Absolutely fantastic. I started building the Tower of London a while ago but gave up. There's a lot of circular structures, and not a whole lot of information that I could find.
But, if you want a challenging project, I'd recommend that :smile.gif:
Uh-mazing.
If I had to fault it, I would say some of the windows need some work, in my opinion. That's because I like to have my windows evenly sized and in the middle. Some of the windows on this look a bit short, for example in the fourth picture, the windows left of the chimney on the middle floor, I would make 2 blocks higher.
Other than that, I can't fault this at all. I love the almost-surround, raised deck. The roof is fantastic, and the texture pack suits it really well.
+1 :biggrin.gif:
Edit: I like the blue colouring, too. Did you think about using trapdoors? As shuttery things, I think that would suit.
Hello, everyone.
If you hadn't guessed by now, I have stopped all work on this project. It's far too big and I don't have the time, and therefore the patience to put into it any more. Apologies.
If anybody would like a download, to maybe do their own work on it, I'd be happy to provide that. Let me know.
Au revoir, Lowfeld.
I think it looks a bit "messy". But unfortunately, I have no idea how to remedy that :wink.gif:
Also, it looks more like a snake than a dragon, at the moment. Dragons generally have wings.
Well, you've certainly been very successful in making an absolute monstrosity. That is absolutely hideous. Well done :biggrin.gif:
As for "what things am I missing for, in terms of a "working" house/base", I didn't see any sign of a Workbench, Furnace or any chests anywhere, which are all things you'd normally need to play the game.
OK, I realise this has been a while in coming, and most have probably forgotten about this, and I don't blame you. However, I have been working. In fact, I've kind of gone backwards.
I felt that the Castle I'd built, due to the size of the walls, just wasn't the right scale. So what I've done is removed absolutely everything from within, except for the barn area, using MCEdit (don't worry I backed up the file), and have essentially started all over.
Now I'm really not sure how I feel about what I've done, I definitely like the size more, but I'm not sure about the way it looks, and so I'd love your opinions on this.
So, from above, this is how it looks:
And from a bit closer in:
So yeah, please give feedback, let me know if you think I'm being a total idiot and I need to go back to how it was, if you like it, but think I need to change some stuff around (state what), or if you think I should carry on! :smile.gif:
Apologies again for how long this has taken me.
Personally, I don't see a problem with this. Stereotyping Xboxers as 'graphic whores' etc. is ridiculous. Im a PC kid through and through, but I do have an Xbox, and I enjoy it a lot.I love Minecraft, and if it's coming to Xbox too, well, cool.It would be nice if it was free for those of us who've already bought the game, but that doesn't happen for other games, so why should Minecraft be any different?Good move Notch.
