    Quote from Teknonick

    [Nixon]
"Hmm?" was my first response when I heard someone talking to me from a seat away. "Oh. Well, I'm not much of a drinker, and I was simply hoping to meet a friend here. The next best thing is a short conversation, of course." I said to him and tilting my head in his direction slowly. Once I saw he wore a hood, that covered most of his face, I turned my attention back to my hands after realizing he probably had his hood up for a reason. "So, what brings you here? I don't think I quiet recognize you, or have had the honor of meeting you before." I asked him. "Oh, and name's Nicholas, by the way. Good people call me Nixon, however."

Robin threw together some words, "Well in that case, I ought to call you Nicholas." Robin pulled out his dagger, playing with it in his hand. "My name's Robin... eh nevermind, that's the only name that matters." Robin lowered his hood as to reveal his face, and sent a slight glare at Nicholas before looking forward again, and calling the bartender. "You still don't want one? It's on me." He pulled out a few coins in order to buy a drink or too. Even Robin wasn't sure of his intentions or how long he planned to stay in this town. Robin left his cozy seat in the corner by swinging his feet off the table, sheathing his dagger, and grabbing his mug. He went up to the bar itself and sat next to a fellow who just arrived ((teknonick)). He had put up his hood on the way there, as to not reveal too much about himself to the man he sat next to. "Aye, you seem lost. Man in a bar without some booze? Now what good is that?" Robin may have appeared to be simply striking up conversation, and perhaps Robin himself even thought it, but he barely talked, let alone to strangers, so it was clear something was cooking in that quite mischievous brain of his.

Robin arrived in Leguni with a minimal amount of money, but luckily he was able to pickpocket enough on the way there to afford a drink at the local Tavern. He stepped in and removed the hood off his cloak. Robin threw an odd number of coins onto the bar top and grabbed his mug, taking it to a chair in the corner. Luckily he still had a coin left. He sat there barely drinking from his mug, boots propped up on the table, playing with his dagger. He examined his father's initials on the handle before stabbing it into the table and taking a large gulp of the booze. Robin wiped his mouth with his sleeve and let out a rather obnoxiously loud laugh, for no obvious reason.

posted a message on Cowboy Bebop RP (Interest Check)
    Hey guys,

So a bit of a backstory on me:
-I've been roleplaying on minecraft and minecraf forums for quite some time now
-Major roleplays include fallout (in minecraft) and Percy Jackson (On forums) as well as a pirate one i just joined in forums
    - I love roleplays, but have never started one
    - I recently got back into Cowboy Bebop, which I love
    - I bet you see where this is going...

Anyways, I am thinking of doing a RP on the forums here related to Cowboy Bebop, but this topic is basically a check to see who is interested and any ideas you guys have. Personally, I think it would be fun to do with all the bounty hunters and criminals and police and such, but I think the planets could get confusing.

In case you just popped in and have no idea what Cowboy Bebop is, here is a link:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cowboy_Bebop

If you're too lazy to read that, its basically a crime fiction, space western set in 2071.

Thanks for your time and input!

    UPDATE 2-26-14
I have recently thought a bit about the concept here. I think as far as setting goes, I would probably pick two main planets to set on. That way, people could rp in each planet and in the space between, but I think too many would be crowded and confusing. people could just 'send' their characters to other planets and describe what happens. Also, I want to note that this is not a continuation of the show, but a mere concept copy. I will not have any show characters or direct plot lines in the Rp, but perhaps use some as inspiration.

    ((Citizen App
    Name: Robin Bowman

Nickname: "Robin", "Rob", He accepts most anything someone refers to him by.

    Age: 17

    Gender: Male

Appearance: 5'10" approx. 155 lbs. Slightly slender body build. His legs are his strongest feature, allowing him to run faster and jumper higher. Caucasian, very slight tan and often a red face from sun burn. Redish/Auburn hair, slight freckles on the cheeks. ( I just realized I used "slight" a lot xP). Green eyes with a smile that is part friendly part devious. He wears an outfit with a white shirt, red vest, brown trousers, often a dark green hood and cape, and sometimes a dark brown satchel as well as a small pouch for coin.

Personality: Robin often shuts people out. He doesn't necessarily think himself better than others, but he only graces special people with information about him. Some speculate this is due to him not knowing his parents very well, but as nobody has talked to him much, they don't know. Robin is often the silent type, as he often looks at a task and plans to himself, without consulting others. He very much keeps to himself, but he is almost always up to a good bet or bargain, anything involving money, really.

