc because I'm planning on buying a gaming desktop soon for WoW and such MMORPG's. so for now I'm considering on getting either a gt 610-630 and Offcourse the ram upgrade and maybe a new decent proccesor. but that's it. as long as I can play those old games I'm fine. I got the answers I wanted I think this thread is done. Thanks a lot guys :)

Offcourse not. I'm upgrading RAM and probably OS aswell. I will need a new motherboard for a decent processor. But for now I just want something that can make minecraft and those oldies play decently or at all. I could play maplestory perfectly fine 2 years ago but it seems something degraded over time in the computer and now it's unplayable. and the pc is completely clean. So for now I will buy the gpu and upgrade ram and see if it helps and if not I'll just wait till I buy a new pc. I'm thinking about an ibuypower gaming desktop I saw at walmart for $499. That'll have to wait.

Guys I'm using it for old games such as fiesta, maplestory, grand chase and minecraft. I don't do modern games on pc. That's why I've got a ps3, and ps4. so in this case it's a good waste of money. I love mmorpgs so I think this gpu can handle it.

Actually a geforce gt 610 is 40 dollars at best buy and a 2 GB RAM stick at bestbuy is around 30 dollars so I'll make sure to pick those up soon. Thanks for the help though!

sorry if I am in the wrong section for this, it's my first time. So I wanted to ask you guys a question before I buy minecraft. I have an old computer, its a presario sr2000. It has an amd Semprom Le-1100 proccesor, an nvidia geforce 430 nforce. (integrated) can only remember it's an old 6000 series. 1.5GB of RAM. And I'm running on windows vista 32-bit. I'm also planning on upgrading some things. I want to buy a geforce gt 610 gpu for it (for old games such as MC, maplestory, fiesta online, grandchase) and upgrade to 3 GB ram. And probably buy an intel dual core proccesor for it. but will it run with the current specs? and how about if I upgrade it with those new pieces? (Seperate answers) I really want minecraft only to play mod packs such as pixelmon and crazy craft. So how about it?
