I know your feeling man, I took an entire year break from minecraft.
I've been playing since the first alpha and honestly the game is boring at times, but you can ALWAYS find things to do. ALWAYS. Just keep trying, and eventually you'll find something.

Well, back in the first alpha updates, (I've been playing since the first alpha) I sorta knew what to do, I punched trees.
And then night came. I placed down a torch, and was ready to defend myself. I heard a hiss.
