good, worldguard was too hard to use, and this one is much less "head hurting"
but a suggestion would be to add a command that romoves all the lands, sometimes i reset everything
    otherwise, great

The clearworld command essentially does that.

For a while I had been searching for that "perfect" land management system for players. I wanted it to be simple, easy to use, and not interfere with vanilla feel to much. Additionally I wanted animal protection. Unable to find one that did exactly what I wanted, I made my own :)

    It's called landlord:

Feel free to try it out and let me know what you think.

Simple:Press is pretty awesome for WordPress, it's a very functional forum plugin.

Hmm, seems promising. Isn't extremely visually appealing but I'll look into the things I can do with it.

I'd recommend you go with Wordpress. It offers an amazing level of customizability - if you know where to look, that is. Finding a perfect theme is difficult, sure, but you'll at least get to like what you find instead of just "dealing with it", as with other solutions.

If you want to set up a forum, you might want to give BBPress a go. It's quite flexible and very easy to set up. Alternatively you could give other forum software like PHPBB, IPB and XenoForo a go. It all depends on what you want and what you're looking for :)

I have minor experience with wordpress and it's certainly an option I've been considering. But I haven't found many super impressive implementations of it. I would like it to be really simple for a user to join and start posting on the forums. If you know of any good wordpress setups that implement this better then by all means please let me know.

It just seems entirely centered around making a blog that it's inconvenient to have it be re-purposed for anything else.

I would personally go for a Xenforo or IP.Board site.

this site is on IP.Board, although most Minecraft Servers use Xenforo

Those options seem very good and I will certainly consider them, but they are a bit on the pricey side. Perhaps in the future I will be able to afford them, but at the moment something cheaper may have to do.

I am in the midst of a complete restructuring of my server to make it better. A problem I've run into is a new website. I currently have a community set up on enjin at http://jcdesimp.enjin.com but i think i could create something much better. I would like some more customization but easy usability as well. I would also prefer if it let me direct my domain, http://jcdesmp.com to it. One option I am considering is a site that uses the wordpress software, but it is not very easy to make forums and can be tedious to find a perfect theme. Any other suggestions? if not then i must settle for the current setup I have on enjin. Thank You

We are all familiar with the infamous splash messages that show up on minecraft's main menu. Can you guys recall any that struck you in an odd way? Perhaps one help a deeper meaning for you, or maybe you thought one had some sort of hidden dark meaning. xD Open to all thoughts of course.

Dude, he has his own reasons. You cant tell him hes gotta keep playing mine craft, actually, if I remember correctly, Jetra said that he/she is in fact NOT leaving mine craft, just going to pre beta. And what you are saying is your own opinion, would you leave minecraft if it, say, implemented a new update that took all mobs away, no creepers no cows. That is a legit reason, you would feel so alone on your sp world. Or what if Mojang had taken away diamonds, cake, golden apples, gold, lapis, and all the other ores except coal. You dont need any of them to survive, only coal. so this is yet another legit reason to stop playing the updated minecraft. Now you may say "Oh but these changes are so extreme and Mojang would never do such a thing!" this would be true but it is only a comparison, and this may be what Jetra feels like to these new updates. Let it go, you are not obligated to post random stuff about why someone should like minecraft when he/she has made their decision, let the poor guy talk his mind, and if you have anything to say to that, great, just dont argue.

I never at any point told him he had to keep or stop playing.

Your still only leaving now because of the changes, be honest you wouldn't be playing this game now if it was the exact same thing. You may not agree with all the changes but it isn't possible to please everyone. Mojang is in a tight spot trying to please people with their updates, they are active on twitter and such and always open to peoples' suggestions. Every thing they add is a decision, it takes a lot of work ro come up with clever ideas and then implementing them into the game. I think it's a bit ridiculous to quit playing a game just because you disagree with some stuff that they added. You aren't gonna make them change their mind and take stuff out. If you are bored of the game or lost interest then that's fine, but abandoning a fun game because you don't like the changes are just plain silly. Like any changes in life if you use them for a while you'll get used to it and learn to enjoy it. Minecraft is a sandbox game that has taken off in many different directions, I see no problem with updates that expand the game in those directions. Features are being added that are better for players, others for custom map makers, mod developers, etc. While you have every right to do this, I think it's a bit silly to abandon a game you paid for that you aren't even completely bored of yet and write a huge post on the forums for such a reason.
