I set up housekeeping underground for now and created a diamond mine, only to discover that there is a pillager outpost nearby.
I can kill off all the pillagers (or at least most of them at one time) but how do I stop them from respawning? What happens if I start mining or burning down the pillager tower?
They just closed the survival realm I was playing on. I think the owner just lost interest; he was never around. Looking for something new. I'm on a couple of servers but they seem glitched these days.
I'd love to play on a realm with some Command Block "mods" in it. Particularly with lots of extra buildings. The standard MC world is awfully barren with the few villages so far apart.

If he was still standing and you get within about 500 blocks to him he should teleport to you automatically.
If you accidentally made him sit, you're screwed. You have to find the exact spot and un-sit him.
Go back and revisit the last few places you were.
