    1) IGN:
    xGunning

    2) Your age:
    14

    3) How long have you been playing the server? (Minimum of 3 days):
    I have been playing Convicted for around 6 months.

    4) Have you read the Server, Prison, and Guard Rules?
    I have read the prison rules very thoroughly. I could recite the rules if needed, "Noakii"

    5) Any experience with the prison genre?
    I have been a Head Warden on the prison server "Trapped
    ", which my rank used to be Head Guard. I have also been a Guard on the server "Condemned Prison."

    6) What is your time zone?
    My time zone is Central Standard Time.

    7) Why are you the best choice for guard?
    I am the best choice for guard because of my patience and maturity. Many people have recommended me to apply for guard and know the name xGunning on many servers. I can follow the rules and enforce them very well. I could memorize all the rules, which I have started to do. I believe that I have good PvP skills, and could kill someone easily. I know how to guard on prison servers, considering I have very good experience. I have been playing this server for a while now, and understand how everything works. I can censor the chat also, and contribute to the server very much. While most guards just hunt and kill, I actually read and understand everything that is going on. I have been told I am mature for my age, which would be a great contribution to the server.

    8) What is your current rank? Do you understand that we will require PROOF of your rank when/if you retire from guard?
    My current rank is Elite, and I have donated. I have taken screenshots of my current rank, so this would not be a problem.

    Thank you for reading my application and considering me to be a new guard on the wonderful server Convicted, "Noakii"
    Proof of Elite

    I reccommend. I know xGUn would be great as guard.

    Server crashed :( It is probably nothing really much to get worried about. When Noakii or Viper gets on they will fix it.

    And no warden applications. Again, "totally not a troll app"

    POLL: What should I add to my guide next?
    1. Screenshots
    2. Maps
    3. Warden profiles
    4. Lists of guards and trainees
    5. Mine percentage values
    6. Some combination of the above
    7. All of the above (may take a really long time)
    8. Something else (Please say)

    1. You should add screenshots that would be cool.
    2. Not sure how to do maps. But, you seem you might know so cool idea.
    3. Warden profiles would be cool along with Alpha ones. Maybe add nick names for them.
    4. A list of guards would be cool but it would need constant updating.
    5. I like mine percentage values. That would be interesting

    If you need help with the guide feel free to ask.

    ****. This is one hell of a guard application. Haven't really seen one this good in a while. Let's all put aside the past and make this man a Trainee-Guard, shall we? Recommended

    Convicted for Morons

    This guide assumes that you already have a basic knowledge of the rules of Convicted and have gone through the tutorial and understand the basic mechanics of a prison server. This guide will cover some more knowledge not covered in the tutorial such as basic information on the staff, blocks, plots, and rules.

    NOTE: This guide is protected under a SexualSex69Noakii License. This means that you are free to replicate this guide and use it in any way you wish although I would really appreciate it if you did not take credit for it.

    Section 1 :: : The Guards

    1.1.1 : Who are they?
    The guard staff aims to maintain the general role of a prison server. They enforce prison rules such as contraband policies as well as some other things like PvP zone abuse. Usually you will see 4-5 guards on at a time.

    1.1.2 : Guard Ranks

    Trainee Guard: Starting rank for any newly accepted applicant. Has access to C block only.
    Full Guard: Full fledged guards form the bulk of the staff. These guards have access to blocks D, C, B. They also gain use of the plugin Insta-Eat which allows them to instantaneously eat any food item and gain a corresponding amount of food. (No cakes or drinks though) Guards do not suffer from standard hunger.
    Alpha Guard: These guards are essentially moderators of the server. They have all the privilages of a Guard with the addition of access to A block, Elite block, and ability to exit the prison. They have access to mute and ban commands. Alpha Guards are also permitted to use the X-Ray mod in order to detect xrayers. They may also demote C prisoners to D-Block.

