Yes it does include those things. The entrance/exit stuff can exist below the area (and even then the pressure plate has to be in the area), but not out the sides.
Ok. I decided to redo mine anyway to fit better in a "village" setting. Just started yesterday (got a late start) so it's not a big deal. Hopefully I'll end up with something good by the deadline.
The entrance pressure plate: does it have to move the player 2 blocks forward? Or can I teleport the player to some other relative position? Sorry if this has already been answered.
From rules: "Everything you build MUST be no larger than X20 by Y30 (height) by Z20 ... The entrance /exit boxes that I add, or that are in the templates, may be outside this area".
Does this include the the starting pressure plate, and AMVending sign? I just want to put it 1 block outside the 20x20.
I like the idea of constantly progressing forward. It will shorten the map on the initial playthrough, but on a map like this I'd hope people will want to play it multiple times anyway to try different routes.

Same happened to me when I tried to follow the steps in the guide for the combined ending. Tried a couple times and couldn't get it to work.

And the room at the end is great, Ron. Perhaps add a "set spawn" option there so people can easily get back (by killing themselves).

Awesome, will try it out!

Agreed! Looking forward to trying it.
And as always, thanks for all the work you've put into this, Ron!

Heh, from the LPs I've seen, about half figured out my level (Learning to Fly) and half gave up. I'm ok with that
