    Thanks for the explanation. Not being a modder myself I wasn't sure if it would be a simple (relatively speaking) addition.....sounds much more in depth and prone to issues than I had anticipated.


    I am thrilled with both mods as is....I just have an unhealthy need to always want to 'turn it up to 11'.

    I have to say I love both mods....FCB adds so much more depth to designs.


    Is it possible/have you thought of/are you inclined to add a "redstone ore" type block/bits?


    Not necessarily one that produces a redstone signal but more for the asthetics...something that glows when stepped on/interacted with.


    Just a thought.

    You're being too hard on yourself. I've suffered through many tutorials that jam-pack 3 minutes worth of information into a 30 minute video. When I watch a tutorial I don't want to watch someone else play, I want to learn something. Too many out there wrought are with poor planning, rambling/irrelevant narrative and immature behavior/language. Your tutorial is definitely one of the better ones that I have seen.

    As far as explaining the least common denominator (or quotient + remainder); I personally believe the explanation was well within the scope of the tutorial. What is obvious to some may not be so obvious to others, like minimizing 'waste' aspect and how best to use it up.

    Keep up the good work.

    I have a noob question. What is FCB?

    I would love to make glowing runes. Searching Curse, I can't find a Mod that adds glowing blocks...I'm sure its there somewhere.

    Searching (google) 'Minecraft FCB' I get a bunch of interesting (but useless) links to Minecraft creations commemorating the Barcelona Football (soccer) Club.

    I have never used Thaumic Tinkerer. It has been updated to 1.8 but I am using 1.89 and am reluctant to install it for fear of breaking something. Also I am really not too wild about addons that add a ton of new (especially world gen) resource items. So I might have to look for another solution or just live without it.

    IMHO an example of a 'perfect' addon is one like Thaumic Infusion...it provides a ton of capability and adds only 1 item to the game.

    I appreciate the information however, and may give it a shot once it updates to 1.89

    Yes, like an autocaster that functions on a redstone pulse...also one that accepts a Portable Hole focus as the current one does not...anybody willing to try to make one as an addon?

    I am not one for adding a ton of addons but this is one I would be willing to make an exception for.

    Shout out to anyone who knows.....


    Are all of the Golem tools/weapons no longer in the game or are they just not available in creative?


    Also, anybody good with command blocks? I love the portable hole effect and would like to figure out a way to use it for doors using a red stone signal (not a wand) I thought a command block may be able to do the trick but am clueless as to how to program it or even if it is possible.

    General question(s) for anyone who can help....


    I looked through the change logs and searched this thread as well but couldn't find anything.


    Are wisps still in the game? Have not run across any yet. Are there still wisp spawners?


    If not, how does one acquire wispy essences?


    If have not seen any barrow mounds either...are they no longer in the game.

    Might have a point....maybe can be OP....could maybe be balanced with poor conversion ratios, massive flux release, expensive catalysts, etc...


    Just thought it might add another dimension/capability to the mod that fits nicely into the concept of alchemy.

    Thanks for your dedication and continuous updates to the mod. I have not played TC (or MC for that matter) for quite some time and just wanted to say I really like the changes.


    I like the centrifuge and the ability to break compound aspects down into their component aspects. Do you have any plans to do the reverse; combine aspects (essentia/crystals) to create some of the more esoteric or rarer aspects?


    Seems like it this is the essence (no pun) of alchemy...just a thought.

    @nsmyrnos-

    I found the same thing...it is pretty glitchy. I had better luck with placing chests and making that the resupply point. Generally took several attempts at clearing and resetting the supply point. Could never determine what caused it to start working or why it didn't work initially. I typically used AW 'rations' and not just 'food' items...I have no idea if that matters. I do know that (unless it has been fixed) the mushroom farm does not work at all. I ended up removing the mod. I loved the concept of the automated farms/mines but it just had too many issues.
