Jeb should change the moon to where if it has phases it shows up at different parts of the sky like in real life. Instead of it being in the same spot in space. It looks dumb having it where a new moon is in the same spot where there's a full moon. Think of shining a light on something but the lit up part appears on the other side.
Do you want to code this? The current Day/night system relies heavily on a simple rotation of a background every ten minutes.
I'll post one when the mod is a bit more developed and we've got the time. Me and the other 4 working on this all go to the same engineering college which is an extremely stressful and hard school. We're in the middle of redoing the tree generation code and at the same time, pondering if we'll soon drop this mod due to lack of public interest.
My thread has a lot of public interest, you could always work on some dimensions concepts over there
Though I should warn you, we are still in the planning phase of the thread. There is a buttload of things that need to be worked out, but I believe it has potential. It wouldn't hurt to have some people with coding experience help out in the thread.
And we could always refine and implement some of these ideas, if you and you team are willing.
How about cracked stone brick instead? Since you can just sort of make stone brick, and that would be to easy.
Scratch that, just checked the wiki, turns out cracked stone bricks are literally NEVER silverfish.
Since silverfish are quite weak (only 8 health) I guess 4 stone brick and about 5 exp could craft a silverfish stone, either that or it crafts directly into a silverfish.
There was a good suggestion a while back about a Nether boss that would attack with a sword (can't find it now). As for a blaze based boss I was thinking of adding one to a dungeon with special loot but not as the Boss of the Nether.
Oh yeah, you mean lord ghasto?
That was a boss boss suggestion, I really like the concept of having to dodge his swords and bounce back his fireballs.

Need minecraft artist to convert my drawings once I post them!!!
Some of these may be more suited as minibosses, but I like the concepts!
This is awesome! I'd love my to be able to have my own little zombie horde! By the way, I don't know if you still want new drawings, but I'll try to upload some soon, just in case. Also, do yu know the easiest way to post a picture that you scanned in? Just doing it directly from the file doesn't seem to work.
Upload the image to an image sharing site like imageshack or photobucket.
Then type this in your post

Yeah, make it 3D. It would show whether they take elevation into regard or whether they're just programmed to jump when they can't go further.
Also, try making one of the levels have lava pits instead of walls. I've heard somewhere that they walk around pits now, might want to see how they take those into regard.
I'll make stone brick the level that introduces traps, and make the next level a 3D maze I guess.
EDIT: Stone brick level teaser!
Gonna place lava pits like that one in certain places and make a path! :3
Also, was thinking bout something.
hugheskolton, do you want to co-found a thread with me? Like put a "Mob challenge map" Thread in the Maps forum, using the details on the AI displayed in this thread, and my map(once it's finished) as an example map.
We could challenge other users to make their own! What do you think?
Sandstone level complete! There are two solutions, solution 1(red) and solution 2 (blue)
I tested to see which path the zombie would take, and it always seemed to take solution 1.
Eventually, I found a spot where the zombie would take solution 2, I marked it with sandstone and made a simple redstone system to open the door.
In other words, If you want the zombie to take solution 1, open the door manually and stand on the red circle. If you want solution 2, stand on the blue circle and use the lever to open the door.
Any explanations as to why that happens?
And I'm debating whether or not to make the stone bricks level a 3D puzzle.

I don't see why not. Adding an already made sound file to the game would be rather simple.

Tell that to the creeper craters in my front yard.

Wait, you're a modder? That's cool, could you post a vid of the mod in action? I would really like to see it! :tongue.gif:

Maybe add a jacuzzi and a stripper pole...Wait, wrong hotbar,
I don't think the current hotbar should be changed at all. It's easy and convenient.
You can try to pick it up and it will burn your hands.Ok, enough with the hot bar jokes.
You can easily access all of the items via the 1-9 keys at the top of the keyboard.
Overall, why fix what ain't broken?

I know how you feel bro.
Especially on survival islands...

You do lol.
Don't do it too much. Mods don't like bumping :ohmy.gif:
Make it subtle when you bump, so it doesn't actually look like a bump.
