Is CIT compatible with 1.8.9? If it is, are there any special measures I'd have to take? It doesn't seem to be working on my tests on 1.11.2 or 1.8.9. I am using optifine_1.8.9_HD_U_H8
If you don't like the new update, then don't play it. I've been avoiding updates forever because mods just add more. I'm still on 1.7.10, but eh. I don't mind a fun old 1.8 adventure map. Just stop making these threads... sigh.
Got this idea a while back for servers to provide a folder for people to put in their config folder in the .minecraft.
This would have text files and .png files, for item names (colors supported) and a texture file name (In the same folder) which they could assign to it. So, all items could have textures based on their name allowing for a more modded feel in general minecraft.
What first draw me in was the classic single player mode, shown to me by a friend. I then got into the classic multiplayer, then eventually beta 1.2.5. The sense that there was millions of other people that you could play with was amazing, as I had never been a part of a large internet based fandom before. Most people are nice, which is great for people just getting into it. The greatest part is it is an open sandbox world, with thousands of things you can do in vanilla, and then you can add mods to it.