Biography: Robin Bowman was born to a aristocratic family of great wealth. All he had was his father, mother, and older brother, as he was instructed not to interact with the "peasant scum" as his father described. At a young age, Robin and his brother often played games around the house, pretending to be thieves and such. They often wrestled as well, all this between getting as good an education their family's money could buy. Since he turned 11, Robin traveled with his brother whenever he went into town or into the port. He learned a few stealth tricks from his brother but nothing that set him too far apart from the average person, yet he worked on his skills for a while. One day, he and his brother decided to leave the house. Nobody is quite sure why they did this, but many assume that his brother had a falling out of sorts with his parents so he left with him, as his parents never spent time with him. All that is known is that he stole his father's letter opener. His story from here on out is essentially only known by Robin himself. One day, while travelling, him and his brother reached a tavern of sorts. They decided to go in and grab a quick drink before continuing their travels. However, there was a gang in there than was awfully aggressive towards the likes of gypsies and nomads, so they were uncomfortable around Robin and his brother, especially when his brother bumped into one. Not even Robin knows what happened, but the gang thought his brother was trying to pickpocket them, so a brawl unleashed. Alcohol and rum dashed all about, and a cigar dropped out of a punched face, lighting the tavern ablaze. Robin took off, not being much in the fight anyways as well as from fear. He hid in the nearby woods, waiting for his brother to come out. He never saw him exit the scene, and Robin ended up there for days. When the fire had been out for quite some time, Robin explored the remains and found no evidence of his brother's matching dark green cloak. He is still hopeful his brother arrived, and so he began searching around for him. Then one day, he arrives at a port...

Weapon: Small Dagger with 4.5" blade. About the size and only a bit sharper than a letter opener. Golden handle, shaped like a thin bird with its wings closed.

Likes: Being Alone, money, bets, foolish actions of others on which he can benefit. His brother.

Dislikes: Pesky youngsters, rich aristocrats, traps, losing money.

Strengths: Assessing situations, determining financial risks, pickpocketing, sticking with a belief, escaping

Weaknesses: Sticking with his beliefs, straight-forward brawls, falling for traps, getting attached or the lack thereof.

Other: I hope I'm not supposed to put something here :/ ))

Well, It was great while it lasted. Just wanted to leave a thanks to everyone who put time into this, that goes for people building, coding, administrating, and even playing. Every single person who was involved, either by creation or interest, thank you. It was such a great Idea and while I am not staff in any way, I must say without the interest or the staff this wouldn't have gotten as far as it did. Thank you all, good luck, and remember:

I am not sure what has happened to this rp, but I must start with an apology anyways. I am sorry because I know for certain that I did not put my best effort and rp skills into this, especially not enough for my liking. Part of it may had to do with my lack of familiarity with the books. I love the rp, the idea, and the community very much and wish all to prosper in the future. Perhaps I should've posted this sooner, but I am going to resign from this rp. Mainly for the reasons previously stated, not being able to give my full effort. I think this is important because it is unfair to others if I am not invovled enough. Thank you for letting me be a part of this grand community once again.

"Magic? Like wizards and stuff?" Clint let out a decent laugh. He was pretty clueless on what was going on but he laughed as though to make Lucian think he knew what he was talking about. Clint secretly hoped Lucian would take it as a joke, but explain anyways, so that he wouldn't seem like a complete idiot. Clint just met the kid and he already felt pressured to impress. It was an odd feeling, probably because Clint was always in the popular group, so he never had to worry about fitting in. But now, all these smart looking people, possibly...magicians. Clint really stood out.

"Ah, no worries bro." Clint was glad that Lucian talked to him. He was honestly a bit afraid he wouldn't but Clint didn't show it. "So Lucian, huh? Sweet name. So what is this place anyways." It seemed like a dumb question, but Clint said it with his usual careless attitude, which he thought might help him get popular. Maybe popularity wasn't a big thing here, but that never even crossed Clint's mind. Clint looked up as others entered, taking a general note of people who looked interesting.

A feeling of unwelcome was settling in on Clint, and he wanted no part of that. He figured most of these kids would be very familiar with each other, almost clique-like. Clint was very knowledgeable with cliques, being in one for most of his life. He knew all about the bonds a group of friends would have and how impossible it would be to join. Clint tried not to think a whole lot about it, no sense worrying over something pretty insignificant. For all he knew, Clint would just wait and impress everyone with his awesome skills doing... Whatever it is his parents sent him here for. He got bored standing, so he decided he didn't care anymore and went to sit next to the kid who waved at him. "Sup."