    1.2.1 : Prison rule typical jail times
    The standard jail time is listed as 10 minutes. However, not all rules work like that. Note that these rules are only what most guards do. Do not cry “ABOOSE” if a guard does something different. Guards are not permitted to jail for longer than 30 minutes except for a server rule violation.
    Failure to hand over sword: 10 Minutes
    Failure to exit PvP zone during combat: 10 Minutes
    PvP zone abuse including but not limited to pushing, drowning, etc.: 15 minutes
    Mine area griefing including but not limited to planting trees in areas other than the C Tree farm: 30 minutes
    Server rule violation: Indefinite

    1.3.1 : List of active Trainees
    I’ll just update this as I go on
    1.3.2 : List of active Guards
    I’ll just update this as I go on
    1.3.3 : List of active Alpha Guards
    Mattme11
    Pecyboy3
    AldronAron
    Damn_Hobos
    Benjaminsaunders
    Frootboy147
    MikeySchaum

    Section 2 :: : Wardens
    Wardens are the operators of the server and have access to all commands. Treat them with respect. They occasionally do fun events such as block parties.
    2.1.1 : List of wardens
    ViperKnows
    Noakii
    JaakeyX
    Deathbanes
    MoBains
    P0TAT0ES
    Dualbladez

    2.1.2 : Warden profiles
    COMING AS SOON AS I CAN ASK THE WARDENS

    Section 3 :: : C-Block

    3.1.1 :: : Important places in C-Block

    Spawning area: Duh
    Jail cells: Rentable cells for an amount of time. Make sure you know when yours expires
    Message board: Contains information on things such as stars
    Cafeteria: Food is served from time to time. Food is completely random.
    Showers: Yeah whatever. Don’t drop the soap tho.
    Main Foyer: The bloodiest part of the prison. This part is frequently redecorated. Many free prisoners (more on them later) and guards will be waging a war in here. Tread carefully. Always sprint from place to place.
    C-Bank: Contains warps to the player market and the event room.
    C-Block shop: Where you can buy and sell blocks for BP
    C-Pool: Where you can fish. Contains a hidden disc.
    C-Food shop: Buy food here
    C-Workroom: Contains public furnaces (beware of theft), an enchantment table with no bookshelves, crafting tables, as well as private furnace rooms.
    C-Quarry: Contains stone (sold for 1 bp each), iron ore (must be smelted to be sold for 32 bp), and coal (16 bp)
    C-Tree farm: Contains trees. Yeah. (Logs for 4 bp each)

    3.1.2 :: : Block prices for C-Block
    For stack prices multiply number by 64
    Cobble stone Buy 2 Sell 1
    Log 1 (Oak) Buy 8 Sell 4
    Log 2 (Birch) Buy 8 Sell 4
    Wood 1 (Oak) Buy 2 Sell 1
    Wood 2 (Birch) Buy 2 Sell 1
    Coal Buy 32 Sell 16
    Iron Ingot Buy 64 Sell 32
    Sapling Buy 50 (Stacks of 64 only)

    3.2.1 :: : General tips for C-Block
    C-Block may be THE MOST dangerous place in the prison. There is always a ridiculous amount of activity there.
    1. ALWAYS SPRINT. I cannot emphasize this enough. If you do not, you will be torn apart by frees the moment you leave the workplace.
    2. Work in small amounts. Should you get killed, its gonna suck if you lose a full inventory of logs.
    3. Don’t bring really good tools unless you’re prepared to lose them.
    4. If you’re aiming to leave C-Block, try to refrain from PvP. You will get torn apart.
    5. When mining, watch the ground. There are A LOT of holes.
    6. The tree farm, when it actually has saplings in it, is the FASTEST source of income.
    7. Use the player market. You might be surprised by what you can find in there.

    Section 4 :: : B-Block
    Well, if you’re reading this, then you’ve obviously advanced from the hell known as C. Congrats.

    4.1.1 : Important areas
    Spawning area: Meh. Nothing special.
    Cells: Rentable cells. I believe they are more spacious than C-block cells and as such more expensive. There is also a disc hidden here.
    B-Foyer: This is the only area where PvP is enabled in B-Block. However, it’s pretty big.
    Block shop: Buy and sell blocks
    Food shop: Buy food. Also contains chicken farm.
    Chicken farm: Kill chickens and sell the loot
    B-Bank/workroom: Contains private furnaces and enchantment table with controllable bookshelves (2 and 4 only)
    Basketball court: Serves no purpose whatsoever except for free orange wool
    Workplace hallway: PVP DISALBED!!! YAY!!!
    Dirt mine: Contains dirt, sand, and clay
    Sandstone “ancient” mine: Contains sandstone, gold ore (sells for same as iron), and diamonds (Yay!!!)

