I hate this update I get 9 fps on far whereas I would get 40 in 1.5.2 and lower... Thanks Mojang
Then stop playing MC on a toaster.

Is there any way to actually get contact with Scuttles? I'd love HD Patcher support. Optifine is just cluttering my game with options that I don't want.

Is there any way to render something that was build in the End dimension? My build is demonic and looks quite silly with sky and sun around it! Another alternative would be rendering at night with a moon rather than sun? Any ideas?

Whenever i try to make a render and i use torches, it turns out with orange and white dots everywhere, and I let it render out for a few hours, but they didn't go away. Please help

This pack left me speechless! I play with a beautiful 10 frames per second with this pack, but it is worth every bit of lag and the 512x512 HD goodness!

I hope the final 1.5 version has the awful light in the nether and the ugly rain at night fixed.

Heya. I love your texture pack. I've been using it since probably just before Minecraft got out of beta. My computer can't quite handle the really high def, so I use the 64x64 version. It's still pixellish enough to be minecraft, and yet looks beautiful.
However, I was really disappointed about the color of Mycelium when I found out just five minutes ago. I'm on a survival server, and I want to build something involving the ground being purple and slimy looking. And I wanted it to be a real great achievement. So I legitimately managed to get an enchantment table, managed to get a diamond pickaxe with Silktouch on it, and went off on a journey across the ocean, exploring lost wilderness and vast seas on my journey to find a mushroom biome and harvest the Mycelium on it.
And at last, I finally found it. But the Mycelium was just normal grass. Green, and... grassy. xD
I respect your design choices, but I'm going to find a way to make the Mycelium purple-ish again. If I have to edit that texture every time I update the texture pack, or use a different texture pack, that's what I'll do, haha!

I can't run Minecraft with this texture pack. I have a pretty good PC and video card, and I run the game at the highest settings with a 64x texture pack without lag. However, I got the "out of memory" error when I installed this texture pack. I exited, and attempted to run the game again, but just got a black screen.
I tried to access the thread about the "out of memory" error, but it says that I do not have permission to view the topic.
Edit: I tried the black screen fix on the OP, and that didn't work. Help!

I have 4gb allocated to minecraft, and when I use the 256x256 texture it says it only uses about 600mb of it. Yet I still only get about 5fps. Why is this?

Agreed. My FPS has dropped from 70-80fps with a HD pack on 1.4.7 to 30-40fps without a HD pack on 1.5.1. Recording new videos displaying my mod features is next to impossible as while before I could record at a constant (capped) 30fps I can only just hit 25fps now, and the video looks like a slideshow at times. Please fix this Jeb. The lighting engine was perfectly fine in 1.4,7. And don't leave us waiting till 1.6
