    AWSOME It is epic so good for killing. This mod is in attack of the b-team. NEEDS MORE TYPES like snow, lighting, sun, moon, rock and ore dragons. Love it.

    Snow=ice

    Nice mod, have been using this on my server for quite awhile

    I wondering if you can, make it possible for dragons to bank when you are hitting the "a" key. So basically you could do barrel rolls by pressing a for a long time. If you could implement dragon armor and fire breathing, that would be cool! I know that you said that armor and fire breathing might come out in the next releases but still, it hasn't come out yet. Sorry if i sound rude but dragon armor and fire breathing will be awesome in this mod and I really want it implement in.

    I doubt barrel rolls can be implemented because that would require a whole s***load of coding to allow your character to see upside down, and look there's a lot to it, and if I were him, it would take too much time and I wouldn't. Now, as for fire breathing, it was in the mod a long time ago but with game updates, it's become a bit difficult for him to code in. We have to wait for him, that's all we can do as of now unless you have any coding abilities that can help

    for some reason right clicking the dragon with a bone doesn't make it sit (it's an adolecent form and i am playing version r41 for 1.7.10)

    EDIT he also phases through walls and for some reason is very slow in walking

    I don't believe they do sit, I think it's only adults. Otherwise, it would probably mean you didn't tame the dragon. Also, the dragon going through walls thing is a glitch, you'll have to wait for Barracuda to fix it

    Quote from Darkhax»
    Hey there everyone, so I am done with the update to 1.8, now that I have a while to add new content, I would like to get some suggestions from everyone, I want to try and get 1-3 new swords in the mod for the next update (which will be for both 1.7.10 and 1.8.0). The main reason I reject suggestions is because they don't fit the format of swords in this mod, so if you would like to make a sword suggestion, please use the following format.

    When I add swords to this mod there are certain guide lines I use. Swords added must follow some sort of pattern or theme or idea, for example the dawn star is a representation of fire and the nether. Each sword by itself has no special effect, these effects are applied in the form of enchantments. Each sword has two enchantments, one is a basic enchantment that has three levels, while the other is something more complex and only has one level. It's important that the theme is unique to make things as interesting as possible. Also keep in mind that balance is a primary focus of this mod, suggestions that are ridiculous like "Bane of Notch, does one billion damage to everything" will be ignored. Thanks for the help :)

    Sword name:
    Sword Durability:
    Sword Damage:
    Crafting Recipe:
    Base Enchantment(three tiers):
    Complex Enchantment(one tier):
    Texture:

    What was wrong with the Infinity Blade? I liked that one :(

    hey i love your mod but can you make it so you can have your dragons in a mode where they wont try to catch you because one time all my dragon got stuck like 100 block in the air from me jumping off from a high place if you could add a this it would help a lot Thanks

    You might be using an outdated version. I doubt it's there but try going into the .config file and changing it, otherwise, download a different mod version still compatible with your Minecraft version

    Who uses ModLoader?

    I suggest Forge for anybody new, since it's the most popular and therefore easiest to find help.

    If you're not experienced with Java, that is also a *must*. Half the questions we see on here are because of simple Java ignorance, and most of us won't reply because we simply don't have time to point out the hundreds of bad coded lines or teach how to use x Java capability.

    I'm going to use Forge, but as for Java, I've attempted to learn via Codeacademy but at some point the lessons just didn't make sense and I nearly made a sword mod once but it didn't work, but I realize now why that might have been but that was years ago

    posted a message on Weapons Mod
    So I've been thinking about creating a weapon mod. There are a few out there but I wanted to just create my own that way if there was a weapon I wanted added, I wouldn't need to ask the modder to try to implement it and then they don't want to.

    I tried making a sword mod once with I believe Eclipse? But it didn't work and I think I realize now why but what would be the easiest and most effective way to do this?

    I plan on adding stuff like:
    Swords
    Battle Axes
    War-Hammers
    Bows
    Spears

    However, with some of the weapons I listed, I also don't know how to change the model size, for example, I could easily texture a sword but what about a spear since it's supposed to be longer.

    Lastly, I was also planning to use the mod with CustomNPC's and I had a problem before in 1.2.5 where in a separate mod, I wielded a staff and it was long but when given to a Custom NPC it sort of shrunk into a texture format rather than the actual weapon and model.

    Your help is appreciated!

    I have no other mods (well I took them out anyways) but I'll try this magic launcher thing. Can I get the link?

    http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-tools/1262884-launcher-magic-launcher-1-2-5-mods-options

    Now just know, this is a process. However, it's definitely worth it, mods are so much easier to install, you don't even need the mods folder.
    Message me if you need any assistance.

    So long as its free, you're good to go. Otherwise, you might run in to trouble. I once had a lot of fun writing a series of short stories in book and quills and sold the books on my server. It was fun, and those that read seemed to enjoy it. I suppose it was just different. Maybe you could try that rather than jumping into writing a full on novel?

    If you want to write professionally, I'd drop the Minecraft theme. Mind you, I'm no legal expert, so take what I say with a grain of salt.

    Btw what do you mean "sold on your sever?" You charged players to read your books lol?