    4.1.2 :: : Block prices
    Clay Sell 2
    Diamonds Buy 600 Sell 150
    Gold Ingots Buy 64 Sell 32
    Feathers Sell 300 (Stack only)
    Raw chicken Sell 5

    4.2.1 :: : General tips for B-Block
    Since this block is considerably less populated you can be less careful. I still recommend sprinting especially since the distance from workplace is quite long. This place is almost not guarded so you should bring a weapon just in case you need to push someone back a little. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT PVP ABUSE THE LACK OF SUGAR CANE BETWEEN WORKPLACE AND FOYER!!!!!

    Section 5 :: : A-Block
    Grats. You’re almost there. Don’t get excited yet though. Note that the workplaces and the block shop are linked with a non-pvp zone. Yay!!!

    5.1.1 Important areas

    Spawn: Contains a potion shop at the back as well as an enchantment table with 7 shelves. There’s also a hidden disc here.
    Hockey Rink: Free black wool
    Foyer: Space between bank and other parts. Also contains a Free exit
    Mob Farm: Costs 25 BP to access. One of the best workplaces that I know of. Loot can be sold for assorted prices.
    Netherrack mine: Contains iron, diamonds, netherrack, and glowstone
    Pool: Contains a disc
    Cells: Last 10 days, cost 2,000 BP and are pretty big. 5*4*5
    Bank: It’s a bank. Also contains private furnaces. These furnaces are also equipped with a brewing stand.
    Food store: Has cake. And apples.
    Free Exit: Frees can leave the prison through here.

    5.1.2 Block Prices

    Glowstone Buy 4 Sell 2
    Cake Buy 180 Sell 90
    Apples Buy 36 Sell 18
    Netherrack Buy 2 Sell 1
    Spider eye Sell 15
    Rotten flesh Sell 15
    String Sell 30
    Bone Sell 30
    Arrow Sell 5

    5.2.1 General Tips for A-Block
    If you have attained a lot of armor from guard battles, the mob farm may be an ideal source of income.
    You can now start mining as much as you want as the shops and the workplaces are connected through non-pvp. Careful, you can still get killed going from workplace to bank.
    Standard guards are not permitted to access this area. I was only able to get in by asking a warden to TP me in. Do not expect a guard to come and save your life. It won’t happen.

    Section 6 : Elite Block
    Here you are. This is the final step to freedom. With access to multiple work areas, the entire prison, and the wonderful Tunnel Quest, it’s impossible to stop here. Note that PvP is entirely disabled in this block. Also, Tunnel Quest has an XP reward that can provide a great source of powerful enchantments.
    Special thanks to Noakii for letting me in to write this.

    6.1.1 : Important areas
    Elite spawn: Yeah whatever
    Pig farm: Pigs. There’s also a hidden disc here.
    Snow mine: Fills your inventory faster than ever thought possible. Bring 8 iron shovels and a pick. Contains snow, iron ore, and diamond ore, both in relatively high quantities.
    Elite bank: Contains private furnaces. Note that these furnaces are not glitch proof. Be cautious.
    Elite block shop: Has access to most blocks in the game. Also sells iron and diamond tools as well as food. Disc hidden here.
    Tunnel quest: The elite parkour challenge. Completing it rewards you with 5000 XP (52 levels)
    Mossy cobblestone mine: Contains mossy stone, diamonds, gold ore, and coal.
    Ender mine: Endstone, lapis (unsellable at this point), redstone (unsellable at this point), and nether brick.
    Elite fishing: Fish. Yay. There is a disc hidden here.
    Elite Cells: 5,000 BP for one month. Wow.
    6.1.2 : Block prices
    Iron Axe Buy 30
    Iron Pick Buy 30
    Iron Spade Buy 10
    Diamond Axe Buy 500
    Diamond Pick Buy 500
    Diamond Spade Buy 150
    Compass Buy 100
    Watch Buy 100
    Golden Apple Buy 100
    Pork Sell 15
    Snow Block Buy 1 Sell 0.5
    Glass Buy 10
    Mossy Cobble Buy 4 Sell 2
    Ender Stone Buy 6 Sell 3
    Nether Brick Buy 8 Sell 4
    6.2.1 Elite Tips
    You should know what to do now. Mine large amounts. Pig farm is somewhat ineffective. Personally, I recommend snow. If you don’t want to smelt the iron ore, sell it in the player market for 30 BP a piece. You can keep the diamonds or sell them. I would sell them as there will be plenty of opportunities to get diamonds in Omega.

