    The pack was originally based only on the original DS Scribblenauts games, as we started work on the pack before Unlimited was even announced. I do agree with what you say about some parts of the pack not really fitting well together at all, it's something that needs work.

    I think the only things I noticed you missed were the custom night sky (unless you skipped that for time), as well as the CTM Overlays that exist for a few of the blocks? I don't know if you had those disabled or didn't have the newest Optifine, or if there's a bug that kept them from displaying? They're not essential to anything and are still a work in progress so its really not that big of a deal, but it'd be nice to know what's up with that.

    But other then that I found it to be a very well done and informative review! We (aka I) will definitely get started working on improving the pack as much I can! Thanks!

    I'm having some trouble with my fence post and item frame models and I'd appreciate some help.

    All of my models work fine when my pack is uncompressed, but when run as a .zip the fence post and item frame models don't show their textures and just display purple.

    I'm confused as to what the problem is considering it runs fine as a folder. I've attached screenshots below just to illustrate it exactly.


    Edit: Tweaked a bunch of things while reloading the resource pack with no result. Then restarted minecraft, and suddenly it works. Not sure what thing fixed it, but it's working now!

    Huh, that's weird. Thanks for pointing that out.
    It seems to only happen when the pack is compressed, and that's why I didn't catch it. I'm not sure what's causing it though, I'll probably post in the discussion forum and see if anyone can help.

    -Removed floating pixel on tallgrass2.png


    The issue was fixed for me, but let me know if it still shows up!

    I don't know if I am mentally insane or not, but I recall some resource packs had this falling leaves effect under trees, where obviously leaves would slowly fall from under the leaf blocks.

    Am I crazy or is this a thing? How can I do this thing if so?

    I really want this effect for my autumn resource pack.

    I think there actually is a way you could achieve this effect, although not perfect.

    Using block models, you can create flat 2D planes extending below the leaves (the limit is -16, so like I said, not perfect)
    On these planes, you can use vanilla's standard animation process to create a slow, smooth animation of falling leaves.

    To make it nicer, you could add things like long pauses in between the animation so leaves aren't constantly falling. You could also create other model variants of the same leaves where the leave animations are positioned differently and the animation starts at a different time, to avoid everything going in sync. You could also create some models where leaves don't fall, and adjust how rare leave falling would be.

    For chests, the files should be in

    /sounds/block/chest/ and /sounds/block/enderchest/


    For the chest, the sound names are

    close.ogg, close2.ogg, close3.ogg and open.ogg


    For the enderchest, they are

    close.ogg and open.ogg


    I'm not sure about doors but I assume it's something similar.

    -Changed one Random Stone Texture

    -Added CTM Overlays for Dirt, Sand, Red Sand and Grass (Optifine Only)
    (More on the way! I Really happy with how these turned out; really feels like scribblenauts!)
    -Added new Random Zombie texture (Re-purposed old zombie villager)
    -Changed random stone textures to remove some ugly tiling
    -Added new crafting table front
    -Tweaked cobblestone brightness again
    -Changed Bedrock to be darker
    -Changed underwater color
    -Changed Water potion color
    -Changed water map color
    -Fixed grey instead of black on some wheat growth stages
    -Fixed Grass Path side not lining up with normal grass
    -Added wither armor
    -Updated Random Villager blacksmith to all wear apron
    -Tweaked splash text


    And would you look at that, we got a new review! The review, however, although posted today, is using an old version of the pack from a few weeks ago, so it's missing a lot of things that have changed since then (And custom skys seem to be disabled?) :/ Still, it's better than nothing for now!



    Edit: CTM is also disabled. Dang :/ It seems like he most likely downloaded it from a re-upload site, or else I wouldn't know how he got an old version. At least in links to PMC!


    Edit2: It took me seeing no animated paintings and no random mobs to realize he didn't have optifine at all.

    -Increased Readability/Visibility of font in GUI by making it default to white
    -Added custom color font for the tabs in creative inventory
    -Made Cobblestone brighter
    -Changed mossy cobblestone to have less vines

    Didn't get a response to this, but if it not working is a bug it should be addressed.
