there should be an item (Charger), like the repeater, that will make the next redstone paths deal damage when walked over. there should be another item (Fuse), that stops the deadlt circuit, and safeties the rest of the circuit.

Etc. go down as far as you want, then tunnel to your base. Place water source block at opposite end of the hole to to the base. make the area dark (light level as low as you cAN) except for a 1X1 hole Over the blank area near the glass. Repeat as long as you want.

Herobrine is a myth made up by some guy. He claimed that an NCP had been haunting his map, however, it was just a reskinned door made to look like an NCP.
Herobrine isn't real, but I once played a SMP map where a guy hacked the server and disguised himself as Herobrine, name and all. I have it all recorded.
Oh, and don't make threads about Herobrine. People will think it's spam.
