Nice update! Love the counter, so now I know how high I am before i hit the ceiling limit. :tongue.gif:

Still the same error on coal ore, however.

Near as I can tell, sounds like its only showing up in XP, though not many Vista users have responded with similar problems. The issue is only caused when one right-clicks coal ore, the box with the name appears, but not the name itself from my tests. Everything else seems to work, fine; is there any variation in how the text is parsed between it and other ore?

Could you do me a favor, screen shot those black bits, open them in paint or something and tell me the exact color they are?

I'm putting in some checks to at least prevent a crash in future versions.. instead it just won't do anything (still a bug, but at least it's not so annoying for you guys).

The color is R:52 G:52 B:52 which does appear to differentiate itself from other similar dark colors. Hex is 343434

Alright, so a little bit of playing later and those black bits that cause a crash (at least in WinXP SP3) are not bedrock or obsidian, and appear to be coal ore by my deduction. Other ore types show up fine and coal is the most plentiful in the map I am currently using. I can't really confirm that it is ONLY one such thing, but so far it does not appear I can locate any other underground substance that relates to coal ore itself.

Really fun tool! Currently (mostly) working on WinXP SP3. Only had a hiccup when I attempted to identify an element on the map that was black (obsidian, coal, or cave?). Identifying other elements seemed to work fine on right-clicking. I love being able to pan across the map and look at various horizontal slices!

I do agree with the above posts about having some number outputs, such as the layer number. Would be great for checking height and depth! Perhaps an X/Y grid coordinate where the cursor is over if possible?