    Section 7 : Free
    Congratulations! You have successfully left the prison. Now, the whole world is yours to explore. Know that griefing and stealing ARE permitted in the wilderness. However, please don’t be an asshole and destroy somebody’s huge creation. You now have access to the cities Slums, and Omega.

    7.1.1 Omega
    COMING SOON
    7.1.2 Omega places
    Jaak Jaak Hotel: Rates are small room 200 bp 7 days, medium room 1000 bp for 7 days
    Netherbrick Mine: Contains mushrooms, gold blocks, iron blocks, diamond ore, iron ore, gold ore, and netherbrick.
    Pumpkin mine:
    Ott3rLov3r Pool House: Omega fishing. Best prices around.
    Dannica K. Food and Liquor: Food shop
    Bank of Omega City: Has private furnaces on 2nd floor.
    Nether Portal: The only portal on the server.
    Brewing building: Private brewing stands. One at a time only.
    Omega Public Farm: Looks like a farm but was closed at time of writing.
    Omega Tool Shop: Cheapest tools around
    Enchantment ministry: Sells XP bottles and contains enchantment rooms up to levels 1-30
    Wizards Tower: No purpose whatsoever at time of writing
    Omega Mob Drop shop: Has higher sell rates than A-block.
    Omega Community Lots: Essentially super sized hotel rooms. Only 5 avaliable.
    7.1.3 Omega prices
    Brick Buy 64 Sell 32

    Section 8 : Becoming a guard
    So, you wish to join the guards? Be warned, this can be a very frustrating path to take.
    Step 1. Fill out an application at bit.ly/jailforum
    Know that application standards are VERY high. You will need to be well known on the server, be proficient at PvP, and have a good app to have the best chance to be accepted.
    If your application is not accepted, find out where you went wrong. You can try asking guards in-game to read your application. Maybe you forgot the name of a certain green yoshi…
    Step 2. Assuming that you’ve been accepted, you will now be a Trainee Guard. You will gain access to /kit guard and /kit food. Know that as a guard, you will not have the PvP freedom that you used to have. Be careful. Know the common jail times.

    As a guard, you will also get requests from players for help. Try to fufill their requests as best you can. You will also get a lot more hate if you make a mistake, or even if you jail somebody rightfully. Don’t worry. Be firm. Be sure of yourself. But, make sure you are right. Guards are people too, not spambots repurposed to PvP. We make mistakes. The important part is to recover and keep moving.

    Alpha guard tips: I’ll write this when either A: I become one lol or B: I get an opportunity to ask one.

    Section 9 : The “Free”
    The Free is the polar opposite of the guard. They aim to kill EVERYTHING in C-foyer, which is why it is such a dangerous place. Frees are typically equipped with powerful armor, swords, and are pretty good at PvP. The primary source of their enchanting XP is Tunnel Quest.

    Section 10 : D-Block
    Should a C-block player get into 5 fights in a short time, an alpha guard or warden can send them to D-Block. All contraband in D-block is KILL ON SIGHT. Diamond tools are contraband in D-block.

    Section 10.1.1
    Important places:
    D Feeding hole: Not really interesting. Stuff just comes down from here every now and then.
    Obsidian mine: Contains gold ore, iron ore, and coal.
    D Pool: Just a pool. Woohoo
    Bedrock Quarry: Contains bedrock (woo hoo..) stone, and silverfish stone. Be careful.
    D Bank: Yeah. There is no warp to the player market here.
    D Workroom: Contains furnaces and workbenches. The entrance to the prison escape path is hidden here.
    D Block Shop: Note that in D block items sell for less. Tough luck.

