Nether Eyes:Pupil of Flames.
Aether/Skylands Eyes:Iris of Sky.
End Eyes (My name): The Blackened Eye.
W.D. Eyes: Eye of Storms.
OverWorld (?)Eyes: The Occulus.
Have Some Blingz.
Thanks Jeb!
Nether Iron Mb name :Thyrrum (latin for iron is Ferrum, Silverfish is a Thysanura.
it drops 1-3 Iron "Nuggets", its crafted ike a gold nugget into an ingot(s)
Having different names instead of just having "eye" would keep it from being too redundant.
I say we do just that!
- Eye Of The End (better than eye of ender IMO)
- Iris Of The Sky
- Oculus Of The Land
- Pupil Of The Flames
- Cornea Of The Seas
On second thought, that sounds a little cheesy.
Maybe we should stick to Eye of (insert dimension name here)
2. Oh yeah, but they cost 1 glass, and a little gold and nether wart, + waiting. It already takes XP to summon them I really don't wan't things like cocoa beans for pigmen and lapis for zombies, please, just the drops, I want the items for them to be innexaustble(excluding the dolls) and only from killing them, just drops and XP. I usually die when my level is about 10 so please just summoning them.
Just tought of something, Since this will most likely be a part of the All Dem Dimensions mod (if one is ever made) cocoa been trees will likely be added, and tropical blue flower won't be a bad fit for the water dimension. This would make getting brown and blue dye easier.
As for lapis, it could be an ingredient in a diving suit or something. I always thought lapis looked kinda water-y so making a suit from it shouldn't be to far fetched I guess.
One new mob me and Jellomob are planning to add to the nether is the eye of Nether.
This can be stunned with a projectile and then collected. One of the plans was to craft this with zanite and then use the result to find the Nether boss.
Actually, I've been thinking about updating the OP with the "dimension eyes" concept, could you post the pic of the nether eye again? I'm too lazy to find it myself.
ok so i play an rp server and i kept getting my ass kicked by zombies every time at night and i got hungrey and started losing health so i pulled out some rotten flesh and i saw my hunger go up then instently back down and im like **** this stuff's usless and i got to my house and i start trying to think of somthing to do with this crappy item and im like CANABILIZUM the first couple times you eat rotten flesh it does reguler then slowly reguler food doesnt do as much and rotten flesh starts haveing more of an effect and you start to get weaker in the sun but at night you get stronger and soon that flesh is the only thing you can eat daylight makes you slowly lose health if your not at full hunger bar and your basicly like a vampire who eats rotten flesh your weak in the day and powerfull at night now why would somone want that well zombies ignore you till you hit them makeing it like gathering pork durring day and if you would like to switch back it will take more then it took for rotten flesh you will throwup first couple times wich will throw out spoiled food that can also be used for growing and it will take about 10 beef or some kind of meat like that till you start back on a reguler diet and like when you start you get more powerful durring day zombies notice you and you go back to normal i just like the idea of it it would help rp for vampires it would sport a challenge and when your a cannable you arent like a god your just i little more powerful so you do one like normal damage to someone wearing leather you do leather damage to iron and iron damage to diamond only it will be like adding leather you dont do as more damage from iron to leather as diamond to iron so let me know what you think i will except suggestions and well if you dont like it and its added stay in your house with torches and he will be weak like he's normal or hide
This massive wall of text makes even my primitive eyes bleed with agony.
Ooh, and an abandoned ecumenopolis planet would be neat.
Yes, but that wouldn't fit the "jungle crust" part of the WD...
It's less of a sea, and more of a vast ocean underneath a thin layer of crust that covered by a dense jungle, I have even thought of having the roots of the jungle trees poke through the crust and into the ocean below, that would be a cool effect.
Each main dimension should also house an "Ender Eye" which a ender pearl crafted with an element from each dimension (like the eye of the ender crafted with blaze powder from the nether.)
Each ender eye would have name regarding their dimension-Examples:
Nether-Eye of the Dead
W.D.-Eye of the Depressed
Note* These are just basic examples.
You'll need an Ender Eye from each main dimension in order to start up the Ender Portal, this way going to the Ender would feel more adventurous and make the Ender feel more like the End of the game (that is if we have decided that Ender is the final dimension.)
As savannaman stated, we did come up with a "eye of nether" mob.
I just now realized, that we are going to need an "eye" for each dimension, how else are we going to find the other dimension's stronghold equivalents? We can't expect the players to wander around aimlessly can we? :wink.gif:

Not bad. Maybe the W.D. could have the "Eye of the Drowned" or something. They could always be just "Eye of the Nether" and so on, too.
I like the sound of that, eye of the drowned could be a fitting name.

I never got deep into the Aether mod especially since my portal spawn me on the side of an floating island cause unexpected falls. Your description of the Aether mod makes Millenaire look like gold and if you know me, I loathe Millenaire with a passion. Jellomob himself said that we should deviate from the mod as much as possible (even as far as not using the name Aether) and put the sky lands in our own vision, one without floating whales.
Yes I did say that, we should have our own sky dimension. Calling it the aether would imply the fact that it is similar to the Aether mod, which I don't think is such a good idea.

Oh well.

It's more unlikely than you think.

I see it.
I disagree with it.
Magma cubes should not drop magma cream. You may think it's perfectly logical, but it is not.
Magma cream is made from slimeballs and BLAZEpowder
A magma cube is not in any way a blaze, why should it drop something that comes from one?
Better idea, magma cubes should drop Lava Cores
See that red thing in there?
Don't you think it would make more sense for magma cubes to drop that, instead of something made from the products that come from a blaze?

I agree, we need to make sure that our mod(When, if ever it gets made) fits minecraft well and does it justice
Also, I think I might have solved our "iron in the nether" problem.
We have a liquid metal enemy that drops 0-2 iron "nuggets" that can be crafted into an iron ingot. Possibly 4 nuggets to an ingot?
Or maybe 6 in an iron bar shape.

Not sure about the global city thing...

Don't bump so much this time, ok?
