For simplicity's sake, ignore the R, the S, and the Q with the _ above it. D is your input, and C is your clock. Basically, the clock "saves" your input into Q at the end. I used design A for the memory I recently created for my calculator. You can hook up several DFFs to create more bits to be used, and you can have them all be activated by one clock.

You could make a sweet hidden waterfall entrance. You just have a line of pistons facing upwards next to a body of water, and they all retract up and down at the same time, allowing or disallowing water to cascade down! :biggrin.gif: Epic...

I knew about the binary to seven segment decoder setup, but I didn't understand it so I didn't want to build something i didn't understand, and this was an exercise to better my redstone skills. As of right now, it doesn't display higher than 9. I could extend it to display A-F, but I don't think I will. I'll learn how that more compact decoder works and make a better version some point in the future.

Hello, I'm just looking for a server that would allow me to build my redstone devices. I currently use Single Player Commands and WorldEdit, and I would like to be able to use those same abilities on multiplayer. Simple as that. Are there any servers out there that would allow me to have such abilities? I need to be able to flatten large areas of land, give myself materials and fly.

I'd like to be able to share my creations in person and maybe work together with others on projects. If you can, please reply to this topic and PM me as well if you have or know a server like that. Thanks in advance!

Look up how to string together T flip flops to make a counter on Youtube. That's how I learned.

Not that long really. Two days ago I made my first seven segment display. Minimal, and you had to input each number individually. Yesterday I started building this, and it only had the memory. Later that night I finished it with the adders and decoders. So...2 days really.

I've recently created a calculator attached to a seven segment display, and I'm pretty impressed that I actually managed to make it...and understand it all as well!

It's a good file for somebody to learn more about this stuff. I recommend watching videos on how to make each individual component marked in the first picture.

Possibilities:
1) A weird, rare glitch.
2) Invisible texture pack.

I'm leaning towards the invisible texture pack for the sole reason that It would probably be much easier to pull off.
