By far the most beautiful texture pack I've ever seen or used. The night sky is just perfect!
Is there anything that can be done about the transparent edges on the items and tools though? Most of them are full of holes that you can see through. The crafting UI also seems to be misaligned at the present time.
That's what I was referring to. I'm honestly not sure why it's happening, all I know is that Mojang is responsible because there weren't any problems in the previous versions of Minecraft.. They need to stop changing things in the code that already work fine.
To fix the tools (and anything else the player can hold) you'll have to go back in redo the transparency for all of the items the player can hold in their hand. It's not something Mojang can or will fix because this was an intended feature, not a bug. You'll have to make the transparency for the edge of every item to be either 100% opaque or 100% transparent.
It seems that since Minecraft 1.8 was released, a plethora of changes Mojamg added really hurt HD resource packs. For whatever reason, when the items are low res it makes them partially see-through as well as a few other graphic bugs. I hope to God Mojang fixes this... It was fine in 1.7.
Are you referring to the tools? I just noticed that in 1.8.4 with the 256x256 pack (using MCpatcher) the back side of all my tools are transparent.

The bundle packs appear to be out of date and broken in game. In game it says they're only 1.9.2

I've included example images.

Unfortunately it's not broken, it's a feature. http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/resource-packs/resource-pack-help/2202524-1-8-transparency-problems

Kind of hard to see, but it's like sky blue, seeing through the world or something.