    10.2.1 : D-block tips
    D-block contains almost zero players. Don’t worry about guards, they rarely come down here. Just mine obsidian and you’ll eventually get out.

    10.3.1 : Escape
    Escaping the prison legitimately requires 6 players that can all access D-Block. If one dies en-route, you’re screwed. I will not describe the process as I haven’t seen all of it but I can confirm that it can be very frustrating when your sprint fails or when someone can’t read. Guards sometimes run the escape course for recreation.

    Section 11 : Unbans for morons
    Well, if you’re reading this section then you must have dun goofed. Oops.
    Here are common reasons to get banned:
    Hacks
    Spam
    Advertising
    Glitching
    Alphas and wardens screwing around and forgetting to unban people
    Griefing
    DDOS
    Being a jerk

    If you were banned for hacks: Most likely, you will not be unbanned. Deal with it. If you did not hack, then explain the ENTIRE situation, as well as what you may have done to make it look like you were hacking and why it was something else. Saying “I didn’t hack, it was lag” won’t cut it. If you did hack, then admit your fault and put in a VERY lengthy apology. And mean it.

    If you were banned for spam: Apologize and admit your fault. Include a good apology. Usually, a first offense is a mute.

    If you were banned for advertising: Just don’t come back. Please.

    If you were banned for glitching: Similar to hacks although you have a somewhat better chance of coming back.

    If you were banned while Alphas and Wardens were screwing around: Remind them. They’ll unban you.

    If you were banned for griefing: Usually this will be in a quarry or excessive tree farm destruction. It’s typically a temp. Wait it out.

    If you were banned for DDOS/SS: I don’t really know but I would say don’t come back.

    If you were banned for being a jerk, put a VERY lengthy apology, admit the error of your ways, and most importantly, CHANGE YOUR BEHAVIOR.

    If you were banned for a reason not listed, or if the message simply states “The ban hammer has spoken!” then ask why.
    Full guide in its current state. I will NOT do donor without express permission from a warden. Since I can't really donate, this is my way of giving to the server.

    Thanks :) And the full guide is very well done. I like it. Very cool.

    Guard App

    1) IGN:
    Inwardlawyer29

    2) Your age:
    Sixteen

    3) How long have you been playing the server? (Minimum of 3 days)
    Well I started playing in December then in somewhere in January I turned into a jerk and got banned for many things. But now I am very fortuante Noakii let me unbanned me to come back.

    4) Have you read the Server, Prison, and Guard Rules?:
    Yes I have. And of course. Noakii

    5) Any experience with the prison genre?
    Yes this was my first prison server. I have played on other prisons too and on Mcp I became warden. That server is now down. And I play DDTS time to time and was a guard there at one point.

    6) What is your time zone?
    Pacific Time Zone

    7) Why are you the best choice for guard?
    OK well I fell I could be a good choice for several reasons. I know my history. But, that was months ago. I am sorry for what I did. And plus I promise not to abuse my powers. I spent a lot of time trying to get unabnned. i would not go through threw all that trouble. But now with that I would like to go through reason why I think I am a good choice for guard.

    Ok first off I am trustworthy. I know some of you knowing my history way back when may go like "say what" but I fell you can trust me. Guards have a big role in the server. It is a big aspect in a prison server. They help keep Pvp where it is not out of control. And they get rid of contrabands when possible. They balance the server. They also from time to time answer questions for new prisoners if there is no warden or alpha. There are a lot of responsibilitis in Guards. i promise as long as I am guard I will do my job. I know you have to give up the luxury of other blocks, and you may not make a lot of money, and you have to leave your faction. But, I am willing to give those things up. I love guarding. I like the ability to be able to protect people and help them.

    Next off, I am loyal. I will listen to all ranks above me. Warden and Alpha. And I will also listen to other guards. Like if another guard needs help, I will help them. Or even if a guard doesn't know a rule I would help them to the best of my ability. If a warden tells me I did something wrong I would apologize and fix my mistake. And if a alpha tells me to guard somewhere, I will listed. Even if I think it is a stupid place to guard. Because a fact is an Alpha has been guarding for a while and knows A LOT. And all wardens have guarding experience. SO I know that if I am told to o something you guys are probably right.

    Adding to being loyal I will be very active. I play here as much as I can. I know school is coming up but I can still be active with school. There may be a day every once in a while where I am extremely busy and I can't come on thought. But, I will be active. That is another part of being a guard. You must be active. You can't come on once a week unless you are on a vacation or something.

    Another reason why I think I would be a good choice is because I have experience. On another server I was guard and eventually got to HeadGuard and Warden. Mikey and Sleazy can vouch for me. During that experience I learned a lot about being a guard. I learned a lot of things. Eventually I developed a process and it became very fun and I really enjoyed it. I also learned that you need to guard many areas. Not just one area. But you should be going around to make sure all is good. C foyers has a lot of pvp but there are other areas to watch. Some places in plot courtyard i see prisoners meet there and after food cafe is wild. But I learned many things from guarding in the past. And I would like to have another great guarding experience.

    My final reason is that I will do my job at all times. When I was on a few other prison servers I noticed some guards didn't do their jobs a lot. I mean you may have to get new armor if yours breaks or respond to a message very fast. But most of the time, you should be guarding. That is in the name of the job. On these other places some people would call for help and they would say they were mining. There are certain things you have to do as guard and guarding is that.

    That is why I think I would be a good choice for guard. I know my history, but I promise I will do my job and use my privelages for good. All these things above I will follow. And if I start to become a little stale on the rules I will look over them again. I will follow all rules and do what my job requires.

    8) What is your current rank? Do you understand that we will require PROOF of your rank when/if you retire from guard?
    I am free rank and I took a picture before I wrote this.

    Thank you,
    Inwardlawyer29 :D

    Quote from urasyupi2

    Hey everyone, I've been writing a sort of Morons Guide to Convicted and I wanted to post what I have so far to see what everyone thinks and what I could improve.
    Warning: REALLY REALLY LONG

    Convicted for Morons

    This guide assumes that you already have a basic knowledge of the rules of Convicted and have gone through the tutorial and understand the basic mechanics of a prison server. This guide will cover some more knowledge not covered in the tutorial such as basic information on the staff, blocks, plots, and rules.

    Section 1 ::: The Guards

    Section 2 ::: Wardens
    Wardens are the operators of the server and have access to all commands. Treat them with respect. They occasionally do fun events such as block parties.
    2.1.1 : List of wardens
    ViperKnows
    Noakii
    JaakeyX
    Deathbanes
    MoBains
    P0TAT0ES
    Dualbladez

    2.1.2 : Warden profiles
    COMING AS SOON AS I CAN ASK THE WARDENS

    Section 3 ::: C-Block

    3.1.1 ::: Important places in C-Block

    Spawning area: Duh
    Jail cells: Rentable cells for an amount of time. Make sure you know when yours expires
    Message board: Contains information on things such as stars
    Cafeteria: Food is served from time to time. Food is completely random.
    Showers: Yeah whatever
    Premium showers: Contains a disc inside (A-BLOCK+ ONLY)
    Main Foyer: The bloodiest part of the prison.

    3.1.2 ::: Block prices for C-Block
    For stack prices multiply number by 64
    Cobble stone Buy 2 Sell 1
    Log 1 (Oak) Buy 8 Sell 4
    Log 2 (Birch) Buy 8 Sell 4
    Wood 1 (Oak) Buy 2 Sell 1
    Wood 2 (Birch) Buy 2 Sell 1
    Coal Buy 32 Sell 16
    Iron Ingot Buy 64 Sell 32
    Sapling Buy 50 (Stacks of 64 only)

    3.2.1 ::: General tips for C-Block

    Section 4 ::: B-Block

    4.1.2 ::: Block prices
    Clay Sell 2
    Diamonds Buy 600 Sell 150
    Gold Ingots Buy 64 Sell 32
    Feathers Sell 300 (Stack only)
    Raw chicken Sell 5

    4.2.1 ::: General tips for B-Block

    Awesome! I think this is very cool and helpful. :D
